Was there any team called Chelsea in Nigeria? |
When they are really set, no one should actually have a sniff of it until they are done. We will only hear about their triumph. The night the American seal went in and got Bin Laden only few in the inner circle knew until it was done and dusted. Nigeria army often sounds like those folks that announces that they are taking off their shirts in preparation for a fight. |
SeverusSnape:Thank you. |
Those are not youths, they are grown men and women. Youth leader- age 52 (in Nigeria) |
SeverusSnape:I know. If one can stoop as having him as governor, nothing else matters , including any id.io.t throwing stones in Katsina. |
SeverusSnape:How much low can one stoop for just having Fayose as your governor? |
PointB:Yes, by school certificate I meant O'Level WASC, WAEC, GCE what are there equivalent the constitution is talking about? Does JAMB has the equivalent sub clause of what qualifications represent an equivalent of school certificate? I have asked few people I know, non has given me a unique answer. That's why I threw it open here. Because I know someone now running for Senate in Imo state that I knew very well that he never went to secondary school. I was wondering the equivalent he was using? |
citizenY:Good, but what do you call this equivalent? |
frankyychiji:I will take it that you don't know. |
PointB:Because it's not directly centered on Buhari, but I had been wondering what constitute an equivalent of School certificate? What do you think constitute an equivalent of a school certificate? Over to you. |
Sorry I have to disagree. While academic brilliance is important, it not all that be all you require in life to succeed. What Buhari and Richard Branson or Alan Sugars of this world has shown is, no matter your level academic education, with hard work, effort and determination, you can become whatever you wish to become. Nigeria is still lagging far behind in technical and skillful knowledge because of too much emphasis on academic achievement. That is why you have engineers that cannot hang a curtain, professors as special assistant to the local government chairman. By the way, failing one or two subject out of many doesn't not qualify as an academic failure. |
No you won't. The cost of land is between the seller and buyer, between supply and demand, between willingness to sell and willingness to buy at an agreed price between both parties. You can promise to reduce the bureaucracy surrounding the buying and selling of land coming from government red tape, not the cost the land. |
I would nominate City & Guild (Private or Public) |
The Nigeria constitution is very clear on the issue of qualification. It states that you are qualified to be a President if you have achieved the level of school certificate or its equivalent. My question to both camps and neutral is: What are the equivalent of a School Certificate? |
tbaba1234:My argument from day one. You needed school certificate to go to Sandhurst. Assuming for reasons all these army colleges where done abracadabra, it means then that Buhari is not only a magician but an academic genius having passed what most with diploma often fail. End of argument. |
philips70:I must agree with you, it so boring now that I had to repeat myself. There is nothing left in their tank of personal attacks on their opponent. It started to sound like a one hit wonder musicians. It's started to sound like England and 1966 world cup |
taharqa:You don't know because non of you hardly ever pays attention. Buhari said he has apply for copy from his results from his old school and never mentioned Cambridge. Even if he approach Cambridge, they will equally do the exact what Katsina College did. What Cambridge has told you was how it's done in a civilized world, that you do not give information about anyone to a secondary person like an exam results unlike the Nigeria army that read out the results without consulting the person. Cambridge can only confirmed about Hausa language issue because it a general enquiry that is not pertinent to a particular person. This was because many Nigerians had approached them, probably the same people who were shouting WAEC few days ago without knowing that, there was no such institution called WAEC in the 60s. |
Greatihex:Certificates are universally offered once. The least Cambridge can do for you is to sent a certified copy of exactly what Katsina School has done with their letters head. That is what a legal declaration a.k.a affidavit is there for. Yesterday, I read with bemusement so many of the so called educated stating as a fact that Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo languages wasn't part of subject course by 1960. Because of politics people's thrown their brain, consciences to the dogs. I can't wait for this election to be over. |
CHM11:1. Because the rule allowed an affidavit in the event of no physical copy available. 2. Why did you think INEC has no issues with him and and asked you to go to court if knew what they don't? 3. Why do you think PDP not in court till now and as a citizen why are you not in court? |
diluminati:I never at anytime had any problem with Buhari's ascent. I actually like the way Buhari speaks, ie he does not speak very fast or shout as most Nigerians when he speak. Fast pace often led to so many spoken errors and he tend to choose his words very careful, which is a good manners of speech to have when you are a public figure, because all your words are carefully scrutinized. I believed that Jonathan made an error in the heat of the moment because of the tempo of his speaking. You obviously has every right to think different. |
Mayor21:Of course you would think so. But if the same scenario is repeated in the north, I bet you would equally believe in the same truth? ![]() |
In this era of show us your certificate and show us your PHD research thesis, Op please kindly show us the audio transcript of your conversation or forget it as forgery. Even the most fool know that Jonathan will win in Rivers State but no longer with 99% Saddam Hussein version of voters turn out. I think that is what APC strategy is for both SS/SE is, to prevent the 2011 version of a landslide. |
idumuose:I did not know Tinubu was running. Same way Jonathan and OBJ cannot see eye to eye but he visited him to his daughter's wedding. |
Come on! He misspoke, slip of tongue. We all make mistakes. He would have said, am sorry and quickly corrected himself. But I don't think he even realized that he has made a mistake in the heat of the moment. |
Duru1:Do changed the line of history with conspiracy theories. We knew why they were furious. That our boys killed their god- Ahmadu Bello. |
TheFreeOne:The problem is not Buhari, the problem is you and me from the south that looked down on northerners. With attitude like, you wonder why hate us. The certificate saga is a bid to humiliate the very one they regardless as their hero. Obasanjo tried his luck with Ikemba to humiliate Ndigbo but we refused to give him the satisfaction. |
APContherun:It's not a mess, it political self motivated mess, it could be you tomorrow. |
TheFreeOne:So he has a principal now? Last week and the week before, it was that he never saw the four walls of school at all, let alone passing or will pass. |
Ben Gbulie should not join the bandwagon but tell the kids the truth. This is the sort of story we are used to when we are kids, that Hausa's are all illiterates, that at the London constitution conference , Ahmadu Bello and Balewa cannot write their own names and Zik had to hold their hands to write it with them. That when tea and bread was served them, that they asked Zik whether they should dunk the bread in the tea or eat or eat the bread and drink the tea separately and Zik told them in Hausa while pretending to be praying. And finally Zik hold the key to the River Niger, if he ever get angry he will turn it off. By the time Buhari joined the army, teachers in the north were mostly the British and the Igbos. Most of the civil service post were occupied by Ndigbo until the 1966 fracas. The same with the army, it was the Igbos and the Yorubas that dominated the army when the British left. If he now is saying that Buhari got a preferential treatment, so southerners granted him such they could not grand their own people? This is why I don't and will never believe the workability of one Nigeria, because of all these lies crooked politicians and so called elders tell young kids and they will grow up with them and believing them and it will continue to shape their thoughts. I am sure Its the same they tell them in the north too about us. |
ceo4eva:How do you manage this? You were posting picture of Jonathan live from Ebonyi, Enugu, Akwa Ibom and few others places and today you are in Makurdi. How is that physically possible and what do you do for a living? Nothing malicious thing intended, I am just curious. |
Caseless:It doesn't matter what their grievances were, the fact remains that the so called groups all over the place are just money making scheme for greedy and jobless individuals. Its like friends that come together to enjoy isiewu and palm wine calling themselves Ohaneze, who often make statement saying that Igbos people said this or that. When did we make them out representatives? |
