So far its properly stamped and signed ..you good! Tnablack: Thank you so much.
About this; I have the student copy (It's better your collect it by hand or have them forward it to any organization you know u can get it from them. So u can notarize as many copies and apply to as many schools |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Fabcol(m): 2:18am On Dec 14, 2018 |
1. Photocopies 2.yes they must. They can be notarized at the High court, notary public or embassy 3.Waec/neco certificate, bsc certificate, transcript, English proficiency letter (if that's what u using) and any other "certificate" required by the school 5. Its better your collect it by hand or have them forward it to any organization you know u can get it from them. So u can notarize as many copies and apply to as many schools Tnablack: Please its still your newbie.
I want to send my documents to Uni-assist. My questions are:
1. Am I sending the originals or photocopies? 2. Must they be notarized at the high court? 3. What are the documents I should submit? 4. What else do I need to know? 5. Do I need to ask my university to forward my official/original transcript?

A lot of factors could cause the breakdown in communication btw you guys...like u said the day isn't over...I honestly don't want to believe someone here who knows the pain it takes to go through this schooling in Germany process would want to scam a follow applicant Mystique20: Hi guys! So i don't want to say that I've been scammed because the day isn't over, however i got in touch with the individual whose post I'm quoting after he responded to my post asking for someone to help me with the appointment booking. We exchanged a few emails and finally agreed that I'll make half the payment and the other half upon confirmation, got his contact and account information, made payment today, sent him an email informing him that the payment had been made, i called the number but didn't get a response, now its no longer reachable.
We constantly complain about not being trusted by outsiders but don't make any effort to be different, i honestly hope that I'm wrong about my assumptions. However, if its truly the case of being scammed, i hope the fee solves all your problems,we learn everyday.
May the universe repay you as it sees fit. |

Really? Boys?..girls don't scam heybaby12: My dear you such a nice person I hope you don't get scammed.
When you put that thing up and another person also said he needed an agent to help him out. I was shunned cos of what I said.
When you post things like that you become a pawn for 19 boys. There is no stage you all are going through now that we didn't go through. But somehow we had each other to pull through.
Looking for visa spot made me meet some lovely friends I have for life now. We kept watch for each other. Be strong. Meet others in your shoes and work together. |

1. This is totally dependent on you. if uv mailed the school to know if deferment is possible or u are sure they defer admission a trial wouldn't hurt...u could do that while still prepare for winter..to avoid wasting money be sure the school defers if not just prepare for winter 2. I havnt seen a case like this my ogas Here would sure help answer 3.yes..very very very rare..like 1 in every 100 attempt.. Bah what's the need when you finally get to Germany you would need show financial proof when extending the visa to a long stay one KunmiRoxitaLTD: Please house
1. Is it advisable for me now to apply for summer , and when am giving admission . to now defer it till winter .due to financial issue ? Or to just wait for winter admission?
2. If am been giving admission for summer and I got visa . it is it possible for me to defer the admission and then use the visa when am going by winter .
3. Can I get visa without £8645 block account
Thanks |

Nah. You send just one Complete set..I.e one document of every requirements of each school Ministry of interior ke!?...just carry your original document with the photocopies you want to certify to high court, notary public, or German embassy.. Tho for embassy certification you would need the school application form Armstrong34: .....
pls clear me on this...
if am applying to 6 schools that request I go through Uni-assist.....am I going to send my documents 6 different times for the six different schools
secondly I heard we would certify our documents at the German embassy or High court...does this also relate to authentificating the documents at abuja at the Ministry of interior abi kini |

Yes you pay the processing fee for every school/course you apply for...its 75euro for the first school/course and 30euro each for the rest schools/courses...so if u applying to three schools/courses..you pay 75+30+30euro=135euro You will need to send the application form with the documents and you can get the application form only when the school application starts.. ezenwa28: Hello house, I want to Know if you are applying thru uni-assist for two or more different schools will you pay the processing fee for the three schools each or one payment for all, also I wish to know if it's possible to send document before the university application starts. Thank you |

Or do you guys think its low. I've been following previous threads and noticed most people here that gained admission had above 4.0 cgpa. I'm curious |

The certification of your document is meant for university application. some schools request you forward your document(degree certificate, transcript, WAEC certificate, etc) by post after applying online and since you can't send your original documents, you send certified photocopies... And the certification of these photocopies can be done at the embassy, a notary public or high court..... I hope this is clearer.. Mystique20: Hi,
thanks for the detailed explanation apologies for the late reply, I'm still trying to get a hang of the site. So if I understand you, the request for document certification is from the university to which the student applies, the embassy doesn't necessarily need those, it only carries out the act. Please advice, thanks. (Modify) (Quote) (Report) (Share) |

Thanks for this sir! pompido: The truth of the matter is that apart from IT (programmers in particular) every other profession be it STEM or outside STEM need quite a bit of effort in getting a position post study.
My advice, forget about STEM and focus on learning the language well. Believe me when I say that no matter your program, if you have say B2 or C1 and can read and write german well, you will definitely find offers.
Even System and network administrators have it tough without german. I have many IT Security specialist friends that have B1 german and still being told it is not enough. I also met a guy that studied Law and Economics in English (very little german A1 level) but got a job as a research analyst with a startup in Hamburg.
So, what I am saying is that with God all things are possible but try your very best to be in the best position to get offers no matter what course you are studying.
There are guys that studied Economics and work in Banks now (Fintiba for example), someone studying english communication and has an HR internship with a big company (english only), friend who studied quantitative finance and now working as a business intelligence analyst....the list is endless.
Plan, prioritize, grind, learn and see success fall on you in multiple folds... |

For number 2 you can ask unilag to send it to an organization or school which u know someone and ask the person pick it for you so u can certify the photocopies and send to any amount of schools u want Adeniyii2017: I’ve read a lot from part 1 to 5 and first I want to say a big thank you to everyone who are constantly providing credible information, God bless you greatly.
My question is regarding recommendation or reference letter to University of Kiel and Bremen: 1. Please sir/ma will it be printed out and then submitted to our referee or will I need to just collect the letter (to whom it may concern) from the referee and then submit while applying to the school online. Please more light. I want to make enough plans for requesting for recommendation letter from my lecturers.
2. In the case of Unilag where we can’t as a graduate collect our Transcript, how do we send it to the schools (Kiel or Bremen)
Please oh, Biko, Ejo ohh, to anyone who can see this and have answers. Thank you. |
