Tyson shocked the world when he announced his return to boxing at 53 years old. Boxing trainer and manager Henry Ramirez, has claimed that no matter how fit and powerful Tyson may appear, he would never beat any current heavyweight in a real boxing match

He went ahead to suggest that Tyson’s comeback fight should rather be promoted as an exhibition match rather than a real fight.

Though based on popular opinion & some glaring evidences, its safe to say the current crop of heavyweight fighters lack the discipline, skill, and technical know how of heavyweight fighters from the 70’s, 80’s 90’s and even in the early 2000’s but at 53, I think Iron Mike Tyson has passed it & it would be unnecessary to ruin his legacy with his planned comeback. I agree with Ramirez, his fight should be sold as an exhibition fight. He has nothing else to prove in boxing.

Kaima kept wetting her pillow with tears, when it was confirmed that Chuka, her heartthrob was leaving Lagos on transfer to Calabar. There was this fear of fast intruders, especially with the stories tied to the ladies from that part of the Country.

Chuka finally returned home that day at about 6pm. As he cited Kaima, he was thrown into total confusion, not knowing the right thing to do. He began to mumble inaudible words that annoyed the girl on ground. She demanded to know who the visitor was.Chuka finally introduced Kaima as his sister but both ladies smelt foul play.

Kaima managed to spend the night there but refused to taste any food. First thing the following morning, she embarked on her journey back to Lagos.

Back in Lagos, Kaima was no longer herself. She was diminishing in health by the day. Friends and well wishers encouraged her, until she decided to move on with her life. She fell in love again and got married.

Things finally fell apart and Chuka absconded from Calabar and journeyed back to Lagos. The Efik old girl after the birth of a baby girl, began to show her real age and that did not go down well with Chuka. In Lagos Chuka began to make frantic efforts to reach Kaima, with the mind of mending fence with her. Much anxiety drowned Chuka as there was no body ready to give him any information about Kaima. After much search for Kaima, Chuka decided to visit her work place and there he found her. To his greatest disappointment, Kaima was already taken and was nursing a bouncing baby boy. It was then his turn to feel pain. Kaima was happily married but Chuka ended up in misery.

Having 40 million followers on a social media channel where most of your subscribers are kids, has somehow become a right of passage for these ‘stars’.

It's on this note that Nigerian born UAE based light heavyweight boxer raised concerns as to how celebrity fighters now make mainstream boxing. He suggested while he has nothing against such fights, it shouldn't be made a main event and legitimate boxers fight on the undercard and probably make less money.
Packaging this fight as ‘professional boxing’ is where the whole situation veered off in another direction entirely. Let’s get the facts straight. This is NOT professional boxing. It never will be. It should not be given the kudos.

A Nigerian boxer, Israel Easy, says, in an interview with Crown FM that he is open to representing Nigeria at the Tokyo Olympics should he be called upon.
Israel Easy – who also goes by the nickname “Ogbanje” – is a Professional boxer who currently resides in the United Arab Emirates.
He holds a professional record of 14 wins with 12 knockouts and one loss in the light heavyweight division.
He revealed in an interview with Crown FM that he started his boxing career as a very young secondary school student and finally left the shores of the country to pursue and advance his career in boxing.
He also talked about the difficulty he faced in the early stages of his career as he could not get a sponsor who was willing to invest in him but that did not deter him from getting to the position he is today.
When asked if he ever represented the country in any boxing event, he said he had attempted to represent Nigeria in boxing competitions around the world but was only able to do so when he defeated Jane Ayew in Ghana.
He also revealed how he was not able to get to South Africa on time for a boxing tournament due to financial restraints. He added that when he fought in Egypt he did that on his own account, though the people knew he was a Nigerian.
Asked further if he had ever nursed the idea of representing Nigeria in the Olympics since pro boxers are now allowed to box in the Olympics. In response, he said he had attempted to represent Nigeria in the Sydney Olympics in 2000 but his efforts were frustrated after he was asked for an amount he said he could not afford at the time after defeating everyone put in his path during the trials.
He, however, said he was open to representing Nigeria at the Tokyo Olympics should he be called upon.
He finally concluded by advising young boxers to remain focused and not relent in the race to advance their careers

There is money in both. it all depends on what sports or what aspect of entertainment you are talking. Floyd Mayweather Jr made over $150million in just one fight with Pacman in 2015. That year he had 3fights & made 7figures in each one of them. Sports is entertainment too & thats why its called sports entertainment
