Am not supposed to give you a case study. Carefully choose from the numerous instances that will rock your boat.
Am here to re-format your gullible and scientfic brainwashed mind.

Format your brain first, so you can free yourself from the indoctrination you have endured the longer part of your life.

No you're no supposed or forced to believe anything. You are absolutely free to be an atheist. Just the same way I am free not to take your caterwauling seriously.

I understand faith for you is credulity. Some of us still have the option of using our brain.

1 and 3 may be true just the same way as evolution and fossil theory.

There is certainly an invisible force in existence.

FEAR GOD

Absent the threat of hell and the promise of heaven, you won't practice any religion. It takes a lot of mental strength to arrive at the conclusion that the God ideology is man-made, especially in a religion-centric society like ours.

Agnostic right? And am sure it isn't corelated with atheism.
Sire do you have any scientfic or agnostic explanation for miracles; thats if you believe in it as well.

Waiting....

Can you bring forward a well documented miracle? I don't do hearsay.

Can you vividly pen down what atheism stands for and your beliefs.

I'm agnostic FYI. I don't do dogmas

you're being deliberately obtuse and dishonest. Obviously i made it clear the caliber of "atheists" here are largely an ignorant bunch who simply parrot what they read on google without much thought. If you think evolution is real, you can start by lining up your factual evidence right here. Failing which of course i can simply consign you to the dustbin of irrelevance.

We're going on 77 pages and you cowards haven't changed a bit.

How many factual evidence have you put forward to support your biblical creation story? How do you account for the different race we have today? Am i supposed to believe that reassuring fable because its an easy way out?

2. The smaller group is also suspect of herd mentality. This section would be a great example - the atheist viewpoint is usually advanced by a tiny minority... the rest of you just piggyback. Besides 100% of the arguments from atheists here are as unoriginal as air. Most of them are brazenly plagiarized from other atheist websites. Talk of herd mentality.

3. So you know i am scared of hell how? Absurd.

2. Is the belief question a question of originality? Why would someone who accepts without question all that is written in the bible even talk about originality?

3. Same way you came to these conclusions
davidylan:

2. The scared atheist doesnt need to avoid slandering God... he only needs to make sure others are in his corner too.

3. Most atheists are not here to encourage skepticism, they are here (mostly out of fear) to shut down debate

1. Its quite rich to assume that no one knows the atheist mind even though you know absolutely everything about how the christian mind works. Amazing narcissism.

2. The scared atheist doesnt need to avoid slandering God... he only needs to make sure others are in his corner too.

3. Most atheists are not here to encourage skepticism, they are here (mostly out of fear) to shut down debate.

1. The conclusion you draw from my premises are entirely yours.

2. The larger group is usually suspect of herd mentality.

3. You are scared of hell; I know it is non-existent. Now tell me who is living in fear

davidylan:

The truth also is that fear is the emotion that drives the constant need for atheists to rebut religion. The truth is if atheists didnt really care they wont be here.

How would you know this truth, if you have never been an atheist yourself before? I know about fear and how the Christian mind works, as I was formerly one myself. If the atheist is scared, he wouldn't slander your Christian God. I believe most atheists are here because they feel the need to encourage skepticism, and also put out a disparate view.

How about these ones?

1. It is between two consenting partners
2. The activities are done in private
3. Their activity does not in anyway pose harm to
any other.
4. Both partners are adults.

rationalmind: As the war against homosexuality keeps raging in the country partly due to religion and our culture, liberals and secularists are quick to point out these salient points why homosexuality should be legalized.

1. It is between two consenting partners

2. The activities are done in private

3. Their activity does not in anyway pose harm to any other.

4. Both partners are adults.

Going by the above reasons, there is hardly any reason why inc.est shouldn't be allowed if it is between two consenting partners, the activities are done in private, both are adults and of course, the activities pose no harm to any other.

Why then do we all see inc.est as bad and not homosexuality when the same reasons used to back up homosexuality can be used to back inc.est.

Your views and opinions are highly welcome.

I needed you to come from the medical angle to back up the "bolded" assertions, especially the last clause.

Religion / Re: A Plea For Reason Against Witchcraft by ezme(m): 11:57am On Nov 18, 2013
Joshthefirst: slapping a witch or assaulting a church member "for Jesus" is wrong. Jesus never assaulted anyone for petes sake.

