tosyne2much: Here comes the last set of questions
What advantage do you have over other contestants that gives you the impression that you will surely emerge the winner?
It has been observed that tyrants, trouble makers and derailers suddenly become unnecessarily friendly and pretenders the moment they declare their interest in the competition but would return back to their normal shell when the contest is over. What's your take on these kind of people?
During Mr. Nairaland contest, sometimes, friends turn foes by trading aggravating words; you see one party strategically trying to bring the other person down. Do you think it's really worth all these? Give reasons to buttress your answer
If you win this contest, how would you spend the N50, 000?
FALCONEY ADEWUMIOPEYEMI ICHOMMY LORDNICVUITTON DEVILMAYCRY
I respect all the contestants , To be a MR NAIRALAND is both an honor and responsibility, my advantage is my believe, I just believe I will be the next mr nairaland ,because I am a person of integrity, virtue and good character, also I am precise, magnanimous, persistent, exuberant, gregarious, jocose, simple, compassionate, rational and decisive. prospective voters your support is all I need to showcase my skills and abilities to be Nairaland 2016 ambassador, I believe I will be the next MR NAIRALAND .
these people did what they have to do , if the contest requires they change their personality to good , then the contest is influencing people's life positively and showing them the benefits of being good. the act is fine by me . about them changing to former self , anchor that's speculation, they might turn good and remain good . that is under probability.
it doesnt worth it , before the interview last night ,I told every member of my team via WhatsApp to only read and not ask question, if they must ask not provoking and out of line questions not to establish conflict , because if they do the team will surely retaliate. conflict will emerge next catastrophe. the purpose of this contest is to unite members and create a fun zone . there is life on nairaland after the contest so it doesn't worth it a bit .
hmmmmmm I'd really want to share part with my team but they told me they aren't espousing me for the reward but love to do it willingly. when/if I win I'll surely ask them again. I will spend part on my writing materials , I school in the north the rate of poverty in this region is high I'll have the chance to help some people around ,others on friends and family.

tosyne2much: The Federal Government recently took steps to scrap the post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. Do you think this is a curse or a blessing to the JAMBITES?
In your own understanding, how can jungle justice be curbed in Nigeria?
A brilliant/well prepared student should not be caught giraff-ing or applying formation to sitting position during an exam. Do you agree? Give reasons to support your answer
Why do you think ladies find it a lot easier to get jobs than men in Nigeria?
FALCONEY ADEWUMIOPEYEMI ICHOMMY LORDNICVUITTON DEVILMAYCRY
it is a blessing, my sister is a benevolent of this new development. the reason I spent years aspiring was because of my preferred schools tests, due to the scrapping she has been invited for screening which doesnt involve test. . jamb is a federal body and it is credible enough, thou they are few lapses in their practice but I believe with time they will ameliorate in delivering the best exam practice in the country
the cause is de-individualisation and mob action . in my perspective it can be curbed through empowering the local government and community leaders to set rules against the act and orientate people about the implications.
i agree ,that is malpractice, really is such student really well prepared? if I were well prepared I wouldnt do such .
hmmmmm I don't entirely agree with that notion , ladies don't find jobs easier than guys , only in areas where women services are required like in marketing , reception , public relation ,customer care etc . ladies don't fit in most jobs that requires strength and jobs with complexity. if ladies find jobs more than men in this country , my question is in what field and industry ?

tosyne2much: * Now, let's start with relationship related questions*
Which of your characters you wouldn't like your son to emulate?
It's often said that it's very risky to marry a lady without test-running her. Can you take such risk? Give reasons
In our society, people believe that no lady in her right sense of reasoning picks an handsome poor man over a wealthy ugly man. What's your take on this assertion?
If you saved up your salary to buy something for your girlfriend and she plays smart on you by calling the relationship a quit a day after. Would you collect that what you bought for her? If YES, why? If NO, why?
Are you a womanizer? If YES, why do you think you are? If NO, why do you think you are not?
Cc
FALCONEY ADEWUMIOPEYEMI ICHOMMY LORDNICVUITTON DEVILMAYCRY my addiction to movies , eating of nails and my adamant trait .
it seems everything man do these days is tenable , my religion and society frown at pre-marital sex so do i . sex is not the primary reason man chooses to be with a woman if it were men who had had countless sex before marriage shouldnt have marry. i don't see it as a risk so I'd take it.
society has it doctrines so do individuals, this concept is idiosyncratic, every woman with her taste in man and qualities she desire . some don't want wealth but want love , others vice versa. I'd say society should let individuals decide what they find best for them .
No ! I will never do that , first ,me buying a lady I'm dating a gift is out of love and willingness. she never forced me. secondly , I must be financially stable enough to release few out of my resources to give to her , so what I bought shouldnt bother me one bit . the moment I give her the gift it belongs to her and it is forgotten to me.
I am not a womaniser ,lol philandering requires time and resources which I don't have at my disposal as we speak/type. I'm a student and my top priority is my studies ,i ain't got time and money . i don't think I will ever womanise

Politics › Court Order On Reversal Of Electricity Tariff May Lead To Loss Of 10,000 Jobs by falconey(op): 12:07am On Jul 19, 2016 |
Enforcement of the reversal on electricity tariff as ordered by a Lagos High Court may lead to over 10,000 job loss, Mr Oladele Amoda, Chief Executive Officer, Eko Electricity Distribution Company Plc (EKEDP) said. Amoda who stated this at the company’s function in conjunction with the United States Agency for International Development, USAID in Lagos said that electricity distribution companies, DISCOs, have warned that if the court order, which directed them to revert to old tariff is obeyed, it will affect the power sector negatively. He said, “Over 10,000 workers may be sacked while investors will not just shy away from investing in the sector, international donors will also be discouraged from participating in the sector.
“We have appealed the court order for stay of execution. Meanwhile, that singular act will affect the power sector negatively. Investors will be discouraged from further investment in the sector; donor agencies may have a rethink.
“The biggest one is that it may lead to job loss. More than 10,000 workers may lose their job if that judgment stands. Companies cannot continue to run a business at a loss. If we are not making profit, at least we try to cover our cost. “Another thing is that if we go to status quo as contained in the judgment, we will reintroduce fixed charges. Right now, the increase in tariff doesn’t cover our cost entirely.
Many things have to be done by reinforcing our network which is dilapidated. With this judgment, banks may not offer us credit because they will realise we may not recover our cost,’ he said. Amoda also said that Eko DISCO has disconnected all military formations within its network, adding that over N6 billion is been owed by the formations to date.
He said that about N18 billion is been owed by various electricity customers within the network which posed serious setback to their operations. According to him, the debts owed all the eleven distribution companies by the Federal and State Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) as well as the various military formations across the country has risen to N90 billion. www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/court-order-reversal-electricity-tariff-may-lead-loss-10000-jobs-amoda/ |
