When people see a spade and call it hand trowel. Since when do people stop expressing "ideas" on social media/forum? I expect people like you to know better. I'm not asking you to like, want or favour Biafra and her cause, but the truth is always very glaring there for all of us to see, but we always choose to look away.

This seun of a guy is showing what a dictator he is, or he's been bought over, or warned, or all of the above. He has NO RIGHT to trample on people's right to freedom of speech/expression. It's not done. Not in this century. And on a social network again? Oh, God! Someone should wake me up when this iguesss all over. undecided

And just so you know... He doesn't own Nairaland anymore. We all do.
I don't understand what you mean by he doesn't own Nairaland anymore. As far as I know, he still owns it. We all are just here to drive traffic with our posts and everything. But at the end of the day, he kinda has the final say.

Freedom of speech on Nairaland? But there has never been complete freedom of speech here. Nairaland is more or less an autocratic site where mods are constantly deleting people's 'opinions' everyday. It is part of what you signed up for when you decided to be a registered member.

The funny thing is, I'm secretly gunning for biafra, for personal reasons. But the owner of the house has said he doesn't want it, so either abide by the rules or take the movement somewhere else

Miscellaneous:
say all u can.... seun will not marry u. I am proud to be from Warri & I'm not in support of biafra but this seun said is balderdash & it's skewed....
I'm from Warri too, and I actually want biafra to happen so that we can hear word. Also, I think Seun can be a dictator and a tad childish. But unfortunately, I'm with him on this one.

And if you really believe he'll come and marry me just because of this, then I'm tempted to compare your IQ level to the size of my shoe. But if you were being sarcastic, then touche!

You can only stop the people (Ojukwu and other heroes).
You can NEVER stop the idea.
Nobody's saying stop the idea. Of course, we know the struggle will continue

All Seun's saying is DON'T do it on Nairaland forum

And if somehow this thing dies down now but later springs up in say, 10 years time because the 'idea' can't be stopped... still DON'T do it on Nairaland forum

I'm with Seun on this one.

As much as it may sound unfair to pro-biafrans, Nairaland is technically a NIGERIAN-inspired forum. So naturally, any movement that incites or promotes the disintegration of this foundation should not be tolerated.

*Moving on

So I read this and remembered how 2 fools tried to 'gang-rape' me. The time I spent on the football pitch really paid off as I was able to direct a heavy kick at their testicles. I kicked the nonsense like my life depended on it. Maybe, it did. Who knows??
They looked like they were about to die, with the way they were clutching at their stomachs. Wetin concern me sha? I just run commot mehn!

Ebonyi state has started construction of fly over bridges in Abakaliki and project was started about five months ago yet faster than what okorohausa is doing.

Don't involve Ebonyi in your bigotry. Be warned.
Lol! I see you're one of those NL local champions, but no be my post you go use collect medal sha!

If you can't dialogue like a civilised being without throwing empty threats, abeg stay out of my mentions. Which one is 'be warned'? Or else what?? You will turn those flappy ears to wings, fly down here and shoot me? You will send those weak nkaliki boys to beat me up? Or what??

It's not like I even insulted the man or anything, so what is bringing all that talk of bigotry. Someone can't make a constructive comment on NL again without toothless bulldogs raining dead threats up and down??

Abeg park well jare!
PoliticsRe: Landlocked Biafra Will Be An Economic Hell On Earth. by Favolly(f): 11:41am On Dec 07, 2015
size40:
Except for those who don't know. But for many of us down here in south-south, we know that the 2 major reasons why the Igbos want the people of south-south to be part of their separatists movement is; the oil and access to sea and port facilities to enable them continue their importation business. Check the whole of Igbos land they do not have access to the sea the way we South-south have. From Calabar straight to Edo even stretched to Ondo and Lagos states all these States have great access to the Atlantic Ocean. So that is the reason why the Igbos at all cost want the south-south people to be part of Biafra. They see it as whether we like it or not that we are Biafrans. If u doubt me, just engage on this Biafra disscusion with any Igbo man and tell d person ur a Rivers, Akwa Ibom person but ur not part of Biafra and see how he will insult u as if u have no right to say ur a nigerian. I encounter them here everyday in port harcourt. I challenge on d street, cab, football viewing centers etc. Some of which have made me their personal enemies. Yet they cant do anything to me because me i hold ground for my Area and zone. Not that the Igbos love us so much and the Hsusas and the Yorubas hates us so much as being painted by the Biafrans led by one Nnamdi Kanu of Radio Biafra. Igbos is land is seriously a landlocked zone. Tompolo's boat can't even sail in Onitsha river how much more a cargo vessel or ship.
Lol! Leave them, let them keep trying to drag us into their mess. Dreamers!

A voice no longer tainted with politics, a voice of wisdom and objectivity...

Great article, and these are the take home messages:

1. “New cultural realities should command certain limits”

2. “The laws on rape must become more progressive and enlightened"

3. “The family, the most important social unit, has a role to play. The inferiorization of the female gender often begins in the home"

4. “Parents, keep an eye on your sons and daughters! Both male and female children should be brought up to respect ethical values and the rights of other human beings to dignity”

The article said it all

And this right here is the reason I can't even feel sorry for this woman. I don't know why women always blindly support their men in these situations. So desperate to hold on to their “marriage” and "husband” that they convince themselves that anybody who has anything contrary to say is an "enemy". I can vividly remember how she was just ranting all over twitter dragging Beverly in the mud, calling everybody believing the accusations dumb and senseless, talking about the truth being unfolded and all.

I'm tempted to say this is karma and it serves her right, but the truth is that no one deserves this. Ladies, when a woman like yourself cries out of abuse you need not drag her down even further than she has been already. Even if you dont believe her, the last thing you want to do is behave like a raging bull. Wisdom?! Can we learn to apply these in our everyday lives??
