I am writing this as a review for the sake of newbies who may want to take up this writing offer and not out of annoyance or anything:

Yes, I am one of those who recently wrote for the OP. I knew the rate was not encouraging from onset but I had some free time to play with and decided to keep myself busy with the task.

Well, I honestly will not recommend him or his tasks to anyone because as soon as I started it dawned on me that I shoud have considered the pay above the free time I had to play with. I spent more on data and fuelling my gen as there was no good power supply. Inspite of that I did put in my best cos I just wanted to wrap up the first set of work instead of stopping halfway.

The OP specifically mentioned the tools we were to use for error and plagiarism checks. I personally made sure that my work scaled through those cheeks before submitting because I am not new to writing.

To my greatest surprise the OP brought up reasons why I shouldn't be given complete payment saying I had errors in my work. I really felt pained because I knew within me that I carried out his instructions to the letter.

I have also read above about claims of him not paying some people. To that I will say I witnessed one incident. There was a time we were expecting payment and the OP was not forthcoming and he was not keeping in touch in the main group. Some of us private-chatted him to find out what was happening and he said he's been busy with checks. There was someone who later suggested that he should try and communicate often with us on the main group and surprisingly the OP refused to pay him just because of that. I was personally pissed off about this. It was so childish of the OP. Imagine not giving someone his dues just because he made a suggestion!

Anyway, from my personal experience, I will not recommend this OP to anyone to work with. Thank you.

Honestly, It's so piteous.

The guy once posted same thing last month.
I messaged him and to my surprise, I was shocked when he said I'm going to be paid once I completed writing 50 articles; coming with peanuts.

Actually, this is not a true writing task per see but rather A COPY, PASTE, and EDIT work.

Nigerians are terrible people. So, don't ever settle for monthly payments for remote position so you don't cry after investing your time, effort and resources in it.

Since there's no room for escrow account, ask him to make it a weekly payment. Every word or article should have a price. He should pay for the number of words or articles you have written every week.

Exactly, my point. You just said what's in mind. Imagine subscribing & researching online for a month; using your money to buy data and get your laptop charged, and all you get at the end of the month is nothing.

Honestly, I'm tired of this damn African mentality.
The last teaching interview I went for, they requested our bank accounts number.
Within me, I was thinking maybe they want to send a token for our transport fare but till now I've not seen anything, and it appears that they've chosen the candidates they want.

It's not bad idea sending a rejection email than keeping a job seeker waiting for months with full expectation.
Sincerely, we need to change our mindsets.

The shop fee is quite expensive. I hope you get a shop fee which is quite lesser than that.

If you're a computer literate, you can go into online registration; WAEC, NYSC, Jamb, etc. Anything that has to do with online reg.
You can add photocopy to it if possible or seeking of soft drinks.

Just my opinion.

Honestly, I was perplexed when the guy said he'll pay #350 per article and he expects me to write 50-100 articles.
500 words count each.

The shocking part of it was that he said he'll pay after the completion of the writing project.
Initially, I was tempted to opt in for the gig but I think about my mental health..

I know I'm not financially stable at the moment but nevertheless, my mental health is so important to me.

To all writers out there, we'll surely get there.
