STENON:Don't mind them oooh, once their keyboard can type they will continue to bully anyone who doesn't subscribe to their opinion. Ever heard about E-warriors and Cyber bullies? |
joejacobs10:Yes I have researched a lot and my wife lives and works there as a nurse |
Chiggsglover:Not yet, but will soon be |
Chiggsglover:It's our beloved Ireland |
Dwebb55:I think it should be possible, but if it is not, there is a way out. Get an employment and have ur employer apply for General work permit for you. That way you can bring over your family |
seunny4lif:Please I beg to disagree with you on the above point. If your employer filed for CSEP or GEP for you which is valid for two years each, then u are not permitted to take another employment until you have worked one year for that employer. And when you arrive Ireland on these permits you get stamp 1 permission for both. Then after 2 years on CSEP you move to stamp 4, while you have to be on GEP for 5 years to be able to go to stamp 4. Then while you are on stamp 4 which is PR, you are eligible to apply for citizenship after 5 years. Nobody gets stamp 4 by just getting a job from Nigeria. You can only get a stamp 4 on a shorter route if you are married to an Irish or EU citizen legally residing in Ireland. Stamp 3 is for spouses or dependants of Stamp 1(excluding CSEP holder) and stamp 4 holders. Any holder of stamp 3 requires DSEP to work. Spouses of stamp 1 holders under CSEP gets stamp 1G which enables them to work without employment permit. Stamp 2 and 2A are for students and are not part of reckonable residence towards PR Level 8 and 9 graduates gets stamp 1G as post graduate work permit Stamp 1,1G,3 counts towards reckonable residence for PR CSEP = Critical Skills Employment Permit GEP= General Employment Permit DSEP= Dependant/Spouse Employment Permit |
Check for IcasNG that's her moniker |
Please let someone tell them Monday is not July 8th |
Stop spreading fake news Dear OP, Please try to always get your news right and read in between lines before misleading the public. The EU countries failed to agree on a common list of exclusion of entry. But they have a DRAFT list of countries who have handled the pandemic better and a proposition was made with that 54 country list which was rejected by the EU member states. Nothing has been announced yet as per exclusions as negotiations are still ongoing with the EU members meeting in Brussels today(as announced by CNN this morning) So kindly wait till we get official news from the EU meeting after today and we will know if Nigeria was actually excluded but as of now, there is no such thing. Google EU travel updates and u will understand better. https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/draft-list-of-countries-permitted-to-enter-eu-when-borders-reopen-on-july-1/ |
Theblink123:Embassy is reopened. Someone called them today and they confirmed it. They said they are still treating backlog of emails |

faithzy:I don't know about yours but the white slip from VFS global Abuja, has my AVATS number as the Bank receipt number which is in between my passport number and Type of entry. My slip was as at last year July, I don't know what yours looks like. I don't t know how ur visa application fee was paid but mine was cash inside the Vfsglobal there maybe that's why they referenced my bank receipt number as my AVATS number |
BabajhideySammy:Ordinarily once a positive decision is made on your application, it automatically locks your visa for printing at the visa production section, afterwhich they dispatch. But currently they are not printing and dispatching approved visas because of the lockdown. On the white print out, there is AVATS number if you actually know what it looks like. It is written there as Bank receipt number, directly below your passport number. |
Yads97:It's not any easier. There has been serious and Alarming refusals now. But get an agent or someone with plenty of experience to guide you, you could be lucky. |
faithzy:After application there is a summary page before you print. You were supposed to save that page as a draft on your email for future reference. Then if you have white print out check your AVATS number there. It's an 8 digit number that ends with a 2. I was reliably informed that the embassy does not convey the result of visa decision via email. I haven't seen anyone that was informed of a visa approval or refusal via email. (I could be wrong, but I haven't seen) |
faithzy:Embassy won't send you mail. Meanwhile you lost ur AVATS number?,its surprising. There should be an email back up for your completed visa application form. There is a white slip given to you at VFS global that you were supposed to give to UPS courier services to pick up your passport, you lost that too? |
faithzy:Keep checking weekly decision reports, you will see when a decision is made |
BabajhideySammy:Embassy has been closed since then |
faithzy:Check Turkish Airlines and Kenya Airways for Lagos to Dublin on July 10th. It's $605 for one way flight |
faithzy:Hopefully earlier than August. Turkish Airlines, Kenya Airways and other airlines have outbound flights from Lagos as at July 10th |
Greatzeus:I don't know why you are laughing oooh. The dog is pure breed and cheap too. Infact he is selling at a very great discounted price |
Joe111:Wow what a wonderful breed and amazing price. Do you have up to 10 puppies. I have a careless 3.5m to buy dogs |
iceboy4752:Ok |
Kolossus20:Macjebs is very good also. Autojosh does automotive related topics but they are wonderful also |
Twinkletwin:Okay I got to go check him out |
There is no single visa approval for Irish embassy Abuja last week yet again. |
raski04:The guy is amazing with his write ups and presentation |
