Won't there be international friendly before WCQ? Or Nigeria next game can only be June?

Don’t cancel your appointment with Abuja because presently available dates in Lagos is Jan 11, 2022. You can do two things:
1. Wait till they open dates in Lagos, then cancel you Abuja appointment and choose Lagos.

2. Stick with your Abuja appointment. If you haven’t submitted your ds-160, just change your location there to Abuja, if you have submitted, retrieve your application and change your location.

Thank you for your response. Sorry this might be a little long. Now that I have booked Abuja, is there a way I can keep an eye on Lagos available date on my portal?

Also, the date that I booked for Abuja is July 27th and my program starts September 12. Which means the date falls within 60 days of my start date.

Considering the fact that I base at Ibadan, I am wondering if the stress of going to Abuja is worth it since I can basically book that same date at Lagos through expedition right?

Thank you for your response.

Yes, it is possible to schedule an appointment before submitting you DS-160(although you must submit it 3 days before your interview). To do this, start filling a ds-160 form, save the little you’ve been able to fill and then use the number to schedule an appointment.

You can pick the earliest date you find in your preferred location of interview, then request for an emergency appointment(with your Sevis fee already paid), I believe your request will be granted and an earlier date will be opened for you.

Your location on the ds-160 and your appointment confirmation should be the same except in some other cases.

There is nothing wrong with paying for visa fee through mobile/online banking.

About the location on DS-160 and Visa appointment being the same, I have Lagos as my location for DS160 but I chose a date at Abuja. Can I cancel my Abuja appointment and just choose Lagos now?

What's the plan with Lagos date that is currently January 2022 now? That date won't work for any fall guy.

Balogun and Jordan for me but that will not happen
I haven't seen much of Jordan game so I can't say much about him but Tosin I know. Tosin and Balogun in front of the keeper will help our distribution of ball a lot and provide us with defenders that doesn't easily lose their concentration. Regardless, with 2 new defenders, I hope I have seen the last of omeruo now in GWG?

Ovie's inclusion will bring more competition in that midfield. Etebo should be alert. Lookman will soon be the new no 7 and could force Ahmed Musa to retire. Adarabioyio and Tourinagha will soon displace Ekong and Balogun.
I am really excited by Ovie and Lookman inclusion. Other people on the list doesn't excit me that much. Oh my Bad, Tosin is a steal as well. He should partner Balogun in that defense. Super eagles still need more midfielders Abeg, Ovie is a welcome development.

I think with Jordan and Tosin , Awaziem and Omeruo we need to sit up to earn invitation.

...am seeing Ekong or Ajayi losing out in the starting lineup.

Balogun need to be injury free to maintain his starting.

Anyway good addition because it will make the team solid.
When is super eagles playing next na? I am asking for the 100th time cry

You are lucky, where I am serving in Anambra, Nteje to be precise, the boys are hoodlums and they will demotivate you. I remember when I was leaving home, I was boosting to my brother that I will work so hard and impact lot of knowledge in the kids because I have teaching experience back in the west, teaching my level mates and lower level students in college, then also in high school.

When I got here it was a different story. In my first class, I spent 2 hours teaching SS2 BODMAS, gave them assignment and they didn't do it. Well, since they have decided not to be serious, I focused on other things in my life.

I think it's just Anambra though because when I traveled to Imo and I interactef with the locals, I can feel the Gap in exposure and knowledge.

No , Anambra has the least poor people in Nigeria

Every Xmas in Anambra it's like this , Mikel , flavour , phyno , psuquare , umenyiora are all from this state , it's like mass return for them during Xmas ,u can see ifeanyi ubah yesterday too

That's why Anambra is the best state to spend Xmas and new year , tight security , smooth roads , best masquerades , men that fall in from akata
I hope this was true, I am a corper here in Anambra, Nteje to be precise. This is the worst Christmas I have ever celebrate. Maybe it's just the town Sha. Your reality may be because of your town. However, using Nteje as a benchmark, I am not happy because I thought it will be better according to stories.

Good day,
Please what do you think about Worcester. I am planning to apply to the school. How was your funding like? Also did you send your official TOEFL and GRE? Any info about the school will be appreciated. I am applying for their chemical engineering program

Who is applying to Worcester University here or have any info about them?

