chikenice: Is it that pre order on NL is bad ? So Tipple A too has issues,Nigerian used cars is better than pre order o.No pre-order is not bad and Nigerian used cars are not better than American used cars. Once you deal with a credible party for your pre-order deals you won't have an issue. |

MRbrownJAY: kai, see how so many are saying forgive?! for where?!You've made some good points here but are you saying those that advice the OP to forgive her shouldn't have said so? |
Destroy the camera,Forgive your babe and move on with her. She has done a lot for you so don't abandon her at this time. |
ceaser: Na true o. In fact with the popularity she had on Nairaland, I planned to search the internet for her face one of these days just so to satisfy my curiosity.LOL...well again i don't have interest in all these new generational artist atleast non for now so you can never find any of their CD's in my collections not even 1. |
GudluckIBB: Eziachi.pls I'm going to send you a mail tomorrow as well .You guys are genius in deep rooted african songsEziachi has really dug deep. I have no doubt that he's a genius like you rightly said. I appreciate people like him because most people that appreciates African musics as listed on this thread tend to have different lifestyle compared to the hip-pop world. |
ceaser: Tonto ke?! Do I even know the face to that name? I've only been hearing her name on Nairaland. @ the bolded |
Eziachi: I cant tell you how disappoiunted I am with Sir Warriors children, especially Ajuzieogu, who I believe has a great music talent like his papa but they are very lazy gus.Brother that's what is happening these days. Atleast he's recycling the late dad's music rather than joining the new generation hip-pop artist that i do not know what they are singing. You are making me LOL @ Uche pretending to be a singer ![]() |
Eziachi: Lol. you can say that again...Enjoy brother ![]() |
Eziachi: Over indulgence I think killed Jean Baron as with many African musicians. Too much smoking and drinking, endless touring to make ends meet due to piracy of their great works without taking care of their personal health, I think he developed kidney problems and wasn't discovered in time and treated swifly. My fovourite of his tracks are Mamie lolo and Patalon Mariba. I met Arlus Mabele in Paris in 2005, we had been friends since then. He was very sick for a while.May the soul of Jean Baron RIP. That's the album you will find those tracks you mentioned.

onatisi: Isn't this one of the guys that sang -if you chop my money ,I don't care ,because I get am plenty. So he can shout now ,when naija bank chop his money. You dey mind am Na craze dey worry am for head ![]() |
Eziachi: I agreed with you, it's very mucky at the moment, but in the past any music with keyboard is a way of identifying a music that isn't highlife etc. Until Sir Warrior introduced keyboard in 1981 and many Ghana highlife musician based in Aba and Onitsha did too, groups like Ashanti dance band, Okukuseku, City Boys, Mpese Mpese etc.Cool brother and am impressed that am corresponding with someone that has really dig deep into original 100% African music. |
Eziachi: Diblo Dibala is great, especially when he was leading the Loketo franchise along with Arlus Mabele, late Jean Baron. Mack Mackay. There are great guitarist like Lokasa Yabongo, Dally Kimoko, Franco (O.K JAZZ)Great now i confirm that you are well knowledgable about these artist. However do you by any chance know what killed Jean Baron? I have searched for information on that but none. |
Wetin concern us ![]() |
Eziachi: I love your collections too and I had almost every single album of all of them, but they are not highlife. They are Rumba/Soukous in genre terms.@ Eziachi i appreciate your comment. Well it depends on how your classify them but i still see them as highlife but the proper genre as you rightly said is either Soukous,Rumba,Zouk, etc. E.g Koffi Olomide is the King of Rumba,Monique seka and pierette Adams falls under Zouk/soukouss depending on the track played. |
calculusx: I have the above on ground but decide to register it last week for my personal use when peeps that knows next to nothing about Clean Title Vehicles are offering ridiculous price far below landing cost.OP am truly sorry for derailing ooo.. Oga you know people can be very funny when pricing cars and the ride is clean though i don't like Black Exterior. Like i said i will contact you and we'll work out something among all parties to be involved in the proposed deal. |
GudluckIBB: Ok I will send u an e mail address tomorrow.I will have to create one tomorrow and send to you.I'm just been careful of yahoo boys no laptop in nairaland if not I wud have sent my email to u now. Tomorrow I will do justOk no problem...do you know about the Togolese artist Nimon Toki Lala https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xgvHrjSHBRE |
jodeci01: What is "Fast Shipping" ? Do shed light bikohttps://www.nairaland.com/1578415/lightening-fast-ro-ro-vehicle click on that link and you will know what Fastshipping is all about. |
smartchoice: somebody's nemesis catching up with him.....all you Cotonou canvassers don't rejoice yet your day is coming let's finish this inspired m biz first...one by oneGood day Chief Smart ... Cotonou thread na another matter but lets not just go there even though cotonou is some how better in the sense that you will see what you are buying & you have the option to either inspect before paying or pay before inspecting which by that time you will be classified as being foolish but the issue again is the dubious agents that can steal your catalytic converters and other parts before the ride even gets to Nigeria. I have bought several cars through Cotonou but i repeat it's not the best. Patience is an important virtue in a man's life so what pre-order requires is patience and if the individual can be patient for a minimum of 6 weeks,he/she sure will get the best provided the pre-order was done using a credible party. |
phemmy26: A whole lot of people have bad tales about him but choose to keep quiet, my cousin pre - ordered a BMW from him and i must say, it was a terrible experience. when he got the BMW, the car was not in a good shape at all which inspired said it was just spark plugs and it would be fine. There was nothing my cousin did not change in the car. After delivery, the car did not function well, it was not in top shape like he just manage am come deliver am for hin house. He then promised to come pick it up since 2012 and till now he hasnt come ohh....no so hin house far reach...Na wa ooo Cheers Eyop |
calculusx: If you don't mind I can facilitate your order with 0% deposit while Fast Shipping takes care of the shipping when you are ready.Ok Oga will communicate with you cos i have your Glo number. I have been in communication with Fastshipping for sometime now. The pre-order will be before the end of this month by God's grace i.e 2008 Lexus RX350,2012 Mercedes C350 Sports and one other Japanese which i have not gotten a confirmation yet from the potential user. 2015 is around the corner so one must put things in order mobility wise prior to the hike in tarrif. |
ceaser: I have two tracks of Mbilia bel. "Boya ye" and another which I can't remember nowOk that's cool. Mbilia Bel's albums are fantastic as well. She became very famous when she was collaborating with Tabu-Ley/After they married. |
GudluckIBB: Happy sunda bro.pls I don't know if you have djanka diabate with the title Tote.Happy Sunday my brother. Djanka Diabate is from Guinea and a fantastic artist. However i do not have that track. I forgot that my nairaland e-mail address is not accessible so that's why i couldn't PM you. But i want to reveal a secret to you on how you can get any type of music in the world but the rule of the site is that you must be ready to share files with members i.e as you are downloading music from other members, they can as well download the ones you have. If interested, send me your e-mail address and i will e-mail you. You will agree with me that it's very difficult to get Franco alias OK Jazz albums in the open market mostly the very good ones but i was able to get over 100 tracks of that guys music online same with Koffi Olomide. Even when i chatted with him(Koffi Olomide) online and i mentioned some tracks to him he smiled and ask how i got them since am not even in DRC. Most of my musics are gotten online and am up to date. I have no interest in Nigerian music apart from High life that's why you cannot see me buying Tuface,P square,D banj, etc because their music do not last. Imagine OK Jazz that reigned in the 60's,70's,80's and he died 1989 but till date anytime i slot in OK Jazz CD to play, people that knows good music wants to associate with me. |
