He was deposed few years ago by the Okorocha's government for his alleged direct involvement in partisan politics and his Obinugwu community in Orlu not Owerri has since appointed another traditional ruler. How can he have a palace in Owerri when he is from Orlu?

I still remember holidaying back home in the 80s, just few months before the presidential election and there was a news flash during the NTA network news, announcing the death of Dr Azikiwe. To the shock of every one.

Before the end of the news bulletin, all sorts of condolence messages were pouring in mainly from the NPN hierarchy.
Within minutes, they were setting up burial committees of all sorts and euloging him. In fact K.O Mbadiwe made himself the chairman of the committee and start issuing press statements within minutes through this same medium because they own the NTA.
But non of them even bothered to contact Zik's family, the Onitsha Monarch household who should announce the death of an Owelle or the governments of Imo, Anambra or Plateau controlled by his party NPP.

Unlike today were no one controlled the media as much, it took whole of the next day for the world to realize that Zik was alive and kicking and was also privileged to hear his own obituary read as he was watching the news that evening like every other person.

The next day while addressing a world press conference in Enugu, Zik claimed that he knew the elements within the NPN behind his fake supposed death. The calls for an inquiry to find out who was behind it was rebuffed by the Shagari/Ekwueme's government
Most people were pointing fingers then at Mark Okoye, Chuba Okadigbo and Uba Ahmed as those behind it.
An angry looking Zik then said that all those wishing him death will hopefully rip whatever they were wishing him.
Every time I looked at PDP they reminds me the old NPN. How can any human being with conscience wished cancer on anyone even to your worst enemy just because of politics?
And these people and their herd of supporters will tomorrow go to their damned churches or mosques on Friday praying to some gods with the same wicked lips.

Orji Jr who is a PDP candidate for Umuahia East for the state House of Assembly, said he would adopt mothers in his state constituency as his vehicle for campaign alongside the youths.
Following what he had done for the people in the past he said, his constituents had urged him to go. It's called the family affair and these are the people that you curse for, argue for or even ready to die for.

I'm one of the few who can proudly say, 'i was there, live! '. I went there for some reasons :
^ 'cos I don't usually miss epoch making events.(I actually traveled down from PH this morning to be part of the event'
^ To see the 'clueless one' myself
^ To see what a massive political gathering looks like and what it entails
^ To see for myself if PDP can pull a massive crowd and commands followership.
All in all, I can say it was worth the while. The turn out was mega-massive. The crowd outside the stadium was more than that inside the 5000 capacity stadium. And finally, Ebonyi is firmly in PDP's hands.(NB, I was also @the. Buhari rally in Ebonyi and tbh, APC stands no chance, not even half in this state.

Very balanced report in my opinion.
Even an unborn child knew that Jonathan will win handsomely in the SE and SS. But opposition hope or strategy is, if they can stop the 98% turn out of last time, because that was where the election was rigged and lost.

They will hope that the likes of Amaechi, Rochas can stop that even by 20% that will make a huge difference, not because they hoped in hell to win.
If Buhari get 15% from both zones rerespectively I think that they will count it as a huge success when compared to 2011.

The same with Jonathan in the north, if they can reduce the opposition lead significantly but takes reasonable amount of vote, that's a success especially in Jigawa, Sokoto, Niger, Yobe and Kaduna. The crisis in the NE is to their advantage.

If all these people are really smart and in reality likes and supports the candidacy of Jonathan, they should shut up about this religious fundamentalism nonsense.
It won't work and it aren't working. It is rather costing their flagbearer so many votes, if they had not noticed.
