Family / Re: Dear Men, Please Don't Date Or Marry A Broke Woman. by Fabuloski(m): 8:49pm On Dec 21, 2019
Ardar:

For me, someone who submits is obedient, passive, slavish, timid, meek and docile.

I just sum it up as not having a mind of your own or giving up all your choices as an adult to someone else cuz a 2000 year old book written by men said so.
Feminism is about having a right to choice... she made a choice to be submissive and you are attacking her. What a way to go for someone like you that claims to be a feminist... If you don't want to be submissive, fine, all you have to do is make a choice, it's your right. However, never again question other people's choice, it's their right.

ROFLOL...Mehnnnn....because I beat you to it now, you begin pity the man I'll marry?. Its always like that. When men feel you're more intelligennt than them, complex issues sets in and they begin withdraw instead of standing up to the challenge. My ex once told me, I'm afraid you're smarter than me. Babe you know too much. and this was someone I was thinking would help sharpen and broaden my knowledge but he shyed away. Well I cant condone itiboribor as a partner cos I want the most intelligent and brilliant children who will stand out per excellence.
I pity some men of this generation. Just little brain storming with a lady, you chicken out. OYO.

I can never and will never have problems with my husband. Yes!
To be honest, I don't care about your topic because it's somehow but this trend with iLegend is funny, I didn't expect the guy to change the correction to that. It's hilarious

Food / Re: Does Mixing Alcoholic Drinks With Non-Alcoholic Drinks Reduce Effect? by Fabuloski(m): 10:10pm On Dec 08, 2019
zekepio:
Yes and it's simple science expressed by the formula
C1V1 = C2V2

C= Concentration
V=Volume

So if you add a non-alcoholic drink to an Alcoholic drink there will be an increased new Volume (V2) while the new Concentration(C2) will decrease.

Proudly a science student cheesy
serial dilution.... you know your chemistry. Guy, this is the answer here.

I think Norway is tuition free, you can get a scholarship in finlad too, dunno about Denmark,
But you need to have about 3million in your account for both countries as a proof that you can take care of yourself when you get there. Before they grant you resident permit.
Haa! 3 million ke?

Hi everyone
I am a final student of *Industrial Chemistry* and will love to undergo my Master program in Finland, Norway, Denmark.
The reason I chose the three countries is because I have some constraints I am working with.
I am not from a wealthy family, basically we are struggling. So, I will like to know where I can have a better chance to get a scholarship and where a Chemistry related course will be a hit among the countries.
Thanks

Hello sir,
I am a final year student of Industrial Chemistry and I will like to further my masters at NZ.
I want to ask what are my prospect in terms of employment to sponsor myself as an Industrial chemist and can I get a scholarship because I really don't have anyone who can help me ( I am going to grade with a strong 2.1)
If I can get a scholarship, how can I go about getting it or even seeing it.
Thanks for your time.

The major thing PhD will give you based on current INZ provisions when it comes to PR is higher points-points for qualification and points for studying in the country.

Check INZ website -SMC,LTSSL,ISSL,CSSL to see what occupations fit into your present experience and qualification,then make some projections(this is not cast in stone,it might change anytime)

Though sciences generally stand a better chance of getting PR,the most important thing is still to get a job offer..think of spending 3yrs on PhD and be able/not being able to get an offer..though if you are good in your skill,you stand a chance

PhD in New Zealand is a minimum of 24months and maximum of 4yrs.Immigration rules might change before you finish and there is the chance that the new rules might be or not be in your favour.

A major component of securing PhD in NZ is getting the consent of a would be supervsior.If you are able to do that,most likely you will get admitted. Check the varuous university department requirements to see if you stand a chancee with your grades.

A good proposal will give you an edge

If you can afford to pay the domestic tuition rate and show $15,000 every year for your living expenses,all good

How do you want to cope with 3 kids here?

I cant offer you much more on specifics but THINK ABOUT THESE POINTS IN MAKING YOUR DECISION

Thanks for asking. It was eventually approved, and I've been in NZ since April. The scholarship letter was sufficient for the financial requirement, but I later uploaded a bank statement as proof of onward travel (not upon request). It is also advisable that you provide evidence of family/economic ties with Nigeria. Good luck!

Hello bro. Please what are the documents you provided to show evidence of family / economic ties in Nigeria? I got a PhD offer at the University of Auckland. I graduated from a University in South Korea and currently live here under a post study visa. I don't have a permanent job. I don't know if i should apply for the study visa from South Korea or to travel to Nigeria and apply from there.

Before i begin the Gist, lemme start by saying "Happy New Year to All NLanders! Wishing You All a Fruitfull and Productive 2019!"

I have joined Nl for quite a while now but i started taking it seriously when i got out of the Uni. Nl encouraged me through some posts to be serious and active with my LinkedIn account. From here, i got a special somebori @intelligentdude (not boyfriend ooo) that helped me profesionally create a CV for my jobhunting experience. Yes, Your Cv and cover letter goes a long way too. I never for once got rejected anywhere i submitted my CV + Cover letter but that's by the way. I Was active on the job/vacancies section here on NL and applied for jobs (excluding bank jobs tho). I also got past questions from here as well, some i bought, some i didn't buy grin. So i applied to a Graduate Trainee Job in an Oil firm as a Customer Relations Officer and after so much waiting,coupled with the Grace and Favour from God, i finally Got the job and i came here to say Thank You to NL and all the amazing people who continually post jobs on these platform, i am really greatful and also to the owner of NairaLand of course. May the Almighty God continually bless and increase all of you for impacting people's lives daily. Thank You Very Much! I also met a wonderful friend here on Nl, he has been a blessing to me as well. In other words, Nairaland is not totally useless like many think, it is what u make of it at the end of the day, Stay Focused and Positive!

You might be wondering why i am writing this and talking plenty but that's because you don't know how it feels to be jobless and you dont know what it means to be favoured out of many. Just like the story of the 10 lepers, i have come to say Thank You to this FORUM! For those who are still hoping to get employed someday, just hold on, you will share your testimony too. Continue applying and make sure you are doing it right, God's Grace will see you through some day. Dont Give Up, God is not done yet! it wasn't easy for me, there were days where i cried, some days i gave up, some days i felt depressed but i never lost faith and confidence in God. Against All Odds, i believed in myself and i believed in God.

Don't be idle if you don't have a job yet, get or learn a skill like tailoring, shoemaking etc and still be applying for jobs because one thing is to learn a skill and the other thing is to fund your business but just get a skill on standby and God will see you through.

Thank You Nairaland and Nairalanders!!!!!!!!! kiss kiss kiss kiss

Congrats OP. This is indeed a good news. I can relate to what you went through while looking for job because I have been the same.

There are good people here who are willing to help. I got a job now was because a nairalander who I never knew encouraged me to be active on LinkedIn, through which I got my present job. God will keep blessing him and those of his kind.

I pray those seeking for job or looking for funds to start their businesses will have their breakthrough this year. Amen
