its been 8 months since my wife gave birth, but up till now she has not seen her period, no t even onces.

at a time, we were told that it is normal for a woman to stay up to 6 months without seeing her period after childs birth. But its now 8 months, and she still have not seen it.

Sadly, except you physically go to EFCC office regularly to push this, nothing might happen. I've submitted cases to EFCC with bvn, nim details of fraudsters that defrauded me (including on nairaland). Maybe about 4/5 years now and it's just a file seating on EFCC Desks and only 'treated' anytime I go physically there to follow up

Thanks. I personally have visited Efcc severally for follow up, as the petition was submitted through me. All to no avail. The only comment from them is "we are working on it", and that's what baffles me.

Good day Nairalanders. My cousin has a petition submitted to Efcc (Economic and Financial Crime Commission) Nigeria. The petition based on how he was frauded by a suspected internet robber popularly called Yahoo boy. My cousin lives in US and he innocently invested in cryptocurrency through a popular crypto company in the US ( they have branch in Nigeria too) not knowing that he was trading with a Yahoo boy untill his account was locked, unabled to be assessed and finally deleted. He couldn't claim his money and all his effort to communicate through was all proved abortive. The police department in the US together with d effort of another private intelligent unit, and with d cooperation of the said cryto company have investigated, and finally detected that the fraudster is a Nigerian, who perpetrated the fraud through that crypto company. Every bit of his details has been taken; location, bank details, phone specifications, phone number, even his day-to-day activities is been closely monitored. The issue now is that, the police department in the US advised to let the Efcc Nigeria conclude the case as the case is between two Nigerians. The petition has been filed and submitted for months now but the Efcc keep saying "we are working on it", while this has gone for months now, and the money is huge and my cousin is paying debt on it. My question now is, is there any way to hasten the action of Efcc? is there hope of recovering the money back? Or, is there another source we can try to arrest this guy? Do we even have hope that Efcc will truly work on it. Pls I need an intelligent advice from anybody that had experience about petition with the Efcc Nigeria. Thank u.
