The regret mails is for those that applied for the turkish scholarship using the link provided by BEA. They actually didn't state explicitly if we weren't competitive enough academically but just stated that they could not invite everyone for the interview. The excuse is kind of vague to me though.

What i know for sure is this, people have showed different levels of faith in different talisman and have participated in dangerous gun duels even back then in the University and my experience of the warri crisis. What made me create this topic is the growing trend of atheists who go about with the assertion that there are no metaphysical happenings, that everything can be explained and that the things that can not be explained now, are probably things that science has not fully comprehended and will soon demystify in the nearest future, I could understand this stance coming from an atheist who lives in the western world, but I will not take it from an atheist who was born and bred up here in Africa, Nigeria especially,

My reasons being we as africans have one way or the other seen first hand or heard (from eye witness accounts) numerous tales of things beyond human comprehension, from either seeing unbroken eggs in glass bottles to seeing lots of crucifixes in glass bottles, how where these things made to happen? It's beyond human comprehension, and like so many other numerous tales of supernatural experiences heard from friends and family,

There is no way you can test the spiritual matters using scientific means. Spiritual defies any physical means of examination.

That is the reason science has not been able to produce or create human blood.

Scientist cannot produce flesh.

Does the supernatural have a geographical restriction within your village? We claim to have access to the supernatural yet we don't have a better understanding of our world to show for it. I can only believe what I can understand not claims.

enilove: I had a similar experience when I packed to my own house a Ijoko. My wife called me to come and see bats in the visitors toilet,we later killed it and in the morning we discovered another 3, which we also killed.
