Sadiq Umar!! What a player!! Reminds me of Henry. Makes difficult stuffs seem easy. Umar, Simon, Chuz and Oshimen starting together will be lit!

Ability to read the game and know the right tactics to apply is very important at the highest level.
Are you saying Conte or Ole can read the game better than Pep? Or Cisse is the best coach in Africa? Read the game all you like without quality players nothing will happen.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 6:42am On Feb 22, 2022
Football at the highest level is all about who wants it more and whic players have the better qualities. All those tactics talk na just 5percent.
Which coach doesn't know all the tactics? Nigeria vs Ghana is all about who wants it more, who runs more and the players qualities!

Anyone living abroad and is here on nairaland is lonely as f...k.
They can sugarcoat it all they like.
The only people that see this place as heaven on earth are those that can't afford basic needs in Nigeria.
No place like home! it's just so different!
Make money in Nigeria and you will never want to live here! Facts!
The wealthiest Africans live in Africa!

Frank Lampard said some nice things about Alex Iwobi

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8j6fDKV2C5k
I said it and I will say it again, that red card to Alex cost us the Nations Cup! Equaveon won me over cause he was proactive and he organizes the team in a way that the opposition doesn't really have the chance to shoot on target! Bringing Iwobi and Olayinka on suppose to be a masterclass but the red card just spoilt everything. Nevertheless we still played better. I don't see any team in Africa capable of measuring up to us with the presence of our full squad! Alex was sensational today, so was Chuz, Dennis, Osi, Zanusi etc.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 3:42am On Feb 11, 2022
Okoye/Uzoho

Aina Ekong Omeruo Sanusi

Ndidi Aribo

Chuz Dennis Simon

Oshimen

Ghana-Naija is about who wants it more.

Dennis can use both feet and dribbles better than Nacho.

Welcome Lookman!

I think Nacho should play as a striker. Maybe coming on for Osi!

Ndidi and Aribo partnership should not be changed for anything!

Quintessential bad belle beer parlour analysis.

Etebo is our best Midfielder, l really expected him to be the new Ngole Kante when he went to Stoke. Nonetheless, he is still our best box to box Midfielder.
Keep smoking your loud! Don't bring your rant reach my side. I don't have time to lecture you on formations!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 10:09pm On Feb 08, 2022
So what? What have those mediocre players achieved?
komekn:
Most teams are looking for better players.

The NFF is busy recycling players.

We will be facing Ghana who have a very good coach in Chris Houghton. That means he will probably have the influence to bring in from the EPL.

Salisu
Hudson -Odio
Tariq Ofosu
Jeffrey Schlupp
Tariq Lamptey
Eddie Nketiah

And there will be others from the top leagues of Europe like teenager Afena Gyan.

It will be interesting to see how quickly Ghana can get the change of FIFA of allegiance from England to Ghana . Will it take 21 days as is normal or 3 years as the case with our NFF where Ovie, Ademola is concerned.

How I wish Etebo can shake up faster, with Chuckwueze and Ejuke Afcon performance,am in limbo seeing them in starting lineup.
Aribo and Iheanacho bring more than Etebo!
I don't know who Etebo will replace.
I would rather start Dennis on the wing.
Almost everyone here wants Simon to be dropped before the tourney now we want Chuz to be drop cos of a temporary loss of form! No!
Dennis or Chuz to keep his place.
No coach will sacrifice a winger to start both Etebo and Iheanacho together! Never!

Sir,I watched Iheanacho closely in just concluded Afcon and I want to say I wasn't impressed. In the absence of Osimehn I expected much from him.....check it out
1.Uzoho
2.Aina
3.Sanusi
4.Balogun
5.Ekong
6.Ndidi
7.Etebo
8.Aribo
9.Simeon
10.Osimehn
11.Iheanacho....4-3-3 against Ghana.
This formation is problematic! Only 2 of Etebo, Aribo and Iheanacho is needed.
We need an additional winger to bring stability. Olayinka/Chuz/Ejuke should start! Etebo shouldn't be starting.
He hasn't play a lot of football in the last month.

CAF should find a way to make sure we have the best World cup representation.

Not that one team will defend home and away and win on penalties.

But we have bricklayers at Senegal and Cameroon team

Dey calm down jor
Don't mind them. The same carpenter is starting in ligue 1. Against Cape Verde the guy was instrumental in stopping and frustrating all their build up play.

The matter tire me ooo.
As if the best National teams don't loose!
Mujtahida:
One says we lost because of fancy football, another says we lost because we don't have technical players and that we won the games we won because we were more aggressive than those we played against.

An aggressive team that got only 3 cards before the game against Tunisia!

Nwakali has the talent but he should realize time is going.

Kalu will come good at Watford!

He is made for the premier league

He possesses good technique and better football IQ than Ejuke!

Ejuke is talented but lacks that natural calmness to make better decisions when with the ball.

lol! Na so life be.
Mujtahida:
Bottom line is: don't ever lose if not you will hear that it is because you ate akpu that's why you won the games you won and that you lost because you decided to eat something else instead of akpu.

Don't ever lose a game

Another Nigerian talent (Ishmeal Taofeek) joins Lorient but will be loaned to Valeranga till summer.
Moffi, Bonke and Ismheal. Another Watford loading?

I am happy to have Equaveon and Amuneke as our coaches. Good development. With Oshimen, Ighalo and Dennis back we are good to go. I like how Equaveon react to matches. Early substitutions and change in formations.
The game with Ghana is not going to be easy. They might want to play boring footy like Tunisia or Egypt against us but we have the firepower to overcome. That Egypt team has scored just 3 goals within 90 minutes. Drag you to penalties and win. Boring team.

My fear is Partey free kicks or shooting abilities cos I don't trust that Okoye boy.
All things being equal the Eagles won't disappoint.

sir, Senegal team nor be am, if not for our floopy keeper & us been unlucky we would have won Tunisia. And that was a match we needed our established striker like osimhen & ighalo disturbing their defense & them loosing concentration on Moses Simon & chukwueze.it is as simple as that.
