This claim seems somehow. The advert was placed 7th of this month. Generally, the mail for the game based assessment was received on the 13th of this month. Going by your submission (2 weeks ago), it means the person got his or her game based assessment and ODVI between 7th and 8th which is almost impossible. I perceive you either mixed up the timeline or the person ain't coming out straight. However, taking clues from their previous recruitment, all the mails for ODVI might fall in this or week or the next.

whatever evidence you provide to meet the school english requirement has to be submitted as proof along with your visa application. That said your CAS should cover whatever it is you used

I did mine last week Monday. There are 3 games and a psychometric test. You'll be shown clips of how to play the games, nothing biggy about the games.

The earlier the better, so that people can start mobilizing ASAP for the visa

Typically PTDF issues an award letter stating that they will pay your tuition and your upkeep and that will be used to apply for the student visa and is sufficient evidence of proof of funds

Yes they do carry out verification in the background before the final awards are sent, if they will issue awards next week, they will have done the verification already

A close friend was a winner sometime ago. As it was explained to her, the top 5 in the exam are selected for foreign, then the next 5 are selected for local - it was AGIP staff that explained it on the day they were to collect the award letter

Yes sometime they contact people who applied to foreign to upload local if their scores aren't up to foreign but are up to local

Because I spotted one of them still adding it that she was a PTDF awardee/scholar, which is making me ask if they switched their funding to US

I personally know 2 that already got scholarships in the US before PTDF list came out, that is the case for many because there were serious delays in the last PTDF scholarship list

Because when he got award letter at PTDF towers he went to complain to them that he didn't chose FGM in his application - that's when they told him PTDF reserves the right to give you any one and explained it to him

I have seen it happen. PTDF reserves the right to allocate you either UK or FGM depending on how things work out in your state. If for example you did very well but not well enough for UK, but you surpassed all the FGM applicants, they can move you to FGM. Happened to my mentee.

But I have seen many FGM scholars that got their second or third choice after shortlisting.

Nothing specific about first class honestly. It is just like someone with first class is more likely to do well in O level as well. It is the compounding effect

Or perhaps, there was a public outcry against the neglect of 2:1 and 2:2 candidates last year. In my findings, I am yet to see any non-first class applicant that won it in 2020/2021 . Well, things may change this year.

Over the years, I have read that portal changing determines if one will be successful or not. Dont know how true it is
