Christianity EtcRe: David Ibiyeomie: If You Are Paid To Play Drums In Church, You'll Never Get Rich by ezer(m): 11:39pm On Jul 01
Mariangeles:
What a harsh thing to say.

Yet, Jesus Christ said to His disciples the labourer is worthy of his hire.

"...you will never get rich"? If men were God...

Like I've stated before; if you're a Christian, get to know the Word of God for yourself, to avoid being swayed here and there with all kinds of teachings.
You are getting it wrong. Playing drums in church is the same as serving in the ushering unit, cleaning unit, children's unit and any other unit in the church. These are voluntary services whereby those involved have their different jobs aside being church workers. However, there are paid services amongst the listed units. If a drummer decides to go in for full time, the church will have to pay. You guys should understand the dynamics of certain things before drawing conclusions abeg.....no be rocket science

Meanwhile, I heard that their state assembly didn't confirm four commissioner nominees of the state Governor, probably because he didn't get their oga's permission before nominating them
The state assembly's rejection of commissioner nominees has nothing to do with Fubara or Wike. The nominees performed badly. If they had cleared them, there would have been a backlash on the assembly. The governor and the minister will need to intervene on their behalf else they've lost it.

Wrong choice of words.

However even efo riro, okea soup, and egusi soup( prepared well with plenty vegetable) are tastier than owoh soup.

Banga is just palm oil.

Be guided
If you like, list the different types of soup you know, that's not the issue. This thread is about the myth of ogwho soup so if you want to criticize be objective about it, not calling it rubbish. It speaks a lot about your IQ. You even had to drag banga soup to it trying to make it an ethnic thing. Be guided...

You prefer Afang, Atama, etc. probably because they are your native soup. However, that doesn't give you the right to refer to ogwho and banga soup as rubbish. Be guided

The information about Rivers is incorrect. I just bought gas today around my area Eliozu for 1,350 per kg. When I went to NNPC last week I bought it for 1,250 per kg
Exactly.

Restopark sells for 1,250 per kg. 12kg is 15k, I don't know where they got the stat from. I'm very sure the prices tagged on other states are incorrect.
PoliticsRe: Top 10 Nigerian States With The Highest Cooking Gas Prices In April 2025 by ezer(m): 4:15pm On Jun 26, 2025
Wrong stats....I bought the same 12kg on Tuesday at Restopark in Port Harcourt for 15k. The gas station close to my office sells for 16800. I heard some gas stations sell for 13k plus. The price varies between 13 and 16k plus, not the 22k or whatever that is written on the stat.

I believe most of these stats are contributions from one or two persons. Very misleading...

HealthRe: Confused And Heartbroken: My Son Was Diagnosed With Sickle Cell Anemia by ezer(m): 9:08pm On May 16, 2025
You don’t have to divorce your wife and destroy your beautiful family. I’m sure you can handle it.

I’m not a health professional but I know caring for a child with sickle cell disease requires careful attention to their health and well-being which includes ensuring that your child receives regular check-ups with healthcare providers knowledgeable about sickle cell disease. Secondly, the child should stay well hydrated at all times and should be fed with healthy and balanced diets. Thirdly, ensure the child’s vaccination is up to date. Also learn all the factors that can trigger a sickle cell crisis so that you can take precautions. In all, love your child and educate him about the disease when the time comes.

If you want to have other kids, like someone said up there, it’s achievable to eliminate the risk of getting an SS but it’s expensive. IVF with PGD will eliminate that risk completely. If you are not buoyant enough you can do prenatal testing (I don’t recommend this because if the fetus is SS, it will lead to multiple abortions) or consider adopting.

Just be strong and visit a counsellor.

I late discovered that when he was performing his good work in office,

P sec to an instructor. Hmmm mm
If he actually won the best public servant award, on what criteria was he given the award, and on what criteria was he demoted to an instructor? Politics is a game of chess, and the permsec fell victim. This country is really confused...

bankyblue: Ask the minister, he knows every thing about it
My thoughts...

It said that Sheik Goni Musa was moved from the Ministry of Petroleum Resources to the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation.

Perm. Sec. to Instructor, am sure GEJ signed this document when he was high.

The video never confirmed the boys to be cultist. Stop this nonsence conspiracy. If your room mate or friend was killed by cultist, does that make it right for this innocent young men to also be lynched in dis gory manner?. You are evil. Your own day of KARMA is coming.
