scully95:
Yes, I am angry the way things are in the current state of Nigeria and that feeling is not directed against any race in Nigeria but all the leaders that have failed the people. I had to take a chill pill like I always do as a deep thinker and re-analyze everything that took place over the past two weeks.

Then I found out the Igbos may be making the same mistake as they did before the Biafran when the first coup ever took place and all the leaders were killed except the Igbo leaders.

The same thing is being done as we speak right now.

Check out this post bellow to see for yourself and analyze like they always say. Oodua Ronu.

This post above was shared among the biafran medias and it means just one thing, infiltrate the protest and use the little opportunity you have to make maximum destruction. Yes, a video was shown where the soldiers were firing warning shots. One could see the shot fired were flying upward at the lekkitollgate 'massacre'.

To use that as a pretext then went ahead to start burning the infrastructure we lack(Bus Station) in the same Lagos shows we are not on the same page. You also went ahead attacking the Oba house meanwhile non of your kings house in the east has ever been attacked in any Riot or whatsoever.

Let me also share this last screenshot.

This virtually explains everything, you attacked Tinubu's TV station while leaving others, also attacked the Oba's house. That is more political a movement than sharing the same agitation. Attacking the little infrastructure we have in Lagos simply means we are not on the same page.

Also attacking one leader's investment while letting the others walk freely also implies we are not on the same page here.

All the leaders have failed and all must be treated the same. #OoduaRonu

#Now they want YORUBA to RONU...

They are asking why TV stations like AIT, Channels, Arise TV and STV were not attacked.

They are saying TVC was attacked because it is owned by a Yoruba man.

What a stupid narrative.

Like I have maintained, I don't support destruction of properties and I am also against killing of defenceless Nigerians.

However, instead of this nonsensical ethnic sentiments they are trying to whip up, methinks these people should rather blame those soldiers who went to Lekki to shoot at protesters and those who sent them.

They should blame those who switched off the light and CCTV cameras at Lekki Toll Gate before the soldiers carried out that barbaric act.

They should show empathy for the loss of lives and consider the injured who are still in the hospital.

They should face reality and accept the fact that TVC was not attacked because it is owned by a Yoruba man.

Apart from TVC, there are other major TV stations in Lagos owned by Yoruba persons.

Like AIT, Channels, Arise TV and STV, these other stations are on DSTV and are doing well. Why were they not attacked too?

1. MITV is owned by Muri Gbadeyanka.

2. Galaxy TV is owned by Steve Ojo.

3. Plus TV is owned by Kayode Akintemi.

3. ONTV is owned by Tajudeen Adepetu

Were all these stations attacked?

Yesterday too, The Nation newspaper was attacked.

Why were PUNCH and TRIBUNE offices not attacked? Or Punch and Tribune are not owned by Yoruba persons again?

Methinks those who have incurred the anger of the people should rather admit and seek forgiveness instead of whipping up ethnic sentiments that will cause further problems.

That your YORUBA RONU narrative won't work this time.

You people did not ask Yoruba to Ronu when your Tinubu was spearheading election rigging against fellow Yoruba sons and daughters in Ekiti and Osun States in 2018.

You did not ask Yoruba to Ronu when in 2011, your Tinubu opted for Tambuwal from Sokoto State as Speaker of the House of Reps instead of Mulikat Adeola Akande from Oyo State.

Asking Yoruba to Ronu now that the personal political interest of your Tinubu is affected is a waste of time because as for me and my family, we are not interested in your political YORUBA RONU.

You have invested enough to just let go, try to be calm, patience with her, just do as if nothing has happened and give her some space. Don't call or text her often, give her reason to be wondering about your next move, if she is getting the attention from you she will begin to feel jealous about you, maybe you have someone new that is why you are no longer checking on her that uncertainty will try to bring her back to her senses. Don't give up on her just so soon. From what she said her family is not on her side so they will be doing the background talking on your behalf.
Stop further qaurrel with her otherwise things will get out of hand. Love conquers all.

This Ibo as businessmen always cracks me up, which business are they doing, they are simply traders, petty traders in distribution only, you don't see them in serious economic ventures like manufacturing, the little manufacturing they do is fake and substandard.....
Production without adequate means of distribution and middle men role will amount to disaster. China won't be where they are today if there goods does not go out of there warehouse. The Igbos have chosen to be middle men and distribute others products to the end users. It's not true that the Igbos don't produce they are into production like shoes, bags and even Cars but the Nigeria Govt. politics and economic policies does not favour the Igbo man just as it does favour Dangotes and others.

jamace:
THERE SHALL BE NO WAR IF ...

by

Moses Oludele Idowu

Some people think Nigeria is headed for war. I read an article this morning about The Civil War This Time...
But hear me and hear me well: THERE SHALL BE NO WAR EXCEPT THE SOUTHERNERS, ESPECIALLY THE YORUBAS FAILED TO DO THE. NEEDFUL.

