Ivory leopard from Benin, 19th Century AD, Nigeria, in the British Museum, London. (One of my favourite). This looks comparable to A. Egyptian tables.

Brass helmet mask for the Ododua ritual.

The headdress on this bronze looks similar to Oka (Awka) women's head dresses.

By the way can you describe the ethnic make-up of Delta and Rivers state, two core south-south states?
did ojuku conduct a referendum to know if the ijaws, urhobos, and other tribes really want to secede from Nigeria ? Who are the representatives of the ijaw, itsekiris, urhobos that gave the go ahead to declare a republic of biafra ?
What part of Biafra were the Urhobo and Itsekiri in?
So because of the population,Ibos get to decide for the other minorities even without their consultation and approval for such agenda ? How did he bring them to accept the biafran struggle since they are not ibos ?
How is the dominating factor of ibo over the other minorities to chose for them different from what the core north is doing to the north central region ?
Which northerner knows what an Ibibio is? Biafra wasn't about Igbo people it was about the former eastern region who thought they would do better on their own. Who forced Effiong to be second in command?

TravelRe: In Pictures Fashola Inspects Trains, Facilities For Lagos Light Rail In Canada by ezeagu(m): 10:21pm On May 17, 2011
It doesn't make a difference if the carriages are used, they can easily be replaced with newer trains, the important thing is the tracks are maintained regularly. I can't say I'm not worried for Lagos as well.

Mariory:
Nope. It's not on the front page because after 2 posts you've turned it into an Igbo thread because Nigerians (who happen to be Igbo) are featured in the video. That basically killed any incentive for further discussion outside of your nairaland click. You know yourselves.
Sorry, are there no threads promoted to the front page which highlight Nigerians, but where their ethnicity was mentioned?

The immigration laws need to be addressed if they want to send over people in thousand to Nigeria, anyway, what would Nigeria do? huh

Another Ijele mask. They are rare and are supposed to come out once every 10-20 years.
