Education / Re: Masters Degree Certificate Without Nysc Certificate. by fabby26(m): 2:33pm On Nov 07, 2013
I think NYSC Certificate is highly needed either Discharge or Exemption, there must be a proof of Compulsory one year national youth service participation as a graduate of Nigerian university.

Bullsh1t 101 from a graduate of a coou.

Like I said earlier no need to stress words with you, it will be childish. I can see you're still a child, and dumb for that matter. You ain't see nothing yet. You just need to grow up. You don't even know your problem, is it that the school was imortalize with "Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu", so what's eating you up about the school, how many schools in the west have been imortalize with any yoruba man's name. Just that the President imortalized Unilag with one of your acclaimed hero, MKO Abiola, your people wanted to raze the whole school down. That's to show how you people fail to value and acknowledge your past heros. That name alone in quote is full of substance, and talking of being a graduate of COOU. You're damn wrong girl. Think!

What's all this gutter language?

Is that how you were taught to speak at coou?

I have come to see that you're always bringing tribal sentiments even when it is not called for. Any hatred you have against the igbo race will not add anything to you. Even in your profile, you wrote something deragotary against the igbos. I'm not here to drag on any tribal sentiments with you, because it will be childish of me. But let me give you a piece of advice, take it or leave it. The more you keep on abusing the igbos, the more they keep on prospering, even more than your so-called Yorouba race that you thought are greater than igbos is never a match for igbos. You yorubas like making a whole lot of noise, while you do less and always like to be noticed, even when nobody cares if the race exists or not. An igbo man action speak louder than his words, while the reverse is the case when it comes to Yoruba man. And that's the plain truth.

Sports / Why Is Fifa U-17 WC Not Reverred Like Fifa U-20 WC by fabby26(m): 9:44pm On Nov 05, 2013
I have come to realize that FIFA U-17 World Cup is not reverred like its U-20 World Cup tournament. There's always so much euphoria and preparation that will almost shake the whole world whenever the latter is going. As is coming next year 2014, preparation for it is in process from the colourful opening ceremony, through the aesthetic and thrills of the game down the closing ceremony, but for U-17, you hardly notice the game is going on.
Just wondering why?
Education / Re: Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu University (COOU) Pictures by fabby26(m): 8:25pm On Nov 05, 2013
Idi Amin: It's a good development to immortalize our great leader Ojukwu and to donate 5billion to the school. I even heard the Governor is recruiting civil servants in the state. My question is, why is it that it's only during election periods that Peter Obi remembers projects? What has he been doing since he assumed office? Ngige on the other hand will only come home during elections. So, following these and other silly behaviours of those foools, I suggest Ifeanyi Uba should be given an opportunity this time. I hope he doesn't join the band wagon too undecided

That's to tell you that Obi is politically-minded. Are you surprised?

what a pity... glorified secondary school

then what would you call a computer science student from a university like Unilag or Uniben that cant identify a keyboard or a mechanical engineer from AAU that cant identify a spanner am actually full of sympathy ask your self why with so many b.sc with have the so callled facilities they still find it very difficult to work out their way in the labour market hmmmmmm..... with so much intellectual yet noting to write home about. with so much being thought yet some uni. student still find it difficult to write an application letter embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed so much pain

Bro, I don't want to know the grudge you have in mind against uni graduates. You highlighted twice in your posts on the issue of uni graduates not being able to write good application letters. I am not trying to undermine poly graduates, just that they are not given the pride of place in the society. There are as many unserious poly graduates as there are uni graduates. So is just depends on how one chose to develop oneself. SIMPLE

Even some so called polys that boost of being grounded or trained in technical and practical training lack most if not all essential equipment required to make the person good technically more than his/her university counterpart that mainly engage in theory and research, so most poly students are in dearth of that requisite technical skills. Suffice to say that most polytechnics are just glorified secondary schools per say. Even the secondary school i attended has better equipped laboratories than some polytechnics that acclaimed to be technically-oriented, due to poor funding. If government wants the polys to be in par with or even greater than Unis, the govt should matter of fact equip the polys with state-of-art and cutting-edge tools for technical training and also upgrade the crop of lecturers in poly to Profs, and PhDs in technology. Polys should also engage in research. Even if polys are not good theoretically, at least they should be abreast of latest cutting edge technological advancement as it is obtainable in other technical schools & polys in developed economy.

This meeting is taking longer than necessary. Am insinuating it ending in deadlock. Is either ASUU still stubborn to shift ground or FG delibrating on which part of the agreement to fulfil and ASUU still insisting on 100%. I can feel it.

According to your statistics, not only Unilag, there are good number of Universities that don't accept IJMB 'A' LEVEL REMEDIAL PROGRAM, as well as good number that accept it too. But still a very good entrance mode to higher institutions of learning

FG implement the agreement fully and ASUU will call off strike,it's that simple and this whole commotion will end in matter of days. FG has the magic wand to wave and just in a second, this whole tornadoes crippling our educational system will vanish in matter of second. There's money in this country for God's sake. The ball is in FGN's Court. If she keeps the ball rolling, ASUU will surely come to play. CHIKINA!
Education / Re: Jonathan Meets ASUU Today, Union Warns Against Force by fabby26(m): 7:50am On Nov 04, 2013
ASUU is bent on implementation of their agreement and nothing will make them shift their ground not even if God comes down from heaven. The president seeing them does not change their stand, and nothing will change it. And FGN using forceful means may appear fruitful at onset, but I smell failure. The best thing for FG to do is 100% implementation. CHIKINA

Science/Technology / Re: Live Updates On Today's Solar Eclipse by fabby26(m): 2:38pm On Nov 03, 2013
It is already happening as the sun is a bit Crescent -shaped as if a ball of mass is covering it, if you can observe deeply through the rays of the sun with an unclad eyes (risky) just briefly, you will see it. But unfortunately only the most observant ones like me will observe it, while others will not observe it until it elapse.
Science/Technology / Re: How Are You Preparing For The Solar Eclipse? by fabby26(m): 2:29pm On Nov 03, 2013
I can see it now, the sun is becoming crescent shape. Not too obvious, but if you can look deep in the sun, you can see it. Reporting from Enugu

omenka: "..... for
avoidance of permanent blindness."

Now, this is the dumbest thing I've ever heard!!! I look at the full sun with unaided eyes (though not a good practice) yet nothing happens to me. Then I look at a partially covered sun and GO PERMANENTLY BLIND

Legendary foolishness.

Guy to look at the sun alone is different from looking at two astronomical bodies' rays interwinding. To look at the shining sun alone takes a great effort, talkless of combination of moon and sun competing. You better protect your eyes as they say. Nigerians we too like to do things without safety measures, that's not wiseness o