I have not seen a war. I do not see a war. And there shall be no war if the people of the South especially the Yorubas will do what is needful and what is required of them.
This is the path of plain logic and where it leads me.
I will explain because the real article is still coming.
Now ask yourself this question: Why do people engage in war?

1. Because one party feels he is in a position to win or strong enough to win.
2. Because of irreconcilable differences...
3. To address injustice and oppression etc.

Now the number one reason is the most important. No matter the injustice you don't attack an enemy when there is no chance of winning. There is just no way.
Thus the most potent reason for war is WEAKNESS.
WEAKNESS invites aggression and war. Have you noticed that the student who is quiet and easy going is also the one everyone wants to fight - even the girls.
Thus the worst and the number one cause of war is to be Weak, indecisive, confused, incoherent etc.

Why did Hitler attack France, Britain and Russia? Because they feared war and made concession with Hitler making themselves weak in the process while Hitler became strong. That history belongs to another day.
Why did Hitler spare Switzerland? Because it is a strong and wel fortified nation.

Why did Jordan joined Egypt and Syria to attack Israel in 1967 but refused to join them in 1973?
Because having lost West Bank and Jerusalem the only thing left to lose is the capital and probably King Hussein's crown.

Why has the Syrians and Egypt not tried that gamble again to attack Israel since 1973 instead Egypt has made peace with Israel?
Because having lost tragically the last time it is suicidal attempting such because Israel is a strong nation. In the 1973 war Israel soldiers wiped out entire Third Army of Egypt, crossed the SuezCanal and were on their way to take Cairo - they were 19 kilometres to Cairo when UN motivated by Russia issued a Cease-fire.

That is Dominion.

That is my Central thesis which I want all Southern people to grasp: Peace is not achieved by negotiation or pleadings or begging. Peace is achieved by making it difficult to wage war.
Peace is achieved y making it costly to wage war.

When a nation loses a whole division of an army and lost more land then you don't need to appeal to her not to fight again.

Thus the real temptation to the Fulqnis is the weakness and disunity of the SOUTHERNERS especially the Yorubas.

To prevent war Be Strong. To avert war be very strong. That is all.

The fulani has a right to plan. They have a right to seek for a West African nation that will house all fulanis and Arabs in the world. It is within their right to seek and plan for their own progress. It is also within my own plan to safeguard my land against attack and made it so costly both in cash and kind, both in blood and property for anyone to ever think of attacking me
It is all about Strategy. It is about Tacboulah - the Hebrew word for strategy which General Sharon tells us he had always used and has never failed him.

So it is very easy really.

Has any nation ever attacked America? Only once in 1941 on a Sunday morning. But Japanese are still regretting that attack till today, and generations of Japanese will regret it. They wished they hadn't done it.

That is power. Make it so costly for anyone to even attempt to strike at you. Then peace is guaranteed.
America made Cuba miserable. They treated Castro like a dog not a ruler. They blockade the whole nation by land and sea and air and stopped them from engaging in trade or receiving help from other nation. "You have sugarcane, so eat your sugarcane"..
America! That is Dominion. Why did Cuba not fight or engage in war against America? Because the likelihood of success is zero.
And that is why there was no war!

Did you get the logic.

Today Yorubas are being kidnapped in their own local government and their women are being raped and vowing not to come to Nigeria again.
And what measure have Yorubas provided for this?

Nothing! Except big grammar, euphemism, garrulity, as if battles are won on the pages of newspapers.
No coherent: systematic and well-defined approach to address the issues and make the troublers pay dearly for their crimes. They are appealing to Federal Government and to police ...

Indeed, God taketh the crafty in their craftiness. So if insecurity continues it is not the fault of the herdsmen or fulani, it is the fault of the people who refused to defend themselves which the law provides for. If there is war it is because the fulani feel they. An win because they perceive the other as weak because they made themselves weak.
So I do not see a war but there could be war if the Yorubas continue in the attiude of passivity and indifference as they have been doing. Today Yorubas are divided. No coherent and Clarion voice to rally around. No ringing voice to listen to....
Everywhere it is echoes I here, the timid and frightful cockoo of a frightened chicken. No confidence. Lacking in assurance.
Today the Ibos are one on this issue and are ready. The Ijaws are one and have spoken, the Rivers have spoken in clear and unmistakable language for even the deaf to hear...
What about the Yorubas?
They are organizing ... while their highways and forests are being enciricled and surrounded.

