I don't like this man much (maybe because of his association with his Godfather in Aso Rock), but it seems he is the only governor who is trying to combat the hardships that have plagued Nigerians. He consistently implements new policies, some of which other governors haven't even considered.
It might be in everyone's interest in Lagos to work with him, as he appears receptive to new ideas (for tackling hunger and starvation). |

dvkot: its a stablecoin that is ALLEGEDLY pegged to USD it's not USD, no one said it is (but it was intentionally named that way to fool the elderly). People will still switch to btc or eth if there no usdt don't be naive. The world is changing with innovative ways to confuse and dupe people, stop thinking like a rock Hmmm interesting. dvkot: imagine earning 100k per month and saving it in naira to be able to travel but oneday your 100k naira is now worth 50$. We don't need to imagine this it's already happening Sad.. the point is, do not mistake it for real dollars. It's value depends on millions of mugus that most think it is USD. In the age of mass media, their illustration could be cured at once (just like SBF & Celsius exchange crash when people asked for their money at once). |
Investment › Re: USDT Is Not The Same As US Dollar by faceland: 11:24am On Feb 23, 2024 |
SenecaTheYonger: if you type ‘what does USDT stand for’ in Google you will never see United States Dollar Tether. So now tell me how a token which is printed from thin air, which you cannot buy oil with, you can’t sell oil and accept USDT as payment. You can’t pay hospital bills abroad, you can’t pay schools fees, you cannot export anything of relevance and collect USDT as payment. But somehow this is supposed to be competing with actual USD that we get from oil export and other trading of goods and services, etc.
USDT has no value outside of being a hedge for crypto coins to avoid the volatility typical of cryptocurrencies while holding funds within the crypto system. It has no real world use. But somehow, we use it as exchange rate for real actual dollars gotten from trading goods and services. Deep reasoning. Crypto currency isn't really currency, more than collectables or pyramid scheme (don't be the last person holding on to a cryptocurrency). |

NigerianEagle: The crypto stablecoin USDT is not the same as US$.
Go and read up about Do Kwon and his stablecoin UST which crashed and rendered thousands of people bankrupt. The cryptocurrency mafia name the coins intentionally to fool people. It is risky to carry real money, to buy magical digital money. |

One bottle of beer can NOT make you high or drunk and it is almost a thousand naira.
It is better you take strong drink or upgrade to non liquid drugs (in this economy).

can Tinubu that you are defending go to any government hospital for treatment?
why did his kids not school in Nigeria?
why cant he take his "rest" in Nigeria instead of going to France to "rest"? I don't want to speak bad about our over worked doctors but it is clear that out politicians know something the common citizens don't know. They don't want Nigerian doctors to even touch them. |

crossfm: Hehehe.
Akpabio always talking before thinking.
This guy has been on the media lately with funny assertions.
1: Protest against rising cost of living are sponsored 2: 30b giving to state governors. 3: blame Buhari and Emefiele for hunger in Nigeria. 4: Ignorant Nigerians are the ones protesting in Nigeria. 5: we don't know what crime to charge Emefiele with.
The guy is really a funny character. This man needs to control himself. This is not the time for someone in his position to talk carelessly. I was glad Tinubu chose someone from south as 3rd in position to the presidency but Apabio needs to represent. Don't drink or get excited before coming to work. |
