SportsRe: BREAKING: Arsenal & Barcelona Agree £32m Deal For Alexis Sanchez by fattbabakay(m): 12:28am On Jul 07, 2014
ayomidearo: According to new reports,
Arsenal have struck a £32million
deal with Barcelona for Alexis
Sanchez.
Over the past weeks leading to
the 2014 World Cup, the Chilean
has emerged as top priority for
Arsene Wenger, who is desperate
to bolster his attacking line-up
ahead of the new season.
The Gunners and Barca have now
reached an agreement, after the
Premier League side matched
their valuation of the player.
Barcelona are very close to
agreeing a massive £75million
deal with Liverpool for Luis
Suarez and were hoping Sanchez
would be part of the deal. But the
player remained keen on Arsenal
and now a deal has been sealed
for him to ply his trade in
England next season.
Arsenal now have to negotiate
personal terms with the player, a
procedure the club chiefs are
confident will be done in the
next few days.
dem agree deal,e never sign contract! Even if he does,he never pass medical...M sure barca supporters who are witches re not @ rest, dey must be waiting for him @ a juncture to break d deal...

Danthesage: An ancient Indian sage was teaching his
disciples the art of archery. He put a wooden
bird as the target and asked his disciples to
aim at the eye of the bird. The first disciple
was asked to describe what he saw. He said, " I
see the trees, the branches, the leaves, the
sky, the bird and its eye".
The sage asked this disciple to wait. Then he
asked the second disciple the same question
and he replied, " I only see the eye of the bird".
The sage said, " Very good. Now shoot". The
arrow went straight and hit the eye of the bird.

Unless we focus, we cannot achieve our goal. It
is hard to focus and concentrate, but it is a skill
that can be learned.

Therefore, as we journey through this week let us have a target and religiously fix our gaze on it.

Just have it in mind that if you are target-oriented then your trajectory to that target will never be tiring.

HAPPY NEW WEEK!

ashhascash: Nice piece.

A helmsman can't effective sail d ship without a great team of marine engineers etc
Also GEJ cant effectively sail Nigeria's ship without tactically good (which i tink we lack) squad of ministers, senators nd d likes. We jux hope our "ship" wont experience wat happened to Titanic.

Our leaders have to be conscious of JF Kennedy's words "Our progress as a nation can be no swifter dan our progress in education, d human mind is our fundamental resource".
They shud bury d "if education is expensive, try ignorance" mentality.

D time used in addressing frivolities should be channelled towards strategising d future of our educational sector because d better d now, d greater d 2moro.

NOW TO THE MATTER THAT CONCERNS ME

My Once-Upon-A-Time great Ife Obafemi Awolowo University management knew so well that d school fees will still be hiked when they joined ASUU on a marathon-like 6mnths compulsory holiday(strike), claiming they were fighting for d PURPOSE of WE students,we were still waiting patiently to witness d so-called purpose of d strike when we were brought back to d bitter reality by a hot slap on our collective face with d reality of a 320% increment in fees which even Paul The Octopus couldn't have predicted, not to talk of TB Joshua.

Thumbsup to d ever-conscious Student Union Group, who rose against d inhumane decision to say NO to such form of injustice ; Freedom they say,can never be willingly given by d oppressor,if not rightfully demanded by d oppressed.

Kudos to Ibikunle(SUG president) and his cohorts,I owe y'all 50cents when we finally win this struggle grin, but how long will this lingerhuhhuhhuh?? I know quite well that we've gone too FAR (progressively or not),we can't afford to turn back now BUT y'all should all remember that TIME is like an eagle,It FLIES and Life is too short for a real n!gga to just sit and watch days flip off his age all in d name of aluta. Also bear it in mind that making media campaign and speeches up and down might not solve this issue,go and ask Jonathan, even d devil will have to get a calculator to know how many media speeches he has made concerning Boko Haram, and whoever knows when their next attack will be.Getting on camera is not a solution,we need ACTIONS not Media Attentions.

