I'm sure if it disagreed with your translation like the King James you would have still shown it to me, lol!

Abeg carry your lies go jare. "The wise men conspired with Herod" according to you.

That's how you'd keep falsely accusing true men of God and still be talking Truth!

When you don't have any regard for Jesus the only begotten Son of God, what would one expect?

Next time you'd carry your falsehood and come to a thread speaking the Truth again.
Bro those wise men where magicians, astrologers who study the sun, moon and star to tell the future and in no doubt being practice today and they use magical powers to do all that.

The Bible stated that they came from the East... From one of the Arabians country I guess and honestly they don't practice Judaism.

That the Bible called them wise don't mean that they are of God.
Remember that nebuchadnezzar once demanded that all the wise men be killed in his Kingdom ( this include all magicians and even Daniel)

Please be guided

Finally when a great man is born a star is born. And I believe same way the star will appear visible to those with occult powers. Occult people without doubt could tell when a someone with a great destiny is born.

What stop your friend from investing in local fish production? I know that not all fish can be raised locally but there is still a huge need for home grown breeds. Importation comes with a lot of risk, especially with constant "policy somersault" of the government. Nigeria has no business importing food. Our people just don't want to do the hardwork. Filling local demands and export is what Nigerians should be focused on.

Some people were even importing turkey. Can you imagine. Turkey that were fed with growth hormones. Just think about the quality of products deliberately made for export to Africa. They are the low quality level since oversight is non-existent.
The last time I checked frozen fish is not a contraband and Nigerians don't have those kind of fish. What we have is cat fish.
Even till today you can import fish but not through the land since the land was shutdown, you only import through the port.

Am sure this Sunday you will cook that delicious stew with better Titus fish ; tongue

Everyone is no farmer. Raising fish require having the right knowledge, expertise, time (4 to 6 months )which the average investors won't like to invest in it giving the risk involved

God catch them, this is my prayer for the people selling frozen foods. You try to sell Nigeria fish, broiler, turkey to them they will claim they don't want. It's only import things that is original to them. Folly people
Frozen fish are imported even the ones you buy from the market, like the one that look like snake,Titus etc plus others you get from cold room are imported.

Nigeria can't raise those fishes.

Don't laugh at people's misfortune. Imagine u lost 300k in this hard economy how will u feel?

huh I have a friend who sells frozen fish, he buys from cotonou and import it through the land boarder. Last year when the boarder was closed his fish was trapped along the boarder. That was how he lost all his savings and money running into millions he has been using to run his business.

His kids were out of school since then, to feed is problem now.

This Government should have a consistent policy not going back and coming forward without informing the public and giving them time to prepare

Check very well you see that 45% of that money they called there are looted while 25% are actually paid for fuel not used by Nigerians but emptied cargo, fuel taken/diverted to other countries while 30% are the actual money spent

Time will not permit me to say it all.
Bakery is of two main category; local and modern.

To start local bakery, you need steam tube oven or locally fabricated gas oven, the former two bags capacity is 900k and the later one bag capacity is 300k.you need locally fabricated milling machine,200k.lister 200k, cutting table made of galvanized steel 25k, analog scale 4k, mixing bowl 5k.bread pan 30k for 100pcs. Nylon 150k for rubber stereo and printing of 10,000pcs. Just budget 900k

Modern bakery, this one is a different ball game, but you can open it in small package aka mini bakery, you need foreign deck oven 1.2m, it was 700k before but due to dollar, it is now 1.2m, that is for half bag(50 loaves) one bag is 2m. You need spiral mixer half bag 800k, though you might see tuknbo 500k, you need generator of minimum 15kva, and it must be three phase, which is 350k for china type 1115 imex or viking.digital scale 30k . Water chiller or freezer 75k.nylon and printing 150k.

For big mordern bakery, this one need moneyoooo, no be moi moi, hmm.
One bag rotary oven 4.5m ,1bag mixer 2m. Generator 5m, nylon, cylinder with printing of minimum of 50,000pcs 1m, scalling and cutting machine 650k, molder 800k, prover. 500k etc

Make sure you consult nafdac and join master Baker's association in your locality before you start. Fell free to WhatsApp 08165719385 or call 08063992969.