Joseph warned Pharaoh of a tragedy that is coming but it could be averted. Pharaoh listened and took advice and saved a nation from tragedy.
Again I warn Yorubas: wake up. Your weakness and disunity invite agression and is too tempting for war.
What then is to be done?
Simple: Let every community, every town and village set up its own militia of the natives of that town across religious lines. Made up of able- bodied persons according to the population. Their primary responsibility is their town and nothing else. That is allowed, a group of natives have a right to secure their town and their forests and farmland. Those towns have been before Nigeria came to be and in a crisis the last to come is the first to be laid off.
Let each Yoruba community have this. Same for all including Northern states that are being terrorised. Robbers came to Offa and killed 50 persons in one day. People going to their work in their own town without rioting or fighting. But if Offa people have had their own local militia of even 400 all armed even with Dane guns and matchets not a single one of those rascals would have escaped alive. You got the logic?
The people who are kidnapping are doing that because they are the only ones who have access to military grade weapons and other weapons. And no one is Confronting them. Instead our own government is asking us, we the people, to surrender our guns and other weapons. Sometimes this government by it's policy statements astounds me.
In the light of these let each community begins without further delay.
We shall take it from there.

I am your compatriot

Politics / 71 Nigerian Lawmakers Demand Return To Parliamentary System Of Govt by fastjett: 10:01pm On Dec 13, 2018
December 13, 2018Nasir Ayitogo
National Assembly Complex
National Assembly Complex
A bill to amend the 1999 Constitution of Nigeria to reintroduce a parliamentary system of government has passed first reading in the House of Representatives.

The bill sponsored by 71 members seeks to change the system of government from presidential to parliamentary where the government will be run by the parliament.

One of the major differences between these two systems is that in a presidential system, the president is directly voted into power by the people while in a parliamentary system, the legislature is supreme and elects a prime minister from among members of parliament as head of government.

There is also no clear separation of powers in the system between the legislature and the executive as the ministers are also appointed from parliarment.

Nigeria practised the British-styled “Westminster” parliamentary system until the collapse of the First Republic on January 15, 1966 when the military took power.

The 1979 Constitution introduced the country to the US-styled presidential system of government, with framers of the constitution largely citing the tensions and acrimonious politics of the First Republic as reasons.

Prominent amongst the sponsors of the bill are Abdussamad Dasuki (PDP, Sokoto), Tahir Monguno (APC, Borno), Nicholas Ossai (PDP, Delta), Ossey Prestige (APGA, Abia) and Kingsley Chinda (PDP, Rivers).

Addressing journalists at the National Assembly on Thursday, the lawmakers said the parliamentary system of government will help achieve economic growth and development in the country.

“We are 71 bi-partisan members of the House of Representatives, who feel that the parliamentary system of government promulgated by the Lyttleton Constitution of 1954 is the best for Nigeria since the presidential system has reduced us to the poverty capital of the world.”

The lawmakers further said the parliamentary systems helps in quick passage of economic bills due to the fusion of power that it embodies.

Travel / Luxembourg To Become First Country To Make All Public Transport Free by fastjett: 6:41pm On Dec 06, 2018
Luxembourg is set to become the first country in the world to make all of its public transport free of charge.

From next summer, fares on trains, trams and buses will be scrapped under plans by recently re-elected prime minister Xavier Bettel, who vowed to make the environment a key part of his campaign.

Fares are currently capped at two euros for two hours of travel, which in a small European nation of just 999 sq miles (2,590 sq km) covers most journeys.
However, even this low fare will end under the plans that will be paid for in part by removing a tax break for commuters.

The country has a population of nearly 600,000 - but its capital, Luxembourg City, has some of the worst traffic congestion on the planet.

Around 110,000 people live there but another 400,000 commute in for work every day, while nearly 200,000 cross the border from neighbouring France, Belgium and Germany.

Drivers spent an average of 33 hours in traffic jams in 2016, according to a study.

Stop blaming other ipob or biafra for your failed marriage you did not manage your marriage well. You have to take responsibility for your failed marriage. There has been Biafra before you marry her so why didnt you see her fault from the begining. I think the problem is you go and check your life first.
