The Dream I Had That Changed My Thoughts On Atiku By A Nairalander.


Greetings To All Nairalanders


I know alot of us do not believe in dreams for reasns best known to us but whether you believe or not doesn't change the truth that dreams are one of the many ways God uses to communicate to us and reveal hidden mysteries to us.

The major reason God uses dreams to communicate to us is because as humans, most of us are bombarded with so much thoughts, worries and we tend to rely on what we know or think for a way out; thereby giving our flesh/body the most advantages over our spirits.

This is why the Bible says in

Job 33: 14 - 16

14 For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it
not.

15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep
falleth upon men, in
slumberings upon the bed;

16 Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their
instruction,

The above verses of scriptures made it clear that God do speak to us in real life but when failed to hear His voice, He will then communicate to us through dreams.

Bringing the above into the topic, i was happy when Atiku emerged as PDP Presidential candidate for the 2019 elections. My reason was that Atiku promised to restructure Nigeria which i believed is the only way to end the mindless killings across the country.

I had nothing against President Buhari's government except for the way his government is handling issues of killings in the country. I honestly believe that they are not doing enough to end the killings. But as for building infrastructures and the economy, his administration is on the right path which even his critics knew that.

So, i believed that with Atiku or Buhari as Nigeria's president that Nigeria will be great again.

But everything changed after i had this particular dream. In that dream, i saw myself praying fervently amidst tears asking God not to allow those who shared the money meant for vital projects to grab power again in next year elections.

When i woke up, i had a deep thought on who i was actually praying against, then it dawned on me that Atiku is the one. And a closer checks on those supporting him will further prove the obvious.

Abuja-Zaria was completed before gej left office while the inter city rail lines were completed, this government delayed that project to take credit for its completion when what they inherited was over 90% completed but it took them three years to round up the work.... If Jonathan actually completed the projects as u claimed; why didn't he commissioned it before handing over to Buhari?

If he completed it; why do Buhari's govt had to release funds for the same projects?

If u were to give credits it will definitely not be to Jonathan because those rail projects list above were originally planned and designed to be a standard gauge by OBJ but due to funds he (OBJ) redesigned it to a narrow gauge

But when Yar'Ardua took over, he insisted on a standard gauge and ordered the review of all the projects which was concluded in late 2009.

GEJ was supposed to award the contracts of Lagos - Kano rail project since all the paperwork, planning and designed were concluded by Yar'Ardua before his death.

Jonathan did not initiated any railway projects rather he only awarded Abuja - Kaduna rail projecs and Abuja liggt rail. Yet for 5 years he didn't complete any of them despite the huge resources at his disposal. Not even the less than 60km Abuja light rail project.

It will not take more than 3 years for that phase to be completed.

After the death of Yar'Ardua, a pdp member who was against GEJ made it clear that the north would make Nigeria ungovernable if GEJ won the election,

Boko haram was created by politicians and for political purpose.

Just like militancy in niger delta was as a result of politics and to grab power. They armed their thugs with guns to kill and intimidate their opponets but did not disarmed them after the elections. So guys diverted the guns into kidnapping and pipeline vandals.

I don't want to mention names but boko haram sect as a group was formed by political thugs who came together with a different religous teachings and aspirations.

Lagos - Ibadan expressway has lingered for over 16 years

Ordinary Abuja light rail of about 45 or 55 km took about 6 years to be completed.
