chat2deen:Are you serious that a Major, a junior field officer commands a Brigade of the Nigerian army. If this is true, how then do we expect the army to flush out BH if a Major who should be commanding a company now commands a Brigade, not even a Battalion. Its not possible. NA is not that under-staffed. A major can't command a Brigade. There are 3 brigades under the command of the 7th Infantry Division: 21st, 22nd and 23rd Brigades. I researched on their OCs, especially the 21st Brigade whose AOR is Maiduguri, all I saw was Brigadier Generals as OCs and another Brid. Gen as acting GOC. Pls name the Brigade so that I'll narrow my research. I don't bliv the NA can take the risk of allowing a Maj lead a Brigade in the NE. Prove me wrong, Bro. |

chat2deen:A proper battalion is made up of atleast 3 majors. Its not proper then to use a Major to command other Majors. Though Majors are also appointed as 2nd I/C of a battalion, but are promoted to Lt Col before they can assume full command of a battalion. Important figures in a battalion headquarters include: *. Commanding officer(CO) (invariably a lieutenant colonel) *. Second-in-command(2i/c) (Major) *. Adjutant(captain) *. Quartermaster(QM) (major) *.Quartermaster (technical) (QM(T)) *.Medical officer (MO) ( Royal Army Medical Corpscaptain or major) *.Administrative officer ( Adjutant General's Corpscaptain or major) *. Padre( Royal Army Chaplains Departmentchaplain 4th or 3rd class) *.Intelligence officer (IO) (lieutenant) *.Signals officer (lieutenant) *. Regimental sergeant major(RSM) ( warrant officerclass 1) *. Regimental quartermaster sergeant(RQMS) (warrant officer class 2) *.Regimental quartermaster sergeant (technical) (RQMS(T)) (warrant officer class 2) |
Mecoy:U mean a Lt commanding a Bridgade? A brigade is the 2nd largest military unit after a Division, the only unit capable of independent operations. A Col, but sometimes a General, precisely Brigadier General commands a Brigade, . Do you know how many ranks and years between Lieutenant and Brigadier General? Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Lt Col, Colonel, then BG. That is about 24 yrs. Am sowie it not possible, unless we are talking about corruption. U didn't even say Lt Col. Maybe he is a Lieutenant, commanding a company of a Battalion in that Brigade, or independent company in the Brigade (not under a Battalion). |
willibounce1:A zinco just reported to duty, dragging IPOB into their madness and #Biafraphobia #pathetic |
Nnamdi Azikiwe? Another Owelle? I don't know him. Tell me about Ojukwu or Kanu and I'll listen attentively. #Thanks |
Kudos |
Impressive. Good for Ibadan. I still prefer MyEnugu, any day, any time. Am madly in luv with the serenity. |
SAINTSAMURAI:Atleast it can pay salaries. The North, SE and SS each has atleast 2 big media houses, but why is it that of all the media houses, it was a Yoruba owned media that reported negatively? When we saw SR, we were not surprised. A zinco can do anything. |
omenka:U are the one been stupid. Give the guy a break. The NASS is a House of Assembly just the same way Abia State House of Assembly is. Both are houses of assembly. Since the news is on the NASS, even a daft knows he is talking about the Nation's Assembly House, not that of any state. |
Metallurgist:You just called me an idiot. No shaking. For the record, am not talking abt steam engine. I guess u didn't go through my previous post before typing this. Am talking abt an internal combustion engine. U don't have to insult to make a point. What you don't knw, you don't knw. you claim to be a metallurgist but I guess you can't construct a simple block engine. U can't even get the correct alloy that can withstand the amount of heat generated in the combustion chamber, as well as the pressure exerted on the walls of the chamber by the gas. Next time u criticise, make sure u are properly informed. |
kayfra:No engine is 100% efficient. U don't need that mch energy to split water into the constituent elements. Again, it wasn't hydrogen that we combusted. Yeah, we lost some energy through heat, but the engine holds potential, than we even anticipated. Am impressed. U are an intelligent fellow. |
kayfra:Steam engine is an external combustion system. The rushing steam into the cylinder is what moves the piston. But what am talking abt is internal combustion. Water is converted into an inflamable gas a spark plug ignites. The burning gas in a combustion chamber expands, thereby pushing down the piston. You knw steam is not combustible, it can't burn. Rather you convert it into form that can be ignited by a spark plug. I know about steam engine. Am not talking abt the shouting, smoking giant dinosaur. Am talking abt an internal combustion system. |
