Your argument of counterfeit notes would not fly in this context. Legal tenders are tangible objects with security features. I don't need faith to discern a real note from a fake one.Use things like gravitational force which cannot be seen,but this also would not fly as every person alive can independently confirm the existence of gravity. The fact that your religion depends on faith to thrive without any physical evidence is the reason why you can never prove the existence of Jesus to a rational mind who seeks physical evidence before drawing conclusions.

This is by the way; I was reading Mark 16 last night(NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION) and when I got to Mark 16:8. I found this in Parenthesis [The earliest manuscripts and some other witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20].

This teaches me to suspect that someone saw the need to improve on what was initially available.

Mark 16:1-8 talks about Mary Magdalene, Mary mother of James and Salome visiting Jesus' tomb.

Mark 16:9-20 talks about a risen Christ visiting the disciple, giving them the great commission and ascending into Heaven.

Good question. I can love someone who i interact with everyday whether i have/can or havent/cannot see that person. My relationship with God is certainly not a monologue though for some it may be. Some things like the fact that in Heaven people still eat are often overlooked in favour of the notion that eternal beings have no need to eat. Even Jesus says He will drink wine again.

Ponder more on the scriptures than on the fables built around it.

So can you create a mental picture that we could relate to? Are we going to age to infinity or just stop aging? Is there going to be an agenda there? Are we going to have personal goals there?
