Mekaboy, you try sef. This is a no go!

North is made up of two regions - Arewa and Middlebelt.

What we should encourage is separate the two to create balance and progress, not joining South and creating more problems.

Why is it hard for Southern Christians to separate Middlebelt from Arewa?

What is middle belt? is it Christian states or NorthCentral which half of it are Muslims?

ELIGIBILITY for NYSC exemption certificate

Nigerian Graduates either home or oversea trained who have the stipulated qualification of (B.SC, B.A or HND) from approved or accredited Institution by (NUC, NTBE or NCCE) are eligible for Exemption Certificate however while foreign trained graduates must submit their Certificates at the Mobilization Department for Evaluation.

http://www.nysc.gov.ng/certcollectexp.html

What Sense are you making with this? I am telling you if you graduate before 30 you must serve and you're typing something else.

The system will determine whether you are to be exempted or you are not to be exempted. So, according to the law, all those who graduated with effect from 1974, who studied abroad or in Nigeria, and you are not above 30 years at the point of graduation, you are supposed to make yourself available for mobilisation and you will be deployed. If you are above 30, you will be exempted.

The other category of graduates that will exempted are those who have served in the Nigerian Police or the military for not less than nine months, if you have an honours award, if you are with the defence or security (DSS, or NSO as it used to be). These are the only people that have been exempted. But even if you graduate at the age of 20, you are in US, and you have not made yourself available to be mobilised, whenever you come back, even if you are 60 years, you have to undergo the NYSC. - NYSC BOSS BICHI

You dont get it. Kemi was never required toserve because she came back to nigeria at the age of 34. All she needed was an exemption certificate which she unfortunately tried to get via a proxy (as is the case with most licenses in Nigeria).

No. You're wrong she is required to serve. He is a Nigerian since day 1 despite being born in UK. She did not become Nigerian at 34. She graduated at the age of 22.

According NYSC you must serve if you graduated from school at the age of <30. Even if you're hundred years now you cannot work if you did not serve since you graduated below 30.

True. But she was never accused of corruption. what she did is the norm in nigeria. How many of u actually go and get drivers license or even international passport on your own?? The loss of kemi is quite a shame. I pray PMB brings her back in 2019

If I'm Kemi. I will face the law while applying for nysc. Last last the Court will fine her. By next year 2019 she is true with her nysc and she will be back as Minister.

Kemi Adeosun The Game Changer

1. Full implementation of the Treasury Single Account. When the TSA was piloted under the previous govt, it saved the government N103 billion between 2010 and 2013. With full implementation from 2015, TSA had saved the government N7 TRILLION as at April 2018

2. Voluntary Asset and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS). This raised the number of tax payers from 13 million in 2015 to 19.3 million in 2018

3. Efficiency Unit of the Federal Ministry of Finance saved the govt N34 billion in Travel and Transport alone in 2017 compared to 2016

4. Efficiency Unit saved the govt N24 BILLION on Stationeries and Consumables in 2017 alone compared to 2016

5. Mrs Adeosun instituted the 22 conditions for states to get bail out funds which improved fiscal responsibility.

6. The Development Bank of Nigeria was established and made operational.

7. The Whistleblower Policy led to the “blowing of 8,000 whistles”, which has led to 10 prosecutions, 4 convictions and the recovery of N14 billion. N440 million has been paid out to 14 people as a result

8. Linking the BVN to the government IPPIS Payroll System has seen the uncovering of nearly 50,000 multiple salaries. These are not ghost workers but public servants collecting multiple salaries. In one case, one public servant was collecting 20 salaries

9. Mrs Adeosun instituted the Presidential Initiative on Continuous Audit which sought to clean out the personnel records of government Minsities, Departments, agencies and parastatals. Ironically, it exposed many people with fake degree certificates who were shown the door

10. The linking of BVN with IPPIS meant that, for the first time, we are able to identify who is benefiting from the creation of ghost workers. We now know who is collecting the salaries. More than 100 people are now being prosecuted by the EFCC for benefiting from ghost workers

The way you guys are portrayed yourselves in this Buhari era is sad. I know that other than Kwankwaso and elrufai, other northern politicians would not have allowed our religious fissures to get this pronounced and widespread.

But I believe in the God I serve that Buhari shall not go unpunished both here and in the hereafter.

Lolx why not lay curse on all Northern pple just like you want 2do in the case of Butterflyleo (a Southwestern Christian) ? Or to make it easier for you, just lay curse on all Northern Muslims on Nairaland.

She is not the new finance minister. She was only asked to oversee the activities of the ministry in the absence of Kemi until the gap is filled by appointing new minister from Ogun state. Zainab is the current minister of state for budget and national planning.

Politics / EXCLUSIVE: Buhari Told Adeosun To Go Few Weeks Ago by Fariq: 3:17pm On Sep 14, 2018
Although it just became public on Friday, it is already “a few weeks” since President Muhammadu Buhari decided to let go of Kemi Adeosun as Minister of Finance, SaharaReporters understands.

Two sources close to the government told SaharaReporters on Friday that the UK-born Minister had resigned, but it has now emerged that it was the President who indeed “told Adeosun to go”.

Also, the sack was deliberately made public today to manage public backlash over the President’s decision to remove Matthew Seiyefa as Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to make way for Yusuf Magaji Bichi. Seiyefa hails from Bayelsa State while Bichi is from Kano, prompting widespread condemnation about the concentration of the country’s security apparatus in the hands of northerners.

There were calls for Adeosun’s sacking after an investigation by Premium Times revealed that lawmakers had been blackmailing her into releasing funds, running into billions of naira, because they were aware she skipped the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme and then forged an exemption certificate.

Seiyefa, however, was appointed DSS DG in acting capacity in August after then Acting President Yemi Osinbajo sacked Lawal Daura for ordering his men to lay siege to the National Assembly without receiving clearance from the presidency.

“We had got the information since 7am that Buhari had already fired Adeosun,” the government source said.

“But seeing the backlash from the public on the appointment of Bichi as DSS DG, which they had anticipated, they had to make Adeosun’s exit public. I can assure you that Buhari already decided to remove Adeosun before now; she was asked to resign some weeks ago — in August, in fact. The certificate was forged; there is no way to hide it, so to buy some credibility for the government, they just had to let her go.”

The igbos must not be rewarded with it.

They wanted her to lose the job and it has happened.

The north can keep the job.

It will come from Ogun. The Minister is from Ogun and the replacement will come from Ogun. Each state must have a minister.

What is it if Igbo get it? I don't have problem with that. My only problem is their hatred. If Igbo is rewarded with the post, they will still claim it's because of election or damage control. They did not vote in this administration yet they want every major post.