kayfra:it is a classified research, so don't expect me to be elaborate. To drive an engine with water, we try to mimic a petrol engine. You know petrol is able to power an engine becos it is volatile, it evaporates at any temporate. This gas is then collected in a chamber where it is combusted under pressure. The expansion of the gas is what pushes the piston down, to a mechanical movement. So to simulate this with water, then you have to convert water to gas. The question now is, is it possible to convert water into gas? Yeah. We converted water into 2 different gases. Luckily for us, one of the gas was combustible. So we combusted the two gases under great pressure, and luckily for us again, it expanded. This expansion can push down a piston to 180%. But the challenge now is, how do we get the other 180% degree? We were working on that when the programme was shut down. Believe me, one day, engine will run on water. I'll be mch happier if we can generate electricity from it. To me, it will be easier to generate electricity from water than using it to propel an automobile. But how mch electricity in MW can it generate. That is what I don't know. |
What is more painful is not that US ridiculed us, but rather seeing Zombies celebrate this insult. US don't even need 6 laptops to compromise our 'secret system'. Whatever secret they need is already on open source. |
Ritchiee:Sometimes I wonder why pple sometimes become unnecessarily mischievous. I'll only reply your claim of Yorubas controlling 70% of ICT in Nigeria. The Yorubas are trying but shouldn't arrogate to themselves 70% because they are miles away from it. Let me bust ur bubble with 2005 statistics. But lemme help you with SystemSpec alone. As of 2016, SystemSpec is the best software company in Nigeria. But do you who their Lead Software Engineer is? Uchenna Okpagu, while Joshua Ochoge is their Senior Java Developer. I just used the software industry as a case study. The fact that almost all Software companies are in Lagos doesn't mean the Yorubas owe them. Most of them are owned by the Igbos. Nigeria was systematically skewed to make the Eastern companies dependent on Lagos. When u talk abt print media, we as well make wave. As of 2016, Igbos owe: The Authority, Mirror founded by Obasi now acquired by Jimoh, the Telegraph (Nwuke), Sun, Daily Champion, Bussiness Hallmark, Complete Sports, The Awareness, ThisDay, Daily Times, and host of others. Of all the whole print media in the country, The Sun is the best and largest selling paper with 80% sales. Disembark from your ignorance. Thanks |
kayfra:Am not talking about ionic liquid. Am talking abt an entirely new process. |
mrvitalis:Am not even talking about fusion and am not also talking abt the sea water hydrogen isotope. Am talking abt a different nuclear reaction. Yeah, talking abt using water as a fuel. You are right. But am not talking abt that 'cause it aint combustible. But you can convert water to a combustible form. Then can generate thermal energy from there. You don't even need nuclear reaction to achieve this. Bro you can generate thermal energy from water. It is a fact. Using either nuclear reaction or the process above. Do you know how hydrocarbon engine works? You put petrol into the engine. Petrol is volatile when exposed. It evaporates at any given temperature. The evaporated gas is combusted in a combustion chamber when a plug is sparked. You know when gas is combusted, it expands. So this combustion will cause the evaporated combusting gas to expand thereby causing the piston to a mechanical movement. Am aware u know all this 'cause u are a mechanical engineer. But do u know water can satisfy the same scenario pointed above? Anything is possible bro. Don't underrate ur mind. |
amzee:Ok. Thought u are an Ab.oki. |
mrvitalis:It is really very possible. For the past few years, I have been part of a team researching on a hydro powered engine. We aint interested in the water, but the constituent elements of water. We are interested only in the Hydrogen and oxygen. Splitting Hydrogen can release an unimaginable quantum of energy. Harnessing the released energy requires a huge and complex infrastructure. The infrastructure might not be reducible to fit into an automobile. To deal with this, a new approach will be adopted. Convert the water into gas and combust the gas in a combustion chamber with another inflamble gas gotten from splitting water. The problem now is, it takes time to combust the gas to the temp capable of causing the gas to expand. Its this expansion that causes the piston to a mechanical movement. Another limitation is that u need a lot of water to cause this mechanical movement. For me, I think we should just forget abt water powered automobile engine and concentrate on the possibility of generating electricity from hydrogen. Then return to the former later. One day, energy will definitely be gotten from water. When that happens, I just want SE to lead in that technology. My dream is a city powered by energy gotten from splitted hydrogen. Just imagine a city powered by water, submarines and ships sailed on water. It is possible. It will happen one day. The only thing u need is the infrastructure. Hydrogen energy is another version of nuclear energy. Don't say it is not possible. Where two or more Igbomen gathers, anything is possible. If we can build advance land mines and anti aircraft projectile from just broken bottle and stones. Then what is in this. GoodLuck to Emeka. |
Oga restrict that ur clamp down to Turkey. 'Cause here in Nija, we aint closing down any sch, unless u Turks are willing to pay the taxes and salaries those schs inject into our already battered economy. Anyway, I trust @MBuhari on this. |
koboko69:And u bring Biafra into ur madness. Why not make ur point without involving Biafra. Change ur brown roof and thank me later. |
