We will beat Egypt for sure ,but please stop saying salah has been average for Egypt

45 goals in 73 appearance is average to you ,I am sure if we have a super eagles player with such appearance you won’t dare to call him average
Average in this qualifiers. Just put Sanusi on him!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 2:51pm On Nov 27, 2021
We're going to beat them or they can't beat us. I believe are two different phrase. I said the latter. Salah has been average for Egypt. He has done nothing spectacular! The Egyptian team cannot beat us!
komekn:
The Fear of Salah is the beginning of great wisdom, this is a clearly indisputable " world class player"

We should not be conceited to think we can beat Egypt just like that. Particularly after struggling against lesser opposition.

We can but it will NEVER BE EASY.

I think Pinnick is trying to keep him by lying that there is a $2million clause in his contract. According to BBC Oluwashina, the ministry is not having any of that and has asked him to resign. He is definitely going!
elyte89:
But no confirmation yet from d NFF na undecided?

We re tired self!

SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 8:21pm On Nov 26, 2021
I know! But there is no way we will lose to Egypt! Egypt needs the point more than we do. Algeria and Tunisia are within our reach too! The AFCON will separate the boys from the men. There will be time for full in-house training! The Super Eagles is more than capable with or without Osi. Desser, Awo, Okereke, Moffi, Dennis, and Paul are capable!
Beloved4:
My brother we may be out of the top five if we don't beat Egypt at Afcon and top our group.

This what consistently drawing the likes of Cape Verde and Sierra Leone and losing to CAR has done to our rankings.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 4:47pm On Nov 26, 2021
If they like they should shift the draw to February, the Super Eagles will not be out of the top five. Morocco and Algeria are within our reach than we are to the Egyptian's reach! Facts!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 9:58pm On Nov 25, 2021
Bassey seems formidable as a CB! Seems Gio doesn't fancy Balogun!
Aribo struck the post with a beautiful curling shot. He is doing well in his new role behind the striker! He usually comes in from the left during Steve G's era! He missed an open goal due to the bounce of the ball.
Onyedika did well too.
Henry needs to up his game. He should open himself to receive the ball rather than running into open space for the ball that will not come to him.
Ndidi scored a fantastic goal after giving up a penalty!

Our boys are doing well so far!

A club can buy a player to fit into its system but a country cannot. It is unfair and inappropriate to compare club footy with the country.
What is Italy, Germany, England, Serbia, etc, system?
daveP:
Chai. See Ten Hag's System at Ajax.

I dunno why i just like the guy. Pinnick no go ever get sense. grin

These guys are just overcomplicating things. If na Naija, hot water, vaseline, and rub are enough for him to start playing the next day! Kwanuuu!
They did not want him to go to AFCON before now they have an excuse to hold on to!
He can still play at the AFCON with a face mask, it all depends on OSI himself!
edi287:
Osimhen's injury looks bad. No way he makes AFCON.

My bad, I didn't know Ghana won the 2010 world cup!
andrewbaba44:
Who was Ghana coach at the 2010 world ?
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 12:41am On Nov 25, 2021
No foreign coach has ever won the world cup! We need to appoint our own and pay them adequately! Finidi, Amuneke, Siasia, Egbo etc are all capable to handle our National team.

Sanusi and Apokguma are special talent and we are lucky to have them! Sanusi's performance against Salah was top class!

TheGoodJoe:

You were referring to the game and there is no way Manchester City were passing without purpose. So what is your point?
What is passing without goals? It's now you can say they are passing with intent!

Have you not seen the amount of missed chances? Which one is not purpose. Some of you guys can be biased.
Biased? How? Even Pep said it? Pass with purpose, pass into attacking areas! Goal scoring is also an act of passing!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 10:15pm On Nov 24, 2021

I think Awoniyi is arguably the best Nigerian player in Europe. He is underrated here.
I do think is because most peeps don't have access to the Bundesliga.

Nawa o for Dennis playing like prime Hazard grin grin

One thing I honestly believe about Nigerian players is if they keep their head down, apply themselves and show ambition in their play even they themselves will be shocked with what they can achieve.

Bonaventure that was looking like a Belgian league reject now looking almost World class
Dennis was never a reject at Brugge. He was their star player. Pep tried to bid for him but Brugge wasn't ready to listen that was the reason he got angry and started missing training. Pep went for Kayode instead! He wasn't called Neymar for nothing! Yes! He gat some attitude problems cos he knows his worth. Bonaventure was a menace in Ukraine!

I think we need a midfielder like Watford's Louza! What a player! Dennis and Oshimen partnership will be fireeeeee!! I don't want to ever see Musa and Shehu in our National team ever again! Ighalo, Collins should go and rest. Bring in Dennis, Awo, Okereke, Bassey and Desser to bring life to the team

Mujtahida:
Did anyone watch Soccer Africa this morning? Peterside Idah said somethings about Rohr, he talked about Rohr losing the dressing room, as in girls were brought to the hotel where the players were and that two players fought during the match or so.
Anyone watched the show?
Awaziem, Omeruo and Iheanacho! Balogun and Collins almost got into a fight!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 2:36pm On Nov 20, 2021
Football is all about movement. Chelsea wing backs are better on the ball and their movement is opening up the midfield for Kante and Odoi to run into. Chelsea and Leicester are playing the 352 with the right set of players. The quality of the wing backs is the difference. Unlike Rohr!
