If you are to still apply on the school portal with the vpd and today is the deadline for that, then there is problem if u dont get the vpd by 11:59pm. Thats y uniassist do advise you send the documents 8weeks before deadline But if its a straight application via uniassist (I.e uniassist evaluate and send your result straight to the school while you wait for the school decision) then you dont have a problem since your Payment and document got to uniassist before the deadline sahm4u2nv: Please,if uniassist didn't send VPD untill the deadline of the school one is applying too, hope one is still safe. Today's is the deadline of the schools I'm applying to under uniassist but they are yet to send VPD so as to apply directly under that school, below is my attached application status
Thanks in advance |

Ohk I am still an applicant so my answers would be based on my personal research and post have read on this platform
Part-time job? If you mean job you do while studying then No its must not be related to what you are studying..tho most jobs students do while studying are blue collar jobs like Waiter, delivery man, cleaners, etc..tho you might be lucky and get a job in your school like lecturer assistant or something (I know for sure this kind of job pays more)
The truth is building a relationship with a foreigner is dependent or a function of a lot of factors (language, culture, etc)...Germans generally are know to be very reserved. If your fear is racism, well from friends I know there they say its not as bad as people say but it exist
Definitely accommodation in school dorms would be cheaper...concerning "better" apartments in city should be.

Same way you apply with your 100l transcript(I believe you know how this works)...just that this time your are sending the full transcript.. Yea also applying with with your full transcript gives you a wider course option meaning you can apply to a course totally different from what you studied in your first degree..I dont know if applying with just 100l transcript would give you this option mavrom8: Cool. Please how can one go about that?? That seem to be the way out for a "satisfactory" initial BSc grade. |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Fabcol(m): 2:59pm On Jan 14, 2019 |
Well you just got another information free...definitely yes you are use your bsc transcript(100-400) to apply for another bsc. mavrom8: You mean one can use the whole BSc transcript (100 - 400 Level) to apply for another BSc in germany??
Please pardon the qst cause I only knew off applying with 100 level transcript for a BSc course in Germany before now.. |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Fabcol(m): 12:24pm On Jan 14, 2019 |
Definitely yes you need your academic transcript For bsc courses you can either apply with your 100l transcript or your entire bsc academic transcript

Most times its based on the course.. Universities most times open applications for courses on different dates..for example university of Bonn has started receiving for some courses but for my course its till march..so just check the school website and if its not there mail the school(this is the method I always use and they always reply with the date) Laurel10: Please gurus who knows when Ludwig Maximilians University opens for winter 2019 applications? |

Clearly you misunderstood the guy..you response to him was what triggered my response to you(same with what happened btw eldee and I) tho I didn't mean to insult you and I apologize if u felt insulted. You are right About getting admitted with a cgpa less than 3.0 Nigeria grade infact if u check my reply to psttobi you would c I clearly stated it there. I wouldn't deny the fact I learnt a lot from past contributors but do I feel sorry they left?..nahh!..well there children(which u are among ) has taken over and you guys are giving we the grandchildren more information and trust me you guys are doing great Chriswazo:
Fabcol my man, you know we have been friends since last year. Let's just say I was not in the mood though you have a way of confronting people that I don't like, esp when you did it to Eldeee.
The conversion aspect, I was only correcting the guy that said 3.0 above is the least for 2,5 German scale which I know is not true. Some German schools that I know even accept 3,0 for MSc in some programs. So brother having a 2.8 or 2.7 should not rule out the MSc aspect especially with a good motivation letter and CV (experiences). Meanwhile how will someone with Nigeria 3.5cgpa have 2,5 German score? I bet u their was a mistake with his handlers cos I had similar experience but pointed it out to them which they corrected. Dailydolar would have done better in explaining this cos I learnt it from him in the last thread, sorry he is not active here anymore.
One love bro |

I am not mad A 2.7 or 2.8 Nigeria cgpa is not up to a 2.5 German cgpa To get a perfect 2.50 German cgpa you need a 3.0 Nigeria cgpa Tho a 2.88 Nigeria cgpa would give u a 2.59 German cgpa which most German university coverts to 2.50..anything less than a 2.88 can never give you a 2.5 German cgpa Dont be full of yourself no one knows all..moreover we are all here to learn and if u think you have learned everything simply stop coming here rather than replying people rudely..well I want to believe you are more matured than this. if u are having a bad day that lead to such response, I pray God solve your problems or whatever it is bothering you cause a normal person can't act this way. Cheers!! Chriswazo: You are mad, get out. |

