My SuperEagles, dream team, under 20 and under 17 gave the world of soccer captivating moments and memories!
#ILoveNaija.
Whatever happens I will continuously support our National team in bad, ugly and good times cos I am a true fan!
#AnOptimist.
How can I forget the Miracle of Dammam, Miracle of Atlanta against Brazil and many more wonderful moments of snatching victory from the grasp of defeat!
Where is tbaba123? It is being a while he commented.

Why are Nigerians in the diaspora saying the green jersey always bring bad luck to eagles, and we should stop wearing it.

any explanation for these??
I could vividly remember the 90's whenever we put on the all white jersey, we either loose/draw the match. Lol!

This same SA team had to rely on the referee to get a draw against us at their home.
So what are you trying to say?

How can you play well when this team came to play rugby.
In a sane football match they should have collected nothing less than 2/3 Red cards.
Chuks, Onyekuru and Oshimen cannot do nothing in such a game that the useless Gassamma failed to protect the players.
This same Gassamma cancelled our 2 goals against South Africa.

So peeps are getting emotional over nothing.
We lost, so what?
I could vividly recall AFCON 2013.
We were to meet the Ivorians and so many peeps were shouting we cannot beat them upanda.
2004 against Cameroon, aahh Eto will destroy us!
What happened afterwards.

I don't deal with pessimist and kids.
Those of us that has been following soccer for 30+ years knows what the name Super Eagles can do.
What's all the wailing and gnashing of teeth for.

Our first team didn't start the match today.
We defeated the Guineas that topped the Ivorians during qualifiers.
So please don't mention silly ivory coast here.

I am happy we lost at this stage.
This is the type of defeat that spurs team to success.
There is no cause for alarm, we lost to two fortuitous goals despite changing almost all our regular Midfielders.
We are winning this AFCON.

Trust them to get erect when they face us. They'll turn to the 90s/early 00s version of themselves. Same thing as Ghana.
There's no more Hayatou to help them out this time.

If we will meet Cameroon I have no problem

Many of una dey call Cameroon favorite before afcon ,the Cameroon I saw yesterday are not close to being favorite

Thou in football anything can happen
Cameroon had zero shot on target in the second half.
Ghana came to the party yesterday.
Had it been they took their chances, they would have won convincingly.

The guy made sense by saying that some of us were over rating our team, but he was wrong to have compared Tau to Obi and Iwobi. Tau, to me, should be competing with the likes of Michael Babatunde and Kingsley Sokari grin
Bad man Chriskels!! Loll! @Sokari and Babatunde.
Nobody is over rating our team.
In the context of this Nation's cup no team has performed spectacularly.
For me no team has truely outstanding players that are better than our players.

Morrocco struggled to beat Namibia. They were aided by an own goal.
They can't beat us.
No team in this AFCON can beat us in 120 minutes.
Maybe penalties!
Ivory coast and Senegal are carpenters team.

You see that Mbaye Niang in #9. He has been rubbish even from the first game against Tanzania. I told Yara Yara and my staff that Ighalo is definitely better than that Niang. And Niang is one of Chriskels' boys oooo....

Not surprised with the scoreline. I have gauged the strength of both sides but Aliou Cisse is Senegal's bane.
Chriskels is no where to be found loll.
The Algerian team is very good tactically and technically!
This Senegal team will definitely struggle to score against a strong side if Cisse fails to make changes by sitting Niang arse on the bench.
I do hope you are definitely here to stay Nerdy!
We missed your immense and invaluable contributions.

Remove that silly Niang and bring in Sar.
Move Mane to the centre.
Some of these coaches are so unintelligent.
Without Sarr, Senegal won't score!

Chieke Kouyate
Idrissa Gueye
Umar Niasse
Kalidou Koulibaly
Keita Baldé
Mbaye Diagne

I think you are exposing your complete lack of knowledge or rather blind patriotism for Nigeria.

The players above are average according to you.

I completely disagree with you.
Southgate! I am emphasizing it. These guys are Average!
Westham, Monaco, Galatasaray, Everton even Napoli are Average teams with Average players.

I said this Senegal players are average.

Ndidi is a monster of player.
The best DM in the world right now for me!
Rohr should allow this guy free rain in the midfield with Mikel and Iwobi in the midfield triangle.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by fabyom: 11:51am On Jun 27, 2019
I believe Iwobi will come good in the AM role.
The Super Eagles played a high level footy yesterday against a team that topped the Ivorians during the AFCON qualification.
The weather affected our play in the first (over 30degrees).
However, in the second half we played some really good footy as the weather was less sunny.
I have a question:
Why did we play ahead of group A?
Is it because the organisers did not want the Egyptians to play in such a dehydrating weather or what?

They still won 2 nill ,you know African football is somehow

No team is yet to win 2 nill so far
That's what I am saying.
They are a formidable team.
It will be difficult for any team in this AFCON to defeat them.
But they are not that talented!

Morocco just struggled with Namibia.
Waoo! I didn't get to see the match.

I don't actually rate Morrocco and Senegal
They don't have AFCON pedigree.
With what I see from Senegal today without Mane, they are quite formidable!
But they are not with the most talented players.

Now , we know the teams we should look out for.

Senegal has always been top on my list. That team is so juicy

See the tutorials they are giving on how to put small teams in their place
What a tutorial!
Super Eagles is the only team that makes small teams look spectacular!!
The number of chances created has been astonishing.
However, their misses have been atrocious.

They will be quite difficult to beat by any team in this tournament.
However, they need to be scoring those chances!

They got the highest no of players that ply their trade abroad
Which league most of them are in the French league and turkey.
How many are in top teams?
Some people are talking as if they are playing in Barca, Madrid, Juventus, PSG, Mancity, Tottenham, Chelsea, Bayern, Athletico, Ajax. Surprisingly they have no players in this team so what the bleep.

Rohr don't have sense....
he is just a goo man manager
but tactically he is dull....

as a winger I will prefer any of the wingers to iwobi he does not even have the strengths to outrun Africa left/right backs.
Some peeps are saying the list is not yet out.
Let us exercise some form of patience.
I don't think he will be that stupid to have Iwobi play on the wing in that terrible weather.
This is our first match we have to make a statement to the rest of Africa!

I don't feel comfortable with the line up I am seeing today for both the Super Falcons and Super Eagles.
Iwobi on the wings will be an absolute disaster for the team, I would rather Rohr plays Simon!
