Blind spots? Hmmmm am speechless oooo coz ur advice sounds unprofessional as per driving
His advice doesn't sound unprofessional. Most accidents on motorways occur as a result of ignoring blindspot. (blindspot is defined as a region in which an object is close to your vehicle and cannot be seen in the side and rear view mirrors) A cyclist, motorcycle or car could be in your blindspot and you pay great attention when switching lanes, turning or at roundabouts. In some advanced countries, if you don't pay attention to blindspots during a practical driving test, you have already failed

Also make sure to inquire if the business has a speed limit. NLNG for example has a speed limit of 20km/driving in Bonny! Breach that speed limit by 1km/hr and the command and control centre gets a notification. They also had limits for take-off speed and braking speed.

OP, also ensure that all occupants of the vehicle are wearing their seat belts before you drive off. ALL OCCUPANTS including those in the back seat
Speed limits are clearly stated on the entry of each road conspicuously, so he has to watch out for it and not ask for it. I know in Nigeria things are the opposite way

When you get there u will be tested. Don't hop into the car and start driving when given d key.

Open d bonnet and check d fluids, oil, radiator fluid, gear oil confirm they all gauged before starting the vehicle. While engine is steaming check d wipers and allow engine to steam a while before driving

You will fail the test if you hop in and start driving

I hope you have a driving license

Also check d Tyres. It shows you are an observant driver
Its called the walkaround check then assesment, its more like a practical driving test which unfortunately is not conducted in Nigeria before issuing full licence in any category. They may equally test your knowledge of primary and secondary controls of the vehicle. And don't forget, depending on the experience of who is assessing you, you could be asked some questions on rules of the road. Good write up and advise there.

TravelRe: Inquire On Best Way To Relocate My Family To Ireland by ExpressBooking(m): 4:49pm On Dec 20, 2021
I currently don't think Ireland Post graduate study with family and kids is going to be in the favour of ur wife unless you have a very huge explainable source of funds to support her and 4 kids alongside paying for nanny for about a year. The rent a year for an apartment that will be minimal convenient for your wife, kids and the visiting nanny will set you back about €1250 - €1800 monthly. That's for a one bedroom, living room, kitchen apartment or 2 bedroom depending on area. If it's in Dublin you are looking at about €20,000 on rent alone per year. Other associated bills won't be child's play.
Your wife will be allowed to work only 20hrs weekly and 40hrs when school is on break. Going by the minimum wage of €10.50 per hour, its still not gonna take care of anything.
I don't mean to discourage you, but its gonna be better if you move here alongside your family and help them settle in maybe when your wife is done with school, and gets a job with critical skills work permit, she can invite your mum or hers to assist

Admob090:
Over 4 million people sat for jamb exam and it happens to be only 352,000 people scored 150 above. The worse jamb score ever in this country
What do u expect from a country that celebrates mediocrity. Everyone is interested in Big Brother, Bitcoin, Yahoo, Social media influencing and Twitter.

So education for the youth is nothing to write home about and government has done practically nothing to address that. Teachers have to lowest morale and salary in this country. How can students excel.

Its good news for jamb as they keep making money from sale of forms. Imagine 4 million registration forms at 4,000 naira, thats 16 billion in one year. Next year the value goes higher

Welcome to Nigeria.

The law in Nigeria court marriage do not permit someone to marry while they have not officially divorced. So I don’t know how she said he is planning to marry in September.

The only explanation could be that they did not do registry marriage.

Therefore if they did not court marriage he does not have to go to court to sign their divorce papers. So he might be right.

But if they did, and he marry again without do process. of annulling the former, that is an offense and the new marriage is void
If he remarries in a court albeit before a dissolution of the first marriage, its an offence called bigamy and it carries a jail sentence everywhere in the world.

He can remarry only traditionally and in the church, if his church will allow that. But he wouldn't dare do a court marriage again without dissolution of the first one(thats assuming they were legally married by law)
CelebritiesRe: Sign The Divorce Papers - Mercy Aigbe Begs Lanre Gentry (Photos) by ExpressBooking(m): 5:36pm On Jun 24, 2021
I really dont understand this drama of "sign the divorce papers". I used to watch those on African Magic. Do you really need one to sign divorce papers?

Divorce is a decree of a competent court of jurisprudence and pronounced by a magistrate or judge as Decree Nissi, then after 3 months Decree Absolute.

The only thing i know that requires a consent signature is a "Legal Separation" in which both parties agree to terms of separation and thia will be presented to a court to form the basis of a divorce. Even when your partner refuses to enter into a mediation cum legal separation agreement with you, You are entitled to explore a forced type of agreement called "Judicial separation" in which the court determines and sets the conditions of a separation. Then once a separation agreement is in place whether Legal or Judicial, you can pursue your divorce petition in court.

If your spouse is evading service of court summons by the court bailiffs based on address or deliberately, your lawyer can obtain leave of court to serve him/her through substituted means(paste at his last known address, paste in court premises, publish in two national dailies or so).
So if the bailiff confirms to the court that service was done via substituted means, if the time given by court lapses, the divorce petition will be heard and decided by the court in absentia.

I may not be 100% correct but i guess this is how divorce case goes.

I frequently hear people saying, that they wont sign divorce papers or that someone refused to sign or you will get the divorce papers from my lawyer.

Divorce is not an agreement of any sort, its a court decree

I told you I have an Irish son. I sent in the application over a year ago and they just rquestrd for additional documents which I have sent. What's next?

