With what I'm seeing, this amotekun whatever has what it takes to overthrow a government. Rants from a pained fool |

So, they err on the side of caution and ask for a police report, even now that the Police themselves and government have said repeatedly that it is not necessary. Their first priority should be to save lives, anything else is up to the police to take care of. Just imagine how many innocent people have died from ridiculous practices like this. I don't know why we do things backwards in this country. |

Nigerians and bitterness, here we see someone being denied the chance to improve their lives and fools on this forum are busy insulting them, talking about their clothes, calling them prostitutes, talking about protesting other problems. Why do we hate ourselves so much, no wonder any sensible person with the means to do so wants to leave this place as soon as possible. |

All major fashion designers will have their goods subject to a 500% import tax. If they want to avoid paying this, all they have to do is invest in the local industry and begin producing in Nigeria.
Nigeria’s trade and industry minister will offer a five year tax holiday to the likes of Hermes, Louis Vuitton, Zara, Gucci, Armani, Fendi, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Hermes and Dolce & Gabbana if they open production plants in Nigeria. Ha Ha what a joke Who can even afford those expensive brands in Nigeria? At least this law won't affect the common masses who will choose the usual Chinese bend down select. |

Throwback: Until there is a true revolution in Nigeria and we have a leadership who feel the same pain as the average Joe, we will continue to have this decadence in every aspect of our infrastructure.
Even the state commissioners do not have children enrolled in public schools at any level, while they school abroad at the tertiary level.
Which political office holder is a patient at any public hospital?
Do they go through the police harassment and brutality the average Nigerian has to survive daily? Only the political class and their business cronies are the citizens of Nigeria, while all others are victims of Nigeria who must do the bidden of the citizens and suffer for the failures of the citizens.
We need to stop voting those with fancy ideas, and start voting those who are involved.
"Because I am involved", was what spurred Ojukwu to fight for the secession of his people from a Nigeria that then through the pogrom offered only massacre as a citizenship right, as opposed to security and right to life.
Are our political leaders involved in Nigeria when they hold dual citizenship and their children and grandchildren are deliberately being born outside Nigeria.
Can you ever care about a country that is not truly your home but a mine or farmland whence your repatriate resources and wealth to another country where you and your family have citizenship and truly consider as home?
I care about Nigeria because I am involved. I see that it is useless and needs a rebirth, while "inglorious basterds" see no problem with a Nigeria that continues to fund their family lifestyles in other countries where they hold citizenship rights.
I believe soon the Nigerian masses will transition from being victims of Nigeria to become citizens of Nigeria.
For that to happen, we must get rid of the current citizens of Nigeria and establish the true citizenship for all. I respectfully disagree, this isn't the fault of the leaders it's the students and facility managers. You mean to tell me that a university student can see how broken, disgusting and disorganised their environment is but can't think to clean it up? We as Nigerians or even Africans are too comfortable living in squalid conditions and that seriously needs to change. |

Jullima: Watch as they avoid your unbiased post as a plague and continue to delude themselves “western laws favour women” the same laws some men use to get money from their richer female companion.
No need to cry you already know what the laws are, you cannot use a woman to raise your children, use as a companion get her used to a certain lifestyle and discard her like a piece of rubbish when you’re done. If you think no woman deserves your hard earned sweat then don’t bring them into your life and lavish them with gifts, simple. It’s a choice, you can go your own way. With that same logic should we then force women to have sex with us after divorce because we were used to their vaginas? |
Family › Re: Man Ordered To Pay His Ex Girlfriend $50,000 Per Month In Canada by Farki: 12:37pm On Sep 12, 2020 |
MrBrownJay1: You do know that a man dating/married to a rich woman would get the same result (aka receive spousal support), right?!
If you live with someone as husband and wife, then why shouldn't you be viewed as husband and wife? Just like a man who has a child with a woman would have all the rights as a married man. Remember, as much as it's mostly women who receive spousal support, that's because the majority of these men let these women stay home being lazy while they went to work and brought the cheddar.... But if a woman earns just as much as you do, then you pay her ONLY the difference ... if you guys have kids and she has full custody. If you have full custody then SHE pays you the difference.
I fully understand these rulings... If a man dates and promised heaven and earth to a woman and put her in a certain lifestyle that she will now claim she is accustomed to, then the fool has to pay her in order for her to remain in such lifestyle you promised her. The catch would be for that fool to 1st, not date good for nothing useless women who don't work (so that she can also contribute to any lifestyle you guys are into) ...and 2nd not become someone's benefactor for so long while you do everything to better her life.
The dude is even lucky, in some country (brazil for example), the minute you tell a woman that you love her and wanna spend the rest of your life with her Bla bla bla, and she has a confirmation (in writing/text/email) of you telling her that, then within 6months of dating she can sue you (and ask for half your shiit) if you dump her. I'm sorry but this is completely wrong, this woman is a grown adult of sound mind who is responsible for her actions. If he promises her such and such and she leaves her job that was her own choice and she should live with it. Why should any man continue to have a chain around his neck because women still want to retain the privileges gained after the relationship even when there is no written contract? How does this law come into play when someone has multiple "girlfriends" like this one, will they say he is married to all of them when polygamy is illegal in Canada? If I live with my male friend will I now be "married" to him according to this stupid law? |