@ the bolded, I said I have never seen where parents refused to give their daughter out because of non fulfilment of marriage list.

Is that English hard for you to understand?

Besides that, I don't know the part of Igbo land you came from. In my place, the most important thing in marriage is the Bride price.

The lists for the traditional wedding ceremony can be fulfilled any time you deemed it fit but must be fulfilled before the first child (male or female) of the said woman get married in future.

You guys should stop making it look as if it's very expensive to get married in Igbo land. Poor people are getting married, people earning ₦50k and below monthly are all getting married.

Marriage list can always be negotiated downwards.

There's one Igbo saying that says "anaghị anụcha nwanyị anụcha".
Look boy/man.. In my place when they came to marry my sister. They demand they do for my late dad first.
Do for my mother. That's where they come to buy those George that each cost 20k least and you got to buy 3 or 4.

Do for my kindred men.

Do for my umu ada

Do for my umu nna.

Each of the things on the list, for the listed trad up are not less than 50k, not to talk of 120 to 200 yams, assorted drinks, ogba that will full a basin, bags of salt, other stuff.

Say the truth. Our girls are not getting married on time it's worrisome.

One of my brother In the Lord the daughter got married last year. I was there to record the event.
What they paid is over 100k, and they were told to come to village to complete the rest which is the main one.

collinshush:
In my village (in Anambra) bride price is just ₦400..,just as the op said, it's the lists that normally makes it look big, and this list is negotiable.

In my entire life, I have never seen where parents refused to give out their daughter for marriage just because the item in the lists ain't complete. You can negotiate to bring it down. Though some items listed are compulsory.

A man can marry a lady with 2 million naira in a family where another man married the lady's sister with ₦200, 000. So it all depends on how the man present himself.
Don't say what you have not experienced.

A neighbour of mine left his girlfriend of 4 years to marry another girl just because the list is expensive.

How can he be ask to buy wrapper 3 pieces of each worth 30k, 20k for igwe with a goat, 120 peaces of yams value 1k per each, plus other things I can't remember.

He said when he calculated the money it got to over 700k, ask the family to consider they said no.

See u have not experienced.

Romance › Re: What A Prophet Told Me About My Girlfriend. by fastseo:
SeunWedsLinda:
Good morning nairalanders. I'm sharing this here because I feel restless with this urgent need to end my relationship. I'll make the story as short as possible.

I started dating my girlfriend this time 2 years ago. The experience hasn't been bad because she's all I could wish for in a woman. Very pretty both facially and in physique. Respectful. Been there for me during my down times. Encourages me when things don't go my way. At some point, I thought she was gonna leave because of my financial state but no. She still stuck by me. Even helping me financially to bring me up to my feet.

However, Despite every attempts at steadying my financial imbalance, there was never any progress. We went for a crusade mid last year and the prophet called her out, was praying for her and she was falling under anointing. She was oblivious of what was happening then the man of God delivered a big prophesy that shocked me. He said she is possessed by a spirit which is out to ruin every man she's had something to do with in the past. That a lot of men have been destroyed. My heart raced faster and I couldn't figure out what to do at that point. When she finally got herself, she cleaned up and went home. Came to my house the following morning and asked me what happened. I told her everything the prophet said and she begged me not to leave her. Of course I didn't leave her. We still continued with the relationship. Don't blame me here guys. My belief was that no man or woman has the power to influence what happens to you. That success or financial breakthrough is the end product of hardwork and perseverance. That was why I took that prophesy with a pinch of salt.

Our lives continued. I kept encountering frustrations in my live goals and ambitions. Depts hanging round my neck with no hope in sight. Rents expiring with no plan for renewal. To the point that I had to borrow to feed. These were much that I decided to go see another prophet yesterday. This prophet is different from the first one that hosted a crusade we went for. I decided to go alone this time around and it's located in a different state. In the course of the ministration. The prophet called me out. He told me I should limit things I say to THAT GIRL (my girlfriend). He mentioned to me that my girlfriend is good and it's not her fault. That she is possessed by a spirit that is out to ruin. Responsible for restricting any favor that looks like it's coming my way. Every thing he told me was in tandem with my real life experiences. He prayed for me afterwards and I still went further to meet him. I needed some clarity on whether or not to continue with my relationship. He didn't urge that I breakup. But he advised I should just leave her and focus on my hustle.