Yeah, if you are lucky maybe within 16months
You have apply as a visitor than once here, you can just go to the Garda office and apply for Stamp 4.
Is your spouse Irish?
His spouse must not be Irish for him to get a stamp 4. If the Irish son is having an Irish passport, that's enough to get him a stamp 4 under the EU agreement known as Zambrano case. Remember not just Irish born child, but Irish child with passport.

The wait time is something else. We waited 16 months for join family visa and even had to do a DNA test for the whole family of 5 as requested by the embassy

This Bird has a history and significance to me. It immortalised my most memorable and loving motorcycle of all times, The fastest production motorcycle ever made and named after this peregrine falcon in Japanese (Hayabusa).

The Suzuki GSX1300r A.K.A, Hayabusa, is the fastest production bike. It is a beautiful sight to behold most especially the 2nd Generation Hayabusa. It has a great cult followership in the world of motorbikes.

Please has anyone traveled with Emirates from Lagos enroute dublin recently? Did they require a covid 19 test?
Emirates requires a Covid-19 test from the designated laboratories or hospitals listed on their airline website. Anything short than that no work. If you want to avoid the test, use Turkish Airlines

I really don't know with ur UBA bank, but I had GTbank dollar domiciliary corporate account, and I used to withdraw Euros from the ATM then. U cannot withdraw Euro cash from the bank, but u can use ATM and POS terminal. Even your Nigerian ATM card can withdraw money here, but it depends on the max limit set by ur bank. I had Zenith bank naira mastercard and when I went to Ghana I was withdrawing cedis from Ghana Bank ATMs unrestricted

If you have a Nigerian domiciliary account with card, you can use that card anywhere here in Ireland without limitations. The currency conversion is usually done by mastercard or Visa. Irrespective of the preferred currency of ur Nigerian domiciliary account, you can use the ATM card to withdraw as much as u have in the account. No need to cross convert the currency, you will loose value

Once they look at ur carry-on luggage and feels it's over 8kg they will weigh it. Then as for the 2x23kg they are very strict about it, you will pay for any extra gram

Please confirm if Turkish Airlines is coming to Nigeria at the moment before u book. Heard rumors that they suspended Nigeria routes because of the protests. But they remain the best option if they are operating Nigeria routes then. In the absence of that Emirates Airline remains ur best alternative

On this issue, i am going to University College Cork. would the people at the point of entry allow me to quarantine myself in Dublin instead of cork?

2) How did you transport yourself to the place you quarantined yourself? Which is a cheaper means.
Ireland just need you to isolate and avoid contact with public or public services for a period of 14 days. We took a private taxi from the airport, A Volkswagen transporter kind of bus that took us to our location about 30 mins from the airport and charge was about €65.

So you can take a private transportation to Cork or limerick if you can afford it,cos I don't think it will come cheap. Maybe others who have gone to Cork or further south of the republic will tell you how.

Remember there is currently a level 3 lockdown for 3 weeks from past Tuesday night, and movement between counties is prohibited unless it's essential

Your best bet is to rent a temporary apartment in Dublin or environment to observe ur 14 days mandatory isolation. Then after that u can proceed to Limerick. If you get a flight to Shannon, you will pay heavily for it and it may have multiple stops

How do i get the complete location form confirmation email . 2) How did you register for you GNIB is it by paper or online? What were you given to register for it?
Once you book your flight for travel, you will go online and search of Covid-19 locator form for Ireland and the link will pop up. Fill it with your passport and flight details and they will email you a confirmation. That confirmation is very important, you need it to board the flight here and at ur transit point.

I booked my GNIB appointment by email, I will register on 2nd November

Thanks for your write up. When i arrive at the airport, before i can come out of my two weeks quarantine to get a sim card, how can i communicate?

I am about to get a new phone today, will the sim card over there fit in with the space for sim card we have in phones from Nigeria? Or should i just wait and get a phone there with the right sim?Chiggsglover
The sim card is pre-cut already into normal sim, Micro sim and Nano sim. So u have nothing to worry about. Here someone can help u buy a sim while in isolation, it doesn't matter. You can still buy a sim at the Dublin Airport

Stephanie22:
What documents were you told to show at the point of entry? What questions where you also asked at the point of entry? Where you able to use your watsup and your Nigeria sim card to communicate at the airport?
You can buy a Sim card at the Airport in Dublin. Like me I only saw Vodafone sim that day and I needed to make a voice call to who was picking us up. The Vodafone sim costs €25 and will come with 20GB data and 100 minutes local call free within Ireland. When u enter town you can get cheaper networks as cheap a €10-15.

At the Airport, I wasnt asked much questions, I was traveling in company of my 3 kids, I already arranged a plethora of documents in anticipation. The immigration guy just asked me what documents to prove my wife is in Ireland legally. I brought out a copy her critical skills work permit, containing her personal information and workplace information as well as employment permit information. Then I carefully penned down her GNIB number, PPS number and address below the documents. The guy just looked at it and gave it back to me immediately. I was like are u done with it he said yes, he asked for completed locator form confirmation email.
That was it, he stamped my children's passports with a single stamp and marked the entry visas as used. He then stamped my passport with 2 stamps with the second big one stating that I should register with GNIB if I am staying more than 3 months from the date of entry and canceled the visa out as used too. Everything happened in less than 2 mins.

So for study visa, I don't know what u will be presenting but others will answer you. Just maintain your composure and confidence. The day we arrived some 5 people were refused entry into Ireland. Make sure u have the documents handy and not in your checked in luggage.
