Gideon Okar's aborted coup did not succeed against IBB, but people in the said that coup changed the face of the Nigerian military till date.

Prior to that coup attempt, people from other parts of the country were treated like slaves in military.

Commands began to be held in Hausa.

But after that attempted coup, the Hausas realized the deep resentment that had been built up against them.

The youths have just staged an attempted coup and I believe those in power have gotten the message.

From now on they will be more sensitive with their utterances and actions.

They are asking for End SARS, let them ask for Buhari to step down. Then we know where we are.

Pos can be issued outside bank. Is opay pos from Bank? Or moneypoint, itex, quickteller, kolomoni, etc from banks Too? There are many branded pos out there that are not from banks

It makes sense because businesses have POS. Who ever is trying POS scam in Nigeria is playing with their life.

You can buy pos outside bank. You can buy it just like you buy chewing gum or busquite.
You can buy it and take to the bank to be linked to your account. You can buy it as a toy for your kids to be chooking their cards, but not linked to any account.
Its just like buying a phone.

Reason why I haven't taken any drastic step yey towards the POS agent.
I just realized how much POS agents with different names are littered almost every nook and cranny.

On Wednesday next week, I will be around where I used the POS. If it is the same name, then it would be very very ugly for that person.

But till then, let me be considering all angles.

POS are approved by said banks. They cannot do what you are suspecting them of doing without having you physical card pin code. So may be it's someone in your house.

Modified: These are my findings.

My card was used for a web transaction and not a POS transaction.
According to them, there is no way for them to know what it was used to purchase or received by.

I asked them how possible it could be when I have never used this card for any online transactions as it is my savings account. I was told that my card number can be copied and used without further authorization from me.

This is quite unfortunate. Considering this, I asked why they don't do OTP or any other form of two steps verification before approving web transactions with card and I was told that it is not applicable to every transaction.

Thankfully, I had already transferred most of the money from that account to a new UBA account I opened last week. The money that was used was N2,210.

It is worrisome that our banking institutions are (un)consciously aiding and abetting account fraudulent and financial crime activities.

Knowing the kind of society they operate in, they should endeavor to integrate at least two steps verifications for EVERY web transaction no matter the amount.

It is quite very unfortunate... Very very.

I buy from the internet all the time and they have a verification process that includes text or phone calls before deduction...

I suspect a close friend or relative copy your card and did this... Or a banker. Go to another branch, DM them on the bank Facebook page.

Digital transaction can be traced that is why scammers only use wire-transfer or cryptocurrency. If you give up, you would lose. If you persist, the thief would return your money. Today na 2k, tomorrow ei fit be everything.

I have trekked exactly 11km as a test. I measured the distance with Google maps on my phone.
When walking slowly, it took me 4 hrs (8 am till 12noon)
When walking at my fastest (almost jogging) it took me 2½ hrs. (8 am till 10:30am).

Either way, 10km is a very long and stressful distance for any normal person.

I use to jog 5km (not anymore) and it takes me about 40 minutes socked in sweat.

I am not sure but it might take 2 hours for a healthy youth to walk 10km.

You are right. I am using phone so I can't see very clearly but it seems his slippers is still on his feet. That man was dead before hanging. A "smart" murder set it all up.