That was not a christian thing to do.

You seem to have forgotten the whipping/flogging incident, between Jesus and some people who were trading in the synagogue.
Religion / Re: A Plea For Reason Against Witchcraft by ezme(m): 10:25am On Nov 18, 2013
Joshthefirst: any so called pastor or evangelist or even christian who resorts to physical abuse in the name of christianity is no christian at all. Anyone who instills enmity between brethren and blows the fire is not a peace-maker.

This is what religious mentality has done in nigeria.

And that's all the more reason people need to hear the truth of Gods word and power to save and Gods love.

There a video clip of Oyedepo slapping a "witch for Jesus". Am I safe to make conclusions on his Christianity based your submission above?
Religion / Re: A Nairalander's Life Experience With Mermaids! by ezme(m): 3:11pm On Nov 14, 2013
Deiok: Mermaid may truely exist. We have intelligent Animals on land, Unique animals on the air, There should also be powerfull and amazing animals on water. God created all things to be perfect, but the Devil and his agents the demons have to take advantage of God creatures to carry out their evil plans and destroytions. That why they possesses, some particular species of Birds, pets, and also some animals of the sea, even to human.

Thats why the bible mentioned that at the Mention of the name Jesus, Every kneels shall bow, of the power in Heaven, On earth, And under the Earth which Include the waters (Rivers, Seas, Oceans). That means their are supernatural powers in the river.
Having that in mind, also know this that these dark forces dont just posses any species of animal, but animals that are intelligent and with good features. So that they will be able to carry out the their evil act.

These species seeing that most of their types are been use as a tool, have to take to hiding, inorder for them not to be a victim also. They have to hide also from humans, cause if humans knows of their existent and where about, they will hunt them down.
Examples are cats and some species of birds which we will try anything by all means to kill if sighted anywhere around us.

I believe these will change some persons idea about this whole thing. And i believe some answers can be found in the bible if we study it carefully.

KELVINHO 's Opinion.

The FG needs to fund our universities. I am sad.

Joshthefirst: actually, I am no longer afraid of Gods judgement because I've been saved from it.
Just because you don't believe in it doesn't mean its not there.
Only people guilty of breaking Gods law should be afraid of his judgement and rightly so.
And only then will they look for a saviour.

Good morning sir.

I have a strong feeling you would be one of those Christians who believe they are saved but are so afraid to die. Why are you wasting time here? Get going to your better place.

Joshthefirst:
He forsook his power as God and came to earth. Be died and rose again for our justification.

It seems you do not know the meaning of sacrifice yourself:

Sacrifice:
2.
a. Forfeiture of something highly valued for the sake of one considered to have a greater value or claim.

Jesus forfeited heaven and eternal power so that man could be reunited with God.

How come your Jesus is still all powerful, and presently in Heaven as you claim if he forfeited heaven and eternal power?

Maybe you should look up the word forfeit so you understand the definition of sacrifice above.
Religion / Re: Only A Fool Says There Is No God. by ezme(m): 3:55pm On Nov 09, 2013
Joshthefirst: his sacrifice has already paid off. He gave up eternal glory, omniscience and became human. He paid the price and was exalted again. He did this for us.

He was God. But he became man to deal with our problem, and he attained God status again to unite us with the father and put us in our proper place in the universe

Such is the heaviness of the resurrection.
A dead man opened his eyes in flesh, never to die again. A humbled man became a powerful king for us

That at the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow, and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is lord.

His sacrifice was in his humulity even unto death because of his love for mankind. He tasted death for every man.

King of an imaginary utopia you call heaven?

He was God and became God again, what did he lose? You really need to look up the meaning of the word "sacrifice"
Religion / Re: Only A Fool Says There Is No God. by ezme(m): 12:26pm On Nov 09, 2013
Joshthefirst: it was a sacrifice for God the son to humble himself and become human. To humble himself and become a carpenter's son, to walk the streets of old israel preaching the kingdom of God and being persecuted, to die a shameful death when he was not guilty of any crime. To take upon himself wrath and the sins of man and remain in the grave.

His birth, life, and death are his sacrifice.

I'm asking what exactly did he give up that he isn't presently having according to your belief?
