I have been a writer on this section for over three years now and it is regretful to say that the section has been left to degradation.

Writers have now migrated to the romance and sexuality sections in order to get more readers and appreciation for their works.

What crime did we commit in here that our works can't grace front page anymore? All we beg for is a little recognition especially for the hardworking, upcoming writers here. It just isn't fair.

I think the blame falls on the mod in charge, he probably needs assistance and that's why I am advocating for literary inclined, passionate contributors from this section to help out.

I hereby nominate Divepen1 for Mod/asst. Mod for Lit. Section and Llaykorn mod for poetry section.

Both members have been dedicated to this section for years now... And have shown a passion for literature and poetry.

I have been in talks with them and they have agreed to do their best to revamp the section.

A choice!

All we’ve got to give is a “choice”. A close observation will reveal how low the so-called Nollywood movies have descended. Yet, an average Nigerian will spend hours watching it but groan about 30 minutes he spent reading. It’s because they want to be entertained, we all want to, but when they cannot get what they want in the prints, they submit to screen work.

We are going to give them a choice by redirecting their attention to the prints.

We are going to do this by giving them exactly what they want to read just the way they want it.

Our people are craving for local stories; those prepared from local ingredients, garnished with the flavour of everyday’s life and served on Nigerian background. I am talking about stories that are potent enough to hold even writers spellbound.

I love the sound of the noise you're making. I'm in Lagos too but, among other things, I don't think I'll suit your ideas cos i'm merely a writer with only one published book. So as some would say ....... 'thou art an amateur'

i understand. i will try to post as much of the story here as possible although i am, like all writers worried of plagiarism [theft of my work].
you can also download and read the book via a computer or even with your phone do online reads, both websites i mentioned have have library capacity meaning you choose a book and send it to your library for reading at pleasure. However, a computer is best in your circumstance.

I am a DIE HARD,comic book,manga,cartoon and anime fan. A few years back,i started nuturing the idea of making a comic book under the super hero genre(sorry to use this word)and with a "naijacentric" view,do u think its gonna do well in the market with adequate marketing strategy
