Stormtrooper11: Ohh yeah Nigeria is a very important country I get it. But where was this German Newspaper to let Nigeria know that it is an important country ever since our Independence in 1960 and the riding through the turbulent years as a country not until this recent 2023 election, then the newspaper doesn't see anything positive to say about the election, rather it is targeting the country as a whole. |

Covert1: What arrant nonsense, calling Nigeria a country of bigots and ethnic irredentists. Why should they be concerned about Nigerian politics. The unintelligent newspaper corporation needs to be reminded that Germany is a nation of world war orchestrating, nazistic, Jewish xenophobic, cunning, inglorious basterds that allowed despicable dictators like Adolf Hitler and Angela Merkel to be it's leader . 2 Likes |

Well there's nothing we can do about it, INEC has announced him as the winner. We just have to pray and have faith that the Tinubu leadership surpasses our expectations positively. If I were in Tinubu shoes, I will call a meeting with the other 17 presidential candidates and invite them to join hands with me so as to make Nigeria better, anyone of them that is legible to be a minister should give a heads up signal. That's a better way to gain the support of the masses and to avoid problems (cause we Nigerians are really crazy people). Nigeria is a country of really crazy people and it will take a crazier leader to lead us properly to the promised land. We need a very controversial, disciplined, no-nonense, brave, economic oriented, peaceful and tolerant to some extent President. Infact I think Russia and China should lend us their presidents for 1 year, then we will return them later with some interesting interests But on a serious note, I'm not a supporter of APC but I think Tinubu is a better candidate. He's got enough political experience and his achievements with and in Lagos state speaks for him. And I think he is the most controversial of the top 3 candidates, he will not accept Nigeria to be treated as a satellite state or puppet by other countries. Nigeria will likely realize it's African Super Power potentials under his leadership just as he laid the foundation for the development of Lagos state. Though I wouldn't want him to represent Nigeria at the UN assembly or any other international gathering. His speeches during the presidential campaign is enough embarrassment. Peter Obi on the other is a really good guy and I'm sure he wants the best for the country. But I fear that he might only concentrate on fixing the country's economy. Although, if the economy is good, then other sectors will be easy peasy but nevertheless he still has to be active and revered in cases involving foreign affairs, trade and investment (local and international), the military's support and loyalty and other things, you guys should know what I'm talking about. And then, on Atiku. Don't even get me started on that one. We all know he will privatize the whole of Nigeria. And just as his name implies; A ti Ku in Yoruba meaning "We Are Dead" |

Faithful007: The J-10 is much more a copy of the Israeli IAI Lavi aircraft which never entered service by the way, just a prototype was produced. But whenever I look at the EuroFighter Typhoon from the front and Chengdu J 10 with the square air inlet, I wonder if it's a question of "who copied who" or just an unusual coincidence.

peacefull: Well this is insightful. I guess North Korea did commit some atrocities that made Japan view them with a negative lens. Though I think we shouldn't use the actions of Kim Jong Un's grandfather and the North Korea of then (who committed the crime of kidnapping Japanese nationals and forcing them to act as spies), to judge Kim Jong Un and North Korea of present. Nevertheless the fact that North Korea has nuclear weapons that can reach as far as Japanese waters and beyond, that's just enough to send chills down the spine of anyone within the strike zone. And I understand that a lot of Japanese don't want to go through the horrors of conflict again after witnessing that of WW2, but just as the saying goes; "If you want peace, prepare for war". I wish you and all of Japan peace, hopeful that you don't get caught in the Super Powers tussle(God have mercy on Ukraine) cause Japan is one of the largest manufacturing hubs in the world. I wonder what the world will be like without Japan. No electronic devices, No vehicles, no industrial equipments, what else could ever go wrong?? 1 Like |