I have messaged the GC but I need unbiased assessment of them from the group before I waste money sending official scores.

Check Michigan Tech Chemical engineering, Georgia tech, University of Arkansas. You necessarily don't need to have a background in engineering, your academic credentials and GRE score is impressive. There are quite a number of schools you can apply to for direct PhD in chemical engineering with your background. This is application season, best you apply now against fall 2021 so that by the time you're wrapping up your service, you will be starting school immediately. Then you also have opportunity of being considered for funding. All the best.

Thank you very much, I will check out these schools.

A solid background in maths is sure a factor that can help you excel in engineering. But that you have a strong background in maths doesn’t guarantee strength in these courses. Mind you, the thermo in Chem engr slightly differs from that in Mech engr (which is the easier one). They are NOT abstract mathematics ooo. In fact, you need plenty of real-life understanding of thermodynamic systems to excel in those courses.

If you do your search well, you’ll be able to find a few schools that you stand a chance. Check out University of Illinois, chemical and biomolecular engineering. Good luck in your search!
Thank you very much

If you took undergraduate courses on thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, etc. you could gamble on 1 or 2 chem. engineering applications. Look at the University of Utah. Just make sure to check the prerequisites carefully. If you decide to focus on chemistry, I'd suggest you look at energy storage. This is an exciting area due to the transition towards cleaner energy. I'm an engine guy though....
Thermodynamics, yes. Fluid mechanics not so much, unless rheology of polymers count Sha. However, can't they use other materials to determine this thing, correct me if I am wrong but 90% of Thermodynamics and Fluid mechanic is abstract mathematics, which won't be a problem for someone will a good mathematics background.

I also studied Industrial Chemistry and wanted to apply to Chemical Engineering graduate programs as well but the chances were slim even though I took quite a number of Chemical Engineering courses during my undergraduate study. Try Ohio State University though. But try also to find another branch of Chemistry you're more passionate about. Industrial Chemists tend to like Analytical Chemistry and Nanochemistry. Just take your time and make your research properly. Your profile is strong. Cheers
Yeah, you are right about Nanochemistry and material. I will check out Ohio. Thank you

You are a smart guy so please be smart with this issue. A lot of schools offer Chemical Engineering,
check like 20 of them particularly the prerequisites. If you don't meet up with the prerequisites, it should tell you that you might not qualify in most schools. If you end up applying, you might be denied or asked to take those prerequisites at your own expense.
Thank you for this response, I will check it out. I really desire to sneak 1 or 2 of Chemical Engineering into the mix

From what I noticed this year, funded Chemistry admission is easier to secure than Chemical Engineering. Also, the number of schools offering MSc and PhD in Chemistry is more than that of Chemical Engineering. It is better you stick to Chemistry at least for now. It seems to be easier pathway right now. My opinion though
Thank you for your response, it's not like I am making a switch completely to Chemical Engineering. 90% of my application is for Chemistry Ph.D. I just want to risk adding 1 or 2 chemical engineering program since I won't mind doing it if offered.

Hello,
I also did industrial chemistry and wanted to go for chemical engineering but the school I mailed said I will have to take some prerequisite course of some graduate courses and the courses will be paid for which can be expensive but if you're seeking a fully funded degree I would advise you stick with chemistry as you will get good funding.
This is all I know tho someone else can know better.

Thank you for your response, it's not like I am making a switch directly to Chemical Engineering. 90% of my application is for Chemistry Ph.D. I just want to risk adding 1 or 2 chemical engineering program since I won't mind doing it if offered.

Good day bosses,
I know the discussion going on now is about interview. I hope I get a response for this though.

So little story, I am a graduate of Industrial Chemistry (B.Tech 4.05, GRE: 324;3.5), currently serving, I am looking to apply to 2 or 3 Chemical Engineering program and I am having difficulty finding a safe school to pitch my application since I don't have an Engineering background. Please can the experts in the house help out with a suggestion?

By the way, all the program I am gunning for is a Ph.D. plus for my GRE, my Quant is 166 and during my undergraduate, I did 5 mathematics courses and I had distinction in all.
