Tolexander: am less concern with that. All i know is they carried out their duty.
Well, realities of life dictates that not all duties ever performed worth or deserved a reward. And this is shaping to be just one of them, Sir.

gbadexy: This life is funny.
When they were young and in service, they behave like demi gods, treat and look down on "bloody civilians".
When they get old and out of service they now start looking for sympathy.
I wish the ones in service would look at the older colleagues and learn about the transience of youth and power but alas its a cyclic phenomenon.
They must be sweating blood, each night when NEPA allows them to see NTA news watching those bloody civilians they use to flog on the street swimming in cash. grin grin grin grin

Tolexander: Won't believe there were conscriptions into the nigerian army during the civil war cos i think the soldiers were sufficient enough to force the region back to the the geographical circuit of Nigeria.
Things are needed to be done to this cos they risked their life to make the country stand and that was their major assignment unlike the football players that still have a personal assignments with their clubs.
Don't kid yourself. They risked their lives and wasted life of others just to make paupers like IBB, obj, Abiola, Abacha, Adenuga, Chris Uba, Otedola, Danjuma and Ibori of one Nigerian world billionaires.
PoliticsRe: Will U Vote Buhari/rochas Ticket (progressives Only)? by Eziachi: 11:16pm On Feb 14, 2013
Its funny that after all these once suppressed hateful opinions, especially between One Nigerian Yorubas and Igbos, they will still use the same mouth talking, even preaching about a future for this charade called Nigeria.
I can't thank internet enough, because it has open the window for people to see the reality of what is a true Nigeria they don't see on the TV or hear on the radio and on the streets too, but as well, a dinner usually served behind close doors, even among those ruling class that had enslaved them for 50+ years now.
Its so hilarious!
PoliticsRe: Will U Vote Buhari/rochas Ticket (progressives Only)? by Eziachi: 9:12pm On Feb 14, 2013
GAR3TH: The point of a presidential ticket is to choose the candidates with the best skills, knowledge, experience and accolades that will lead the country to prosperity. Citing Buhari just because he is popular makes no sense, especially when you have other candidates in the party that have better leadership skills and have a recorded of good governance and development. Buhari is obsolete so it puzzles me why people keep mentioning him when there are better candidates. Mentioning Buhari just makes APC look desperate to take over power. they rather win based on popularity rather than performance, WHICH IS THE EXACT SAME THING PDP IS CURRENTLY DOING!!!!!!!1
Since when is election not won on popularity of candidates and the manifesto of the party? Election anywhere in the world is popularity contest. If you know anywhere in the world where election had been won based on best skill, knowledge and not popularity first just name them. YOU GUYS NEED TO BE REALISTIC SOMETIMES.
PoliticsRe: Will U Vote Buhari/rochas Ticket (progressives Only)? by Eziachi: 9:08pm On Feb 14, 2013
Gboliwe: me too.
For me, any ticket with buhari is a no.
I am not for or against Buhari but you didn't give your reason for this emphatic No.
PoliticsRe: Will U Vote Buhari/rochas Ticket (progressives Only)? by Eziachi: 9:07pm On Feb 14, 2013
GAR3TH: Babatunde Fashola, Adams Oshomole, Chris Ngige, Rochas Okorocha just to name a few, have actual developed and made progress in there areas.

Apart from the military, Buhari hasn't done anything and he really has no merits nor a 'presidential' worthy resume.
Buhari haven't Done anything like what? Explain please.
Before Fashola was picked up and polished and presented to you by Tinubu, do you know his existence as human on this earth?

With United playing mostly on the dge of their 18 yard, except on counter, Madrids need to run more faster with the ball.

Madrid is running out of idea of how to break united 10 man behind the ball. Taken off your best player on the night-Di Maria and leaving Khedira roaming about aimlessly, he suppose to the special one.

Instead of him to thank God that he was not returned in a bodybag,he came out lying to Nigerians.Fuckingmoron
With the name calling, I bet you prefer the body bag option?
PoliticsRe: I Was Never Admitted In Any Hospital In London – Governor Sullivan Chime by Eziachi: 5:44pm On Feb 12, 2013
Well governor it was you that bought the manure used by those media to cultivate the seed of misinformation when you watched as your foot soldiers lied to the people of Enugu and the media all that time that you were just on vacation/holiday.

A simple truth makes life easier. Its not a sin to be sick, but lying about it to you employers is not cool.

HAH: It is an open secret that APGA,LP,PPA,ANPP etc are all branches of the develish PDP created to divide and rule the people. The only real opposition parties are ACN and CPC .

To be frank am weary of this elements in APC because they can be moles, hope they won't be given any significant role.