GabrielYulaw: Just as you assumed, "IF" the US invades North Korea and we all know that's not going to happen for as long as North Korea keeps up with nuclear weapons development. By the way, you still haven't showed me any proof of recent that North Korea as a country kidnapped the Japanese and taught them the old Japanese ways by force. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Exnavyboy62: 5:07am On Feb 24, 2023 |
GabrielYulaw: What proof of recent do you have to show that North Korea as a country has been kidnapping the Japanese and doing whatever you said they were doing to them?? Did I ever say anything about Mr Kim Jong Un's diet being responsible for keeping North Korea safe?? Did you read my write up properly at all. I never said North Korea launched ballistic missiles into the waters of countries hosting US military bases (e.g; Japan and South Korea)for nor reason, they are not only a response to US-South Korean exercises, they are also a message to the US to stay clear of it's territory as it will not like to be in the same situation as victims of NATO gangsters bullying, who unfortunately had no nuclear weapons to serve as a war deterrent for them. Yes you are right and at the same time, they can't afford an arms race with South Korea in terms of conventional weapons so rather than waste the available money, time, energy and resources they have on such, wouldn't it be better if they have a better more powerful and efficient war deterrent, hence why they turned to their allies (China and Russia) "for help" in nuclear weapons development and the allies seem to have done a good job in being an all weather friend to the small Island. As I said, who knows maybe my argument is not relevant to the issue on ground. I don't live in any of the said countries so I don't know what it feels like to perceive a threat. |
Foreign Affairs / Re: Technical Discussions On International Military Equipments Doctrines Tactics Etc by Exnavyboy62: 3:02pm On Feb 22, 2023 |
peacefull: Well from the way I look at it, I don't think China and North Korea has anything to gain in having any hostilities with Japan. Their only concern is the US which has military bases on Japanese soil and all over the South Asian region. Having a country like the US within reach of China and surrounding China with bases is a threat to their national security cause when war breaks out, the bases will serve as launchpads for operations and it will be easier for the US to blockade China. And as we all know, China doesn't intend to invade the US but the US and NATO bloc for no credible reason sees China as a threat. As for North Korea, they are only doing what they can to keep themselves safe. Since they don't have funds to purchase conventional weapons due to the heavy sanctions on them, they have no choice but to turn to their allies(China and Russia) which has helped them in missile development hence why they have ICBMs or as they like to call it "War deterrent". Those ballistic missile launches that go as far as the senkaku Islands and fall in Japanese waters are not intended to threaten Japan, they are only a response to the exercises conducted by US and South Korea and most especially a message to US that it can strike it's bases and they should stay clear of North Korean territory. But who knows, maybe my opinion is not relevant to the issue on ground, I'm just an armchair general, that's why I asked for the opinion of a Japanese national. Thanks once again for your response. And one more thing, your mother was right about the West not wanting Asia to be strong and united. 1 Like |

peacefull: Hey quick question, I was watching a documentary on Japan increasing it's military budget and boosting it's military strength. Soldiers and civilians from the Japanese mainlands and those in the islands of Okinawa and co. were also interviewed. "Do you think China is a threat to Japanese national security??" Forget about how the US and NATO portrays China and pls give an honest reply, Thank you. |

By the way, can any armchair Air force Marshall in the online barracks help me out in my comparison of Nigeria's A29 tucano to Niger's TAI Hurkus jet. One was delivered with laser guided rockets and gut wrenching restrictions while the other is yet to be delivered, yet to be battle tested but comes along with missiles and no restrictions. Which is most likely to record better success against ISWAP elements?? 3 Likes |

bidexiii: This is absolute nonsense. What evidence do they have to show that the Nigerian Army is guilty of the allegations they are making against it. The so called Champions of human rights who can't restrict weapons sale to Israel for it's atrocities against Palestine, they see Nigeria has a country to joke with. Such hypocrisy they are even the biggest violators of human rights. That's it we've had enough, the air force should no longer be interested in those whack helicopters that Vietnam made mince meat out of. We already have drones in service and awaiting delivery, same for helicopters and aircrafts. They can keep their helicopters for all we don't care. We already know they don't want conflict to end in Africa cause it benefit them. DAMN!!! I'm so pissed 2 Likes |
