nBag: there is nothing correct about that assessment. you just don't want to think deep. that's why you find yourself in agreement with him You didn't even finish reading what he typed and proceeded to prove his point by wildly attacking him. Ironically you blasted him for not taking individuality into account but failed to see that the typical school format doesn't suit everyone and what you consider "brain cracking" is just needless complications to a lot of students for things they might not even use after finishing school. The same pride and unwillingness to actually teach I referred to is very apparent in your posts. |

tobechi74: Tear them or. You are a product of a terrible teacher Go to any school and ask the students to identify the subject they dislike most. Many of them will chorus “mathematics”. What makes student harbour a passionate hatred for this subject still remains a mystery for most educationist .
. Many reasons have been proposed . One which seems to be overlooked is the fact that students do not feel connected to the subject in anyway . Imagine spending hours finding ” x” when “x” is neither your brother or your sister only to search for “x the following day. It is not only routinal but boring. The student begins to wonder whether to use the same formula to find his biro. This is because the teacher failed to explain to him the application of these formulas in real life situation.
Many mathematics teachers were top in their classes when they were students. When they are not learning in class, they are studying in the library. They spend little time socialising and having fun . They grow up to become an expert in mathematics but deficient in relating same to the student . They begin a topic by introducing an abstract theory and leave the student wondering how this theory concerns his life.
They do not deserve to be blamed. They only repeated what was handed over to them by their teacher . Garbage in garbage out. They can choose to create a new tomorrow.
We can have outstanding mathematician but terrible teachers of mathematics. Great mathematics Teachers begin by stimulating the interest of the student. Students who are less than fourteen years of age are emotionally focused. They tend to feel more and rationalise less .
Simultaneous Equation. : Divide the children into groups of 4 .Ask tleaxh group to go to four different shops . Give each group #200 to buy pencil and biro .total amount of both items should be six. Compare each group answer. . Solve on the board. Which group got it right?
Speed : Take student outside Measure any point A about 100m apart. Get each student to walk fast or run from point A to B and get another student to record time against the student. After each student must have done dat, take them back to the class and calculate the speed of three students. The remaining students should calculate their own walking speed.
Volume of cylinder : Tell student to bring any empty milk ,or tomatoes container to class. Using ruler, they watch you measure the height and Diameter and repeat the same for their container. After that, you calculate the volume or area using formula method and watch them do the same .
Average : each student is given a company name and asked to go to the library and get the prices of shares for nine consecutive days. They are to find the moving average of five
Area The student measure the length and breadth of one class room tile . Student count the number of tile in the class and find the product.
One way we make mathematics boring is that we do not involve the student in getting the data. We spoon feed them the data . In real life, they have to know how to get the data themselves. Getting them to measure it themselves makes them engaged. One parent told me his child measures everything he can lay his hands on at home . After measurement, he would begin to calculate . Things got out of hand when the television fell off. These method make class lovely, children interesting and active participant in the learning process, .Soon children will begin to love the subject
https://tobechispeaks./2020/08/31/the-making-of-a-terrible-teacher/ Very correct in your assessment, but it's pride that's stopping schools from giving practical applications to their math lessons. It's like they have prioritised making it as difficult as possible to make it a point of marketing rather than helping students understand. |

The demoralising effect comes from fighting the same hidden enemies for 11 years, poor equipment and planning and being thrown to the wayside after you aren't needed to fight anymore. If you speak against it you disappear like some people already have. |

TrollKiller: how many times will we tell men
Women don't love you for who you are. Stop deceiving yourselves.
a woman loves the lifestyle and benefits you give to her, she will never love you as a person (except mothers)
Maami Igbagbo saw tblack as a, to put it simply, a means to an end. she used him to upgrade her sexual work from local to posh. she used him to get connection and them jumped ship when he wasn't needed anymore. use and dump at its finest.
its called monkey branching. shes a monkey who jumped to the next branch when the former one was beginning to crack.
SEX is a weapon and women have used it to its fullest. Control your urge and nobody will control you. infact they will be scared of you since you don't conform to their music. Society will hate you for standing you ground!
tblack was too busy fvcking 3 girls everyday to notice this. Shows you what is going on in the mind of a woman. She will fvck you but most of the time, the thing she is collecting from you without you knowing, will be 100x more valuable than the sex you adore. its not necessarily money, don't be narrow minded.
No matter how you deal with women, YOU CANT WIN. its their game since birth, and they have rigged it (alimony, child support etc)
then what is the solution??
DONT PLAY THE GAME!!!
Forget what society tells you, you don't need a women to be happy! that special one doesn't exist! she's a unicorn, a mythical creature!
MGTOW is the answer!
#MGTOW #GoYourOwnWay So what about those of us that want to knack? |

DeusXmachina: If you read about Babylonian, Sumerian and Mesopotamian mythologies, it is hard to take bible stories seriously. And you can see where they came from. If you try to tell them this they won't listen, anything that doesn't show the dominance of their beliefs is false. Imagine for a second that the religion of Balaam was adopted by the Romans instead, they would be arguing that this is definite proof of the existence of Baal. |

jesusjnr2020: I really love that talking donkey part:
Numbers 22:27-30 (KJV)
And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he smote the ass with a staff. And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times? And Balaam said unto the ass, Because thou hast mocked me: I would there were a sword in mine hand, for now would I kill thee. And the ass said unto Balaam, Am not I thine ass, upon which thou hast ridden ever since I was thine unto this day? was I ever wont to do so unto thee? And he said, Nay.
That talking donkey saved that fool's ass...
Numbers 22:31-33 (KJV)
Then the LORD opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the LORD standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face. And the angel of the LORD said unto him, Wherefore hast thou smitten thine ass these three times? behold, I went out to withstand thee, because thy way is perverse before me: And the ass saw me, and turned from me these three times: unless she had turned from me, surely now also I had slain thee, and saved her alive.
I think far less credit was being given to that talking donkey than it deserved for saving her master's life, and also being much wiser than him and many humans.
A lot of human lives would be saved if they listened more to the "voices" of animals.
God bless.
P.s. All these atheists here arguing foolishly, they could learn a thing or two from Balaam's story, because the animals are not that foolish. Dr Doolittle when you see a donkey talk please record it and show it off to the world. |