I think you should solve your maths well before blasting someone 1+3 (highest cgpa - your cgpa/highest cgpa - lowest cgpa) that's the formula or use this site https://msingermany.co.in/german-grade-calculator/Chriswazo: Please don't spread info u are not sure of.
German 2,5 is about Nigeria 2.8 or even 2.7. |

If you read 3.0 German grade is the minimum in that particular school and they have your course then sure you can apply..trust me nobody here can list the entire schools that offer geology in English... Just take your time and search daad.de the site isn't complex PstTobi: I read in the earlier pages of the thread that 3.0 is the minimum GPA required. Does that mean I can still try some school with my 2.85gpa. He mentioned school like Anhalt university of applied sciences. I want to do my masters degree in geology, geophysics or environmental science please can the gurus help me with some schools where I can apply. |

Uniassist would definitely send it to the school no worries, you could also mail the school(including your name, uniassist app numb and course applied for) to know if they v received it The visa application process visa uniassist isn't possible here in Nigeria.. You would need your admission letter danielsunky: Good people, please I got a mail from uni assist that my application has been reviewed and forwarded to the intended school (HTW BERLIN). How do I track the application considering the fact that time is no longer on my side.
Also, uni assist stated that I can start my visa application process.. But how do I do this without the admission letter? |

Well, 2.54/5 in German grade is 2.84 which is low. You need a 2.5-1.0 in German grade which is equivalent to a 3.0-5.0 in Nigeria grade...can you be admitted for MSC?, Yes!, would it b very very difficult?, YES!!.. You best bet would b to apply for another bsc and write ielts but if u want to apply for MSC check thru daad.de for schools, make sure you search for programs that are non restricted, add supporting documents like work experience related to the course, professional exams e.t.c and write an A+ motivation letter also apply to a lot of schools Concerning list of schools, Check daad.de for schools that offer geology or type "list of university in Germany" via google and browse thru each list. Concerning waiving ielts, you can only find out thru mailing the school PstTobi: I studied applied geophysics in my undergraduate I graduated with 2.54gpa am planning to apply for my masters degree in Geolgy can I be admitted. And please can you list schools that waive ielts and that offers geology. Thanks |

Its clear..they simply need a certified copy of you academic transcript..so photocopy your transcript, take it to a notary public or high court or embassy, certify and send... Magma012: Need more light on this, because I don't know how to go about this. One of the requirements for admission
A certified copy of a detailed transcript of all coursework and examinations undertaken during the primary university degree studies — listing all courses, credit points and grades (Ie transcript of records)
How can I go about this. |

This is totally dependent on the school you are applying to.. they also state it clearly on there requirements which recommendation letter is required and even how its to be sent mikkypel: Happy new year to all gurus in this thread, It is my prayer that this year answers our secret request
I am almost done with my transcript, the vision is this year's winter
But I will like to ask a question about letter of recommendation, Is it a must that it has to be issued by the school? Or can I get it from any organization or company I have worked with here
Please I need to know cuz I will be visiting the school next week monday. I need to go prepared
Thanks for the anticipated response... God bless us all |

Its 100% possible to switch.. Not compulsory you attempt d the school used for visa Wizel: Hey beautiful people , am new here and I have read as much as I can on the thread.
I have a question.
As we are applying to multiple schools, some with early application deadlines, if someone gets admission from the early applications(say school A) and uses the admission letter for the visa process and later gets another admission from a preferred school or course(say school B), Is it possible to go school B?
Or we must attend the school used for the visa process?

I think this decision is yours to make cause obviously you understand how the both process works...well I think studienkolleg is more stressful uptimum123: Candid advice needed pls
I just finished high school dis year and I intend studying in germany,I have read here dat with o level result you can't be admitted into their university except going through studienkolleg for a year....my question now is would u rather I stay here and get admitted to a National Open University with my Waec result and after 100 level I then use the trascript to get admitted (seems like forever for me as I wish to be in Germany sooner)
Or I go for the studienkolleg which is going to require a b2 in german language and also an entrance exam (the thought of having to take the course in German language for 2 semester alone is scary as I believe It will take 2years to be well sound with the language)
Pls a brother needs ur utmost reply. |
