One of the hardest job in the world is leadership. It's obvious Ambode and Fashola are not best of friends. It was so obvious that Ambode neglected virtually every Fashola's past project that he didn't finish then. He was focused on removing all his predecessors legacies rather than creating his own and let posterity be the judge. Ambode made a couple of mistakes which took Lagos backward in some regards. That Doesnt mean he is a bad human, we all have our shortcomings. Fashola set up structures for almost every sector, from health, environment , infrastructures, education etc. Ambode just came up cancelled it without putting thought to it's after effect. That single decision took lagos from 85 per cent clean sheet to 2. Lagos became so dirty that you'd think we were still in 1999.

As for KAI I don't think name change will affect anything but I guess they are trying to reverse back all the legacies. You see when two adults are fighting, it's the children that tries to interfere that will suffer the highest blow.
In other words it's always good to let go of past beefs and focus on the general collective goals.

Ambode's plan was to shift development to the Lekki-Épé axis that's why he spent so much money and effort building roads and buying off land for future projects there.

When BRT busses were rotting and being turned into molue under Ambode they got new ones.

When airport Road was a mess he started the work to rebuild it that we see today.

A lot the hospitals built within the last few years were started when Ambode was governor and this was with just 4 years.

- The government knows that it has lost control of the situation and just wants things to be normal, the curfew is their way of appearing like they have a plan.

With Sowore there was a positive development, he was released but only after international pressure and his connections, the rest were dead on arrival.

If I'm being honest with you most people are only interested in protesting because America is protesting.

A very sad reality about Nigeria is that most of the time protesting is meaningless because the people with power to do something don't see this as something worth bothering with. If you really want change vote for the people who represent your interests.

I see this as a total waste of time, you are better off arming women with pepper sprays, knives and even a gun than useless protest on social media that will have ZERO effect on the situation. Women were raped in 1990s, in the 2000s, in 2010s and 2020s will remain the same.
