Ishilove: You should see Orisumbare, especially that street that leads to the back of the airport. I went with a colleauge to go visit an invalid friend. But the time I left that area, I was wondering why I didn't carry along mountain hiking gear. Simply awful sad

However i know it's not your ride that had issues with ball joints, tie rod, shocks, etc even if it's,you are an importer and exporter of automobiles so no yawa grin grin. calculusx: Eyop: OP thanks for this thread. Fashola's government is concentrating majorly in Ikeja,VI,Lekki and some part of Surulere.

I don't trust any Party,be it PDP or APC. @times I asked whether people living in suburb are different species entirely.
There has never been a week I won't see cars/suvs with a pulled arm or shock absorber because of bad road(dont ask m where I live grin grin). May be I need to start taking pics whenever I come across them.
I'm a Lagosian but we all can't live on the island, there are some roads in Surulere that doesn't need an upgrade but were upgraded leaving roads with urgent attention in some other areas. We need to sleep and have a rethink cos we are all leaders of Today.
@ Calculusx my Oga where you dey live oooh that your shock absorber and arms are pulling off cheesy grin? Well am not saying we should trust PDP either but we need change in Lagos state. You are also very correct about upgrading of roads that never needed any attention all because that's an avenue to siphon money. APC has governed for 8 years, let another party be given an opportunity.

OP thanks for this thread. Fashola's government is concentrating majorly in Ikeja,VI,Lekki and some part of Surulere. APC government has failed Lagos state and some part of the west. A party that is noted for sewing Uniforms for agbero's in Lagos State and causing confusion here and there. What happened in Osun state on saturday was because PDP candidate wasn't credible and the indigenes never wanted him so they voted Aregbesola and not APC because most people are already tired of that party.

I wish people from other areas of Lagos State can as well create threads like this so we can know the rate at which APC government has failed Lagos State. Except PDP doesn't have a credible candidate for the 2015 Election that's when APC will win Lagos state but if not,na osa big time for them. Recently they reversed LASU school fees which to me is their election strategy which will never work for them. We need change in government and that's what will happen come 2015.

MzOma:

Long distance relationship to me is a farce. I have been in it for over 2 years(she resides in Abuja while myself in Lagos) and decided to call it quit when i wasn't getting all that i needed. It entails a lot and i don't think i can go into such relationship again. It's a 50:50 thing but though some people are getting involved in it and getting positive results though the chances are very slim. Your guy might be in the East doing his kwaja and you here in Lagos suffering emotional torture and at the end all your emotional torture turns out to be a bad investment.

If you have the power to carry on,you can go ahead but sincerely it doesn't really worth the trouble when you have numerous guys here in Lagos that you can build up a solid relationship with.

Cheers
Christianity Etc › Re: How A Married Woman Almost Seduced Me - Pastor Adeboye by Eyop: 10:13pm On Aug 10, 2014
bobonicez: During Pastor Enoch Adeboye's sermon on Thursday night at the ongoing 62nd annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye narrated that a high profile woman who was an executive of the West African Examinations Council, WAEC, did everything to seduce him.

According to him, the woman came to him and announced to him that God had told her that he would be her husband, and immediately he rebuked her, saying “you know that I am happily married and have children.” That didn’t deter the woman who continued to pester him, and even came to the camp to threaten him, saying “if you stand on my way to marrying this man, I will kill you.”

Pastor Adeboye took the matter to then Inspector General of Police who immediately invited the woman and her husband to his office and after a meeting banned the randy woman from entering the Redemption Camp or ever making passes at the man of God.

“But that measure didn’t stop her. I travelled to London without telling anybody, to work on the church’s devotional, Open Heaven. As soon as I settled down in the room, the telephone rang and the voice at the other end said: “welcome to London. I am coming in 15 minutes,

The cleric continued, wondering why his audience responded with a laughter.Continuing, he said he told the voice:

“You don’t know anything, you know that the Police in London are very efficient and if you dare come here, I will call the Police for you.” There is a Police station a few meters from where I am staying and she must have known that because she didn’t come but kept calling me.“I cried to God Who told me ‘You know of the scripture that says, whatever you bind on earth is bound in heaven.’ Believe me honestly, unless God helps, there are things you cannot handle on your own,

He stated, urging the large crowd to stand and pray with holy anger:

“Anyone hindering my progress, before this month is over, Holy Spirit send down Your fire to consume them”.

Gboliwe: By nairaland policy, OP doesn't have any right sef to say close or not close. For Christ's sake, this is a public forum. He didn't buy any special space to create this thread. It isn't his but for the community. That's why I mentioned the admin. He should take a look at this. No reason why the thread should be closed. 10years down the line (I believe nairaland will keep growing) people should learn and be able to discuss here.
Well, i don't know what Nairaland policy states but if it categorically states that threads cannot be closed as per demand from the OP then no problem. I am more concerned about deleting because this thread is an eye opener for people who may want to pre-order now or in future..