And now students just sit at home, all WE do is cram twitter hashtags, pick online beefs, engage in intense worldcup arguments and even form dry jokes about d so much anticipated resumption just to kill boredom. We seem to have been caught between sylas and charybdis,a complete dilemma and a boring tug-of-war.Now my desperate hommies are blaming d SUG for their being at home and my determined real n!ggaz keep on shouting 'Aluta Continua',waiting impatiently for d victory to be ascertained.

Finally, anyone who knows anybody that somhow somewhere knows Ibikunle (SUG president) should tell him to forget all actions coming through reactions, giving him tensions and temptations, for he's in progression in proportion to our success. But increase your volume + move closer to his left ear and tell him to : flee every time-wasting communications and get a good conception,as we need corrections to this ongoing media predictions, for this is d session to make a decision as we all are on motion with little or no time meant for reasonable/unreasonable aluta donations.

I can go on divulging my views but "He Who Talks And Chill Lives To Talk Another Day".

EducationMust Read : Fattkay's Views On National Issue! by fattbabakay(op):
Writing this piece of write-up out of frustration and recurrent sighs,I just think it's high time I voiced out what's bugging my mind as per this whole theatre of art being acted out by some superior forces in d nation's educational sector at d expense of innocent students who just sit down cluelessly as d audience, watching d boring drama with hands on cheeks and mouths at ease.

First of all, concerning d recent recurrent indefinite summer-like holidays (I hate using d word "strike"wink ,COEASU and ASUU have been on it for months and counting, who knows if it's gonna end anytime soon.

And who on earth is to be blamed?? Goodluck Ebele Jonathan?? I'm not being decisive but I bet it wasn't like this when he stepped into that office shoeLESSLY claiming he'll build castles in d air.
Shoutouts to Nyeson Wike,Minister Of Education, who goes around dancing off musical tunes and boycotting important meetings despite the unrest in d sector he WAS meant to supervise.
Hitting d nail on d head,I'll cast my blame on Jonathan, how can u go to d moon on a doubtful wing of erratic chances, how can u appoint an allegedly failed lawyer as d minister of such delicate sector as education.Minister Wike's lapses are just so obvious, even d president cannot claim oblivious of that fact.Perhaps he was appointed to that post coz he knows someone who knows someone that knows another politically influential somebody in d political realm,if that's d case, then Jonathan should have considered throwing him into one of those inactive and very dry sectors like ( Ministry Of Special Duties cheesy) where all he'll do is sit,sip a couple cups of coffee and wait to be called up for his own share of d national cake...It's just so pathetic that those who are supposed to be hiding their heads in shame are d ones galivanting around, brutalising our psyche and claiming they are d messiah.
---D educational sector which once looked rosy and shinny under d impeccable coordination of d likes of Prof, Babs Fafunwa ; Prof. Ruqayat Rufai ; F.N.C. Osuji ,now seems layered in a thin crust of sinister dust under our big boss,Nyeson Wike!!!
---A sector which is meant to enrich our horizon has snowboarded into an hydra-headed problem which takes d form of a cankerworm, eating deep into d fabrics of d society.
---Certainly,this sector needs some changes, some trenches need some cutting, some pillars need erecting and d flooring needs some scrubbing.

Finally,Anyone who knows anybody that knows someone who knows somebody that knows Jonathan should advise him to chill out of that office,he can go with his shoes if he cares,d situation facing this country is off his hook and near his throat. If situations continue like this,it will so much get out of hand that before we can get this nation back on track,we'll need a SINGLE SOMEBODY who will have d " Wealth Of Bill Gates ; D Physique Of Arnold ; D Intelligence Of Albert Eistein ; D Business Prowess Of Donald Trump ; D Social Grace Of Jackie Kennedy ; D creativity Of Walt Disney and D Heart Of Mother Theresa" all combined in HIM to lead us right to our route.Sounds impossible right? That's d nerve!!!