amzee:Ur saint shouldn't have tempered with the people's choice. You don't impose mandate on candidate. The people gives mandate. Aboki, bring ur saints to order. |
Thanks Kanu. Don't ask me why? Anyway, I can see the hating haters (Afonjas) here. Who cares. |
YourNemesis:Change your brown roof and thank me later. |
Firefire:Congrat. Do u know why u are so stupid? 'cos you and superstar1 dragged the Igbos again into ur madness. Can't you celebrate your decade here without being stupid and tribal. Anyway, I don't blame you, but rather the ewedu and amala u sniff into ur nose every morning. If you like write ur ass off, we know who are the victim of hate in this country and Nairaland in particular. The height of that hate was in prelude to the 2015 election. No one dictates to us who to vote. We are too sophisticated to be ordered around by one old man, we are too sophisticated to play the politics of myopism, too be subjected under the bondage of one party, a family property. By nature we are democratic, republican and egalitarian and we aint slave to any family. SE is the only region where the four major parties hold sway. This is the true definition of sophistication. We vote based on merit, and Jonathan was the best candidate for the 2015 election. It was our resolve, yet the yorubas brought their hatred into 2015 election accusing us of being an enemy of the state just becos we refused to slave around like them, cos we refused to be part of this country's woes. The reality of that ill decision is staring them on the face. Do I need to mention the level of hate they exhibited as a result of our collective resolve to have this country restructured? Do I need to mention how the cheer each time a pro-Biafran falls to the cruel barrel of the state in cold-blood? How the cheered each time the new govt made an appointment excluding the SE? Yet ignored in the same appointment. How they pull out statistics from their asses any time the SE recorded a milestone. Do I need to mention their hatred for innoson? Flooding the internet with pictures of Proforce becos innoson designed a brake for the airforce, that their almighty defence company can't. How they fumed with hate when Cross River State govt patronised 200 Innoson trucks, going as far as twitter calling Innoson products substandard and fake. How a yoruba journalist flooded Facebook with the picture of an Hausa murdered in the North by insurgent claiming such act happened during a peaceful protest in Aba, urging the North to a reappraisal. How their monarch threatened genocide during election. Hatred is too them what food is to us. So we aint surprised. So firefire, get ur records straight. Like His Eminence Sanusi rightly said, the Yorubas brought tribalism into Nigeria. So concentrate on ur ewedu and stop spewing rubbish here. And don't forget to change ur brown roof. Its no longer good for health. Change ur brown roof and thank me later. It cures Afonjaism. Once again, CONGRAT. #Viva |
I love IgboLand. I luv Biafra |
Thanks @MBuhari for not signing that padded budget. @APCNigeria is an embarrassment. Can @MBuhari, the @NGRPresident go after those looters. I guess he won't, cos they are progressives, they are saints. I blame #Change. I blame the #Afonjas |
AjaanaOka:Thanks for understanding. |
Deatheater:I love that. Keep it up. |
AjaanaOka:Bende LGA. Abia North. This is the farthest I can state. Bear with me. |
YourNemesis:400BC Lol. According to recorded History, Oduduwa was an exiled Bini Prince, unless u are rewriting the history urself. Ife was only settled in the 4th century BC, by people who were not originally Yorubas. Some centuries later, Oduduwa met them there and established his kingdom there. History said so. U ended ur trash by insulting our sacred Empire, but I won't return the insult. Do you know aside Nri, no other Igbo enclave had King, but rather a council of respected titled men presided over the affairs of the community and non of them had the power to maintain any standing army. Each of the community had autonomy, egalitarian, democratic and republican. While each community has unlimited power in their respective internal affairs, Nri presided over external affairs, including relations and trade and doesn't interfer in the internal affairs of the constituting communities. Ezenri influence was felt all over Igboland as the custodian and wielder of the sacred Ofor Igbo. He was a Priest-King descendant of Heaven. That is why Igbo kings are called 'Igwe' meaning 'Heaven'. Not just a priest-king, but a spirit, a living dead. In fact, when a new King was identified, his wife and family will start mourning for him. A new king isn't just installed, but must have to first manifest the signs of Heaven, as all Ezenris have the mandate of Heaven to rule. Therefore between the death of an Ezenri and the crowning of a new king, there was alwz a lag. Ezenri was and remains a sacred King. Nri was a confederal empire preceeding the founding of Bini Empire by 232 yrs. |

...lol, at what age did he become king? And he didn't die from the one million and one things that could have killed an African at that time....Okay sure. .... lol, how is that possible Mr? unless of course the dates are totally Wrong.... you are the one who should be using your grey matter here.
