i dnt have a reliable source, it was a friend of mine who attends uniport dat told me, dats y am asking to confirm
Well let's wait and see, that's all I can say. |
Pls i heard a rumour that uniport wants to pull frm ASUU strike, how true is dis news?
And what's the source of the rumour? because only the source might determine its authenticity, It's very possible, though in UNIPORT most rumours likely turn out to be true. But still need the source though. |
RedBenson: Jonathan is an aimless ranter. He can rant all way down but lacks d balls to make it happen. Shame on him!Guy, this one pass GEJ, no be by plan B o. If you are to be GEJ, you will still do nothing other than fold your hands and watch as events unfold. We all like giving advices and making comments outside the football pitch, but when you enter the pitch itself, you will realize is a different ball game. Naija, we are always quick in passing criticism on others, while we're not too different from them |
Balley: . Yea dats d meanin. So bak to my question, wat do u think?99.99% of Public institutions in Nigeria engaged in that. Very true @Balley |
@Cashcard1, I am beginning to insinuate that your may likely be the originator of that ASUU FALSE twitter handle on TWITTER. The way you're are vouching for its authenticity makes me think so. |
Even if the twitter handle is anything to go by as regards to its authenticity. "Soon" no dey finish for this people mouth, "how soon is soon" if I may ask. And the soon may even be next year, and the result of the soon will read "Please we the members of ASUU have decided not to call off the strike due to the implausible nature of FGN agreement reached on November last year, please we are sorry for any inconvenience we might have caused to members of the public". Signed Management On behalf of ASUU. ![]() |
Students Sorry!!, and someone just created a False twitter handle in the name of ASUU, blatantly dessiminating false info raising false hopes |
Yep, it's for real @Op |
KingMEXX: So no update yet??Real ke? this purported twitter account has raised a lot of false hopes. ![]() |
KingMEXX: So no update yet??Guy you're still waiting for update when the NEC meeting has been postponed indefinitely, even January next year look bleak. You better think of something else to do to help yourself and damn ASUU for now |
Guyz, the NEC meeting has been suspended indefinitely, even January next year is very bleak on the strike resolution. Abeg make Una better enter Una business for those that resigned in the hope of calling off. Op you better go and start up a business and stop raising false hopes pls |
GustavoFring: Phuck both of you and your mothers. It seems you have gone GAGAS, abeg somebody should book for the nearest REHAB for this guy. He really needs SERIOUS ATTENTION. Moderator what are you still waiting for to BAN this guy to give him time to go for REHAB and come back with his SENSES. Too much of MARIJUANAS...... Chei. |
For all of you still hoping to start school this year, just zero your mind till January 2014. Whether NEC meeting holds or not 2morow as speculating from some quarters. |
That's the lack of maintenance culture in Nigeria we are talking about. Don't be surprise that this collapsed rail was built in the era of Lord Lugard. And it had been showing signs of being in deplorable condition, still the school authorities paid deaf ears until it took some lives of in innocent students. Is only in government schools that the highest form of negligence is in place. If I were the parents of the victims, I will sue the school and they have to pay through their nose for damages |
ASUU Strike has cause more harm than Good, especially to this Op. Please Merciful God forgive him for he doesn't know what he is saying. |
It's high time most of these Governors that go with chains of convoy vehicles ranging from hilux vans, SUVs should be banned from using such. Imagine One govt vehicle followed by 20-30 convoys, I mean it's ridiculous. And most of the drivers and security men violate road signs all in the name of escorting a figure head. I was lucky onetime, though could have been a victim. Can imagine when we waited in traffic for my state govt convoy to pass. I counted about 15 convoys, just when am about to move my vehicle with hope of no other escort approaching, I was nearly hit by a coming escort that was a little bit behind others, I nearly lost my eye when one of the army man waved his rope in an attempt to scare me, if not God's intervention, I would not have been alive to tell the story. FGN should ban the use of excessive convoy, at least 2 to 4 escort is OK. And this is the way they lavish govt money all in the name of procuring vehicles for escort, none of these cars cost nothing less than 3 millions. Serves the Gov Wada right. |
They have to accord that respect to their member, they're already in mourning mood, so not in the right mind for such meeting. Remember is a human being that died not an animal, and a Senior member of the union, whose contribution in that meeting would've been of immense value. They suppose to even think of convening the meeting after his burial, that's my opinion though |
Balley: Out of curiosity, is dere any skul here in Nigeria (tertiary institution) where dey don't practice 'La cram La por'?Op, hope you mean to "cram the topics/lectures and pour all verbatim in the exam hall"? Is that supposed to be the French translation for that in quote? |
Even if they call it off today. Bet me nothing serious will be going on in school till January next year. These bunch of lecturers are now lazy to resume lectures coupled with four months most of them had been idle, thereby increasing their laziness and decreasing their motivation to teach. And as some students have forgotten their matric no, most of the lecturers have even forgotten what to teach. And some of them will take 2 hours of a 3 hr lecturer to discuss what transpired these past four months and story of his life, esp. one of my lecturer that love GISTING more than his course, and the most annoying part is that students will be laughing & playing pranks with his gestures, not knowing he is encroaching on your lecture time, in addition to the four months wasted. I pity STUDENTS |
Thank God ooo, abeg make I continue my bend down select business(Okirika) as it's yeilding enough $€¥$€ for yelutide ![]() |
wasak: are u saying d strike should linger because the government cannot be. trusted? No, all am saying is that govt should show evidence of strong commitment towards the agreement reached. This is not the first time govt reneged on previous agreement and it will not be the last. I think all ASUU want is for some logistics to be put in place by all the necessary federal parastatals following all due process before calling off. With that, they can vividly hold govt by their words. It's that SIMPLE. |
Oh boy, so like play like play EXPO don go online. Chei all thanks to the DIGITAL ERA. Naija una too gbasky! I hail you bros. |
Nice piece |
wasak: two wrongs don't make a write I think the government has played it's part....Playing its part is one thing, honouring the played part is another. ASUU has been decieved by our wash wash govt for ages. ASUU is simply looking for a concrete and firm evidence from FG. A fool at 40 is a fool forever. ASUU has played the fool for long, but right now they want to hold the bull by the horn. Agreement that took them four years with no implementation, is it in matter of months they will implement this new one. FG just want to pat ASUU on the back and go when they are excited, they will renege. It will be more foolish of ASUU to call off the strike and in matter of months go back due to non-implementation. I am fully in support of ASUU. |
Okchukwu Nwuche: So an exemption will serve the purpose of the compulsory one year experience, coz am almost rounding up my first degree in noun...Yep, I think so |
Where they dey since for four months the strike started, na now there's hope of resumption dey come they ginger. If dey like make dey no sell meat, people go divert to fish, unless fish sellers association wan start their own ![]() |
Both the FGN and ASUU were either in a trance or should I say "hypnotized" during the time of this agreement in 2009. Now the eyes of FGN has opened and the scales in the eyes fallen off, so they have come to see the bigger picture of this agreement, but unfortunately ASUU's eyes failed to see clearly same bigger picture that FGN cannot honour all those outrageous proposals in the agreement and that resulted in a DEADLOCK. |
Until, they officially and openly call it off. We are tired of this secret meetings and negotiations |
Abeg make dis strike enter next year Feb, I want to do 2nd internship(I.T), since the 1st one paid and is about to end for the 6 months |
All these Jos people and their recalcitrant attitude. Na too much of the rocks and plateaus in that state na em dey make their mind stubborn and strong like Olumo Rock? Abeg that Janekem, his own to much joor. Make e no come pour sand for our garri abeg ![]() |
