Looks like Eze will not be going for the world cup. This is the English pre-WC list. Tosin is missing as well

K.Nwakali's first half for Ponferradina vs Cartegena

Cartegena 1-1 Ponferradina (HT)

1 assist (You need to watch it to understand how good it was)
1 chance created.
100% ground duels won (5/5).
3/5 accurate long balls.
8 recoveries.
2 interceptions.
2 tackles.
70% passing accuracy (23/33).

He's also the most fouled player in the game so far (2).
That passing accuracy is poor for a “deep playing midfielder” He needs to do more. Hopefully, he will improve once the second half commence

The left footed boy in Leicester city is done. Can’t even start games. I don’t want to see him in SE setup until he’s serious with his career

This Sadiq Umar, is it on Egu’s contract that he has to play? The guy has been useless in two games but still gotta start today while Henry Onyekuru would remain on the bench?

But I am glad that Uzohor, Ebuehi, Iwobi, and Ejuke are starting tho.

Henry is not a striker

Why are you implying violence when you just scored in a match, this is disturbing and it is not good for Africa's image

All these Nwakali slander. Is it not the lad that had given 3 accurate long balls in this same half and even had a driving move just now setting up iwobi on the wings?

His distribution was very tidy and he alongside Iwobi made us keep the ball more in the middle.

We struggled to do this in the first half. Iwobi and Nwakali steps in and we were neat in pass recyles but ofcos people that don't know ball must slander.

Superficial observers. grin
Chief this is cap, Nwakali played nonsense. For all the talk about him being creative, he’s probably should the last person killing attacking moves. I have sense enough of the guy and the coach should stop playing him. He’s just not good enough, I’m sorry

I just watched Ghana Algeria highlight and I feel Ghana didn't play badly. They need a new goalkeeper though and the defense need to be more focused. If they have had their penalty, the course of the game would have been different

I'm worried about the Nigerian team facing a top team. If we didn't learn anything today, one this that is obvious is that Ekong will crumble against a better forward.

Too many back passes when we were only leading with a goal, you don't protect a goal advantage at the start of the second half.

Ejuke was not impressive and he also just the backpass crew immediately, which made me suspect it's an instruction from the sideline.

Collins is not the best player but he has certainly improved.

What's wrong with Iwobi though?

I think Frank should have played, I was impressed by his late game especially when we were overridden by the Liberians in the middle of the park.

Osihem saving us once again, it's a common trend now.

Nigeria should have no problem qualifying but if they plan to continue playing like this, teams like Senegal, Algeria, Ivory Coast will be smashing their lips at prospect of getting their teeth buried down into the flesh of Super Eagles chaotic play.

Nice game today. Gained control of the game after leon goal.

Ejuke is good but he needs to learn how to play with the team. If Ejuke gets the ball, you can almost predict that he will run the whole field alone with rendering a pass. That style of olay is not suitable and he will tire out quickly.

Collins had a solid game, I was impressed. I thought Bassey will be given some minutes, I guess some other time.

Musa has lost it, let's be honest. The man makes the wrong decision constantly on the ball.

I can't really pinpoint ihenancho importance in this team setup. We should start searching for other options.

Frank the tank holds his turf in the middle of the park.
