They should be able to tell you workers were being owed six months to nine months salaries before Buhari became head of state. This publication was early time of his administration. Ask people who are your elders about how there was no money in the treasury before Buhari came in. Ask your elders to tell you about how graduates were unable to find job during Shagari regime which prompted why the military removed Shagari government and installed Buhari. Ask your elders about what corruption created in our society. Ask your elders what was it like buying bread, sugar and basic commodities few months before Buhari administration came in to arrest the poor situation we found ourselves in.

Now slow and gently ask your elders what Buhari did to the thieves parading themselves as politicians at the time.

These were the reasons why military had to interfere in the political system on January 1st 1983.