My girlfriend has been calling me since yesterday but I've not been picking. I'm confused guys. I know I will eventually pick and talk to her but how do I breakup? Where do I start from? I don't want to tell her what the prophet said about her. My mind is mess rn. Please advice me guys
Behind a successful man there is a woman behind her.. Thats what an adage says.

1)Anyone that tells u to forget those prophet are ur number 1 enemy.
2)your enemy can use whoever u sleeps with to destroy u.
3) nairaland is a place for Christians, Muslims, pagans,Buddha, etc. Most don't believe in spiritual things.

Please note that your semen alone can be used to destroy your success or Goodluck.

If u want to test and see, leave that girl for 1 full year. I mean cut all form of communication, don't eat her food or anything. Then double ur hustle with prayer and compare your results.

I have been here before. I know what u are passing through.

Finally there is more than just what u see or hear.. There is what we call spiritual realm... Realm of power. Don't allow canal mind destroy u

It is gonna be a very long read but I know you will learn a thing or two from this..
I might not be able to touch everything but if you feel there is something I need to share and I didn't, point it out and I will shed more light on it....

This may seems a bit lengthy but you should learn one or two lessons from it..
I come from a not broken not memded marriage same as my wife but hers was worse than mine..
My father used to be a rich man. When car dealing was very lucrative, he was a top notch car dealer in akure.. So along the line, he started fornicating. His was on another level, he always take them abroad to sleep with, shop for them and do every every.. We are five in my family, I being the first born..
I had to train myself through university with photography with the help of my mum too. I remember when I was looking for project money, one of my father's wife, the one that went to give birth in Dubai just came back and they were doing naming ceremony.. I could remember I was in the rain with my mum and they were pointing at us, though we couldn't hear what they were saying.. How did I raise my project money? Sponsoring 5 kids wasn't an easy task since 3 of us was in the university. So I went with my to her work place, she was a nurse so we collected all the aprons used during immunization and washed them.. Then I also hustled to complete the money...
It was a very rough and tough life but all along, we didn't even seem like someone who has a father..

Let me jump to the reason for this thread..
I vowed never to allow whatever happened in my family happen to me in the future..
I met my wife when I was in 200 level.. I was 23 and she was 21..

She is posses by marine spirits I guess and please don't ever sleep with her else through her that spirit will have control over you via your sperm.

You are just talking anyhow. Or do you think I did not know what I said? So because you get backlinks requests, it means it is very important.

Whether you agree or not, backlinks are not as important as they used to be. What's more important to Google is the quality of your articles.

I see niches rank far higher than the so-called sites with backlinks and high DA, just because they more quality articles.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/neilpatel.com/blog/backlink-quality-vs-quantity/amp/

Please from where did u get your claim from? I will like to read to get more insight please.

I think this is my 9th years on blogging and I can tell you that the number of quality backlink you can accumulate will tell how you can rank easily across board

Please note that there is different between quantity useless forum spammed backlink
from quality backlink (backlink that are not easily gotten)

A blog with zero backlink but nice content that is indept will surely struggle to rank and if it rank it will surely take a whole lot of time.

Check the front page of Google from all niche.. Gaming, sport, finance, health, etc. Access their backlink profile. You will notice that all have similarities of having powerful backlink unless in non competitive niche.

I recently bought an expired domain used by a financial company, I think a fintech. I posted first 2 competitive articles that relates to what the backlinks anchor text is all about (u can check that using ahrefs) immediately after 3 days those blog post jump to 5th position and started receiving huge amounts of traffic and even outranked my two other blogs that has same topic of over 2 years plus. Why? Because this has good quality backlinks.

I don't even register new domain again. I go for quality expired domain with great backlink profile that relates to my niche.

From my independent findings, Google places more emphasis on backlink alot.it tells their robot how relevant is your blog. I also found out that anchor text is now given much relevance.
As long as your backlinks are of high quality, and its anchor text is related to your content you are really going to rank very high.

I don't know where u get that statement from that backlink doesn't matter.