Sai Buhari\Fashola
You left out AD, which part are they? part of PDP or the opposition? And remind me the name of AD's presidential candidate in 2003?
Cardinal Arinze ko. Segun Arinze ni; Black man with Pope politics not in this generation.
You may be right, but there is nothing wrong in aiming and dreaming too high. Even if you fail, next time it might become easier for those coming after you because of your high and unrealistic targets of today.
Martin Luther King's dream ended up years later with Barak Obama as president. And in my point of view, its easy to make to the top in Rome than to the White House in the 21st century.
Christianity EtcRe: Cardinal Arinze Likely To Be The First Black Pope? by Eziachi: 5:07pm On Feb 12, 2013
Heathen: The vatican or whatever it is called is not a democratic system. Ps isn't the pope something like second to god on earth. Do you see them destroying centuries of mental slavery of the blackman by enstating one as second to god? Do you think it will seat well with the majority white fundy catholics?
So you don't know that its easy to get things everyone feel that you don't deserve in an undemocratic environment?
How would the likes of OBJ ever to have ruled Nigeria, if Nigeria is really democratic?

seanet01: My friend stop dreaming. Ibos cannot be trusted with such a Highly Revered Position.
Have you ever wondered why chinyere sorry chinua asiwere sorry achebe have not been able to win the Highly revered Oslo Nobel?
Ibos are Osu lol
Its said that once bitten should be twice shy, but bigots like you don't learn. Remember how people like you said and felt about Keshi and his Biafra Eagle as you termed them when the going wasn't straight? You were in the wing waiting for his failure and to un-leached your tribal assault but it never happened. In the end you are made to eat your word with disappointment.

I am not catholic neither I am interested if a man from Timbuktu becomes the next Pope in Vatican, but for the fact that this disease in most of you Nigerians hating anything associated with Igbo is now beyond joke, to the extent that even Boko Haram members are suddenly interested in who becomes the next pope is not only amazing but lunatic. grin

Duduknight: No surprises here, everything starts and ends with 1966/67. You can educate yourself on the events of the 60s; I have no intentions of discussing that.
Me neither, I am going to sleep, Have a good evening.
PoliticsRe: Once Tagged A Sectional Team Is A Champions Of Africa by Eziachi: 1:42am On Feb 11, 2013
Duduknight: Of course you want to ignore age now that it has been pointed out to you that you are acting like a juvenile. Many white racists in the US were against Obama but could Obama have won without the votes of other Caucasians? I hope you understand that analogy.
Don't compare an apple with cassava. That is only normal in Nigeria. Don't just go there. If you have any evidence of reference I had made as to a special treatment due to age, point it out and I will apologise. If not hold your peace.

Duduknight: If kids are behaving like kids, should elders behave like kids? You are an elderly person, you shouldn't be encouraging this sort of behaviour. That a few people were mocking the team after two games doesn't mean a majority of Nigerians were mocking the team.
Majority? Thousands of people were murdered in 1966 because of the action of probably 20 army officers and the majority cheered, and this night alone you are trying to make sense about majority and minority at last?
Give me a break!

I don't do the usual hypocritical Nigerian use of age to hide from the truth. I have not discussed any age with you before, now or even for the future. I didn't ask you to treat me differently because of your age,so what the heck are you talking about? What has age got to do with it?

The reason this team won, is it purely base on talent and merit, it not like your politics. All the boys and coaches in that team no matter where they come from was their on merit and has the ability, that why they were successful.period
PoliticsRe: Once Tagged A Sectional Team Is A Champions Of Africa by Eziachi: 1:28am On Feb 11, 2013
Duduknight: Don't pretend not to know that some Igbo sons were tagging it a Biafran team even before the first ball was kicked in anger. I don't particularly care who started it. The facts remain that a worthy achievement is being tainted by idiots. This is not Nigeria's first nations cup; Nigeria has won in the past with more balanced representation.

Keshi was appointed to pick a team and he has done well for Nigeria. End of story.
You can twist it as you like but we all knew what most Nigerians were saying after the first two games. It was only last two weeks it happens, some of us still has their memory in a sharp mode. I am not saying you are one of them, but don't pretend that it didn't happen.
Baseless ranting of an empty chest-beater
Chest beating is meaningless, you are only hidding from the embarrassment of calling them Biafra team last week and this Sunday, they are the super eagle of all Nigeria. It hilarious and I told some of you that your mud slinging may come back to hunt you and it has. I don't blame you if you felt humiliated today because you are embarrassed to celebrate today, because of last week's rantings.
PoliticsRe: Once Tagged A Sectional Team Is A Champions Of Africa by Eziachi: 1:19am On Feb 11, 2013
Duduknight: The comments on this thread are pathetic. Instead of celebrating, some idiots are looking at the make up of the team and assigning percentages to ethnic groups.
Its not pathetic and DON'T BLAME THEM. as every action results into a reaction. If they didn't term them a Biafra team with a Biafra manager when things wasn't going well as expected, they won't come back talking about the team make up.
PoliticsRe: Once Tagged A Sectional Team Is A Champions Of Africa by Eziachi: 1:16am On Feb 11, 2013
0lumide: I will like to see who started the entire "it's all Igbo team, super eagles of Biafra" crap first....

I will like to see where it all came from because everything is beginning to look like a made up story to get more glory.
You don't need to look far, all you have to do is to go back to the nairaland thread for their first two games that ended in a draw and read for yourself, unless you are beginning to made it up as if you didn't read or heard it.
