sure thing, i'm alluding that there could be two tracks, the ones that have received ODVI are possibly those that applied before the 7th, and those that haven't are those that applied after the 7th as they're generally more candidates and it will take some time to sift through

But a majority of us here that newly applied got the game test invite.
Nairaland is filled with brilliant and talented people, I don't want to believe none of us here didn't make the cut. All of us no fit sleep face d same direction na. So until one or two Nairalanders here confirm they've gotten an invite for the ODVI, I'm not giving up.

Also the application initially came out on the 4th of July, before it was republished due to it not having the correct information on the degrees they were hiring. Those who applied in the first batch got their invite for game almost immediately (although few) so the post is correct

This claim seems somehow. The advert was placed 7th of this month. Generally, the mail for the game based assessment was received on the 13th of this month. Going by your submission (2 weeks ago), it means the person got his or her game based assessment and ODVI between 7th and 8th which is almost impossible. I perceive you either mixed up the timeline or the person ain't coming out straight. However, taking clues from their previous recruitment, all the mails for ODVI might fall in this or week or the next.

whatever evidence you provide to meet the school english requirement has to be submitted as proof along with your visa application. That said your CAS should cover whatever it is you used

You will know if your course requires ATAS and that doesn't require PTDF list to be out before you apply

I did mine last week Monday. There are 3 games and a psychometric test. You'll be shown clips of how to play the games, nothing biggy about the games.

The earlier the better, so that people can start mobilizing ASAP for the visa

Typically PTDF issues an award letter stating that they will pay your tuition and your upkeep and that will be used to apply for the student visa and is sufficient evidence of proof of funds

Yes they do carry out verification in the background before the final awards are sent, if they will issue awards next week, they will have done the verification already

A close friend was a winner sometime ago. As it was explained to her, the top 5 in the exam are selected for foreign, then the next 5 are selected for local - it was AGIP staff that explained it on the day they were to collect the award letter

Yes sometime they contact people who applied to foreign to upload local if their scores aren't up to foreign but are up to local

Please , let's not discourage anyone asking questions as pertinent answers may be helpful for others too . Nevertheless, I have this question too. Is it true that despite the minimum O-level requirements being the 5 credits (including Maths and English listed on the PTDF website), during actual grading, once the candidate meets this aforementioned requirements, the highest grades in all related subjects would be picked irrespective of Maths and English?

It is highest subjects INCLUDING maths and English

Some poeple have been contacted to reupload certain documents, an indication that final award will be made soon

Once your name is on the list, you are a PTDF scholar - even if you decide to reject the scholarship

Do they forfeit their slot or PTDF gives it to somebody else?

Because I spotted one of them still adding it that she was a PTDF awardee/scholar, which is making me ask if they switched their funding to US

I personally know 2 that already got scholarships in the US before PTDF list came out, that is the case for many because there were serious delays in the last PTDF scholarship list

I got tempted to run through the list of successful candidates for 2020/2021 PTDF scholars after seeing the profiles of a few on LinkedIn, I was surprised to see like two (2) awardees having their Post Graduate study in the US although they were awarded MSc scholarship for GFM and the other UK; although I haven't chatted them up yet on LinkedIn, I began wondering if it was possible to switch to a country outside the PTDF specified countries of choice.

Well I just thought to ask sha and drop my 2 cents, I wish us all the best.

graduate. experience is much higher - I mean engineer in upstream e.g mechanical, process etc. Information systems should be slightly lower than the typical upstream ones
