Thanks so much bro.. It's my sponsors account and I plan to apply with it by month end. Am skeptical cos the account statement will stop at first week of jan but the print out date will show this week . Please gurus advice . Isn't it a red flag? Has it worked for anyone before ? bamjay: i would like to ask u some qstns first. 1.are u sponsoring urself? if not ur SOA may not b necessary unless u v been working for some time. 2.if u say 2weeks i want to assume that is like d first week of this month(jan). right? 3. when do u intend to submit ur application? u cannot use an SOA that is older than a month. so if u wld b submitting ur application on or befre 2 weeks time u can use ur SOA like that. 4. ob the other hand, i heard that they usually call d banks to verify ur account balance. i cannot b too sure. if they do i hope ur present acct balance doesnt deviate so much from wat u v from ur SOA?
pls wait for gurus to respond on this these r just my thoughts |

I think sometimes, one or two documents we submit could discredit our entire application. You submitted a study leave letter to go for a ug course. That could have been counter productive except you could give a Gud reason why your employer should grant you a study leave for 4 years. [quote author=Sammypraise post=38119598]@ thesoj, thanks alot ; |

Bros ...... If showing flight itinerary can backfire.... Don't you think same goes for paying advanced tuition? Cos cic website advises all applicants not to pay tuition before visa approval. Onyeoma3: Even if he wishes to send a compassionate letter to CIC, I would advise he leaves out the flight itinerary, cos it might backfire.... They advise against paying for flight till you get your TRV...

Pm me. I can help you with a sample. mcqueen1: Hello house,
Picked up my package today and got 3 reasons for denial. Purpose of visit, travel history and personal asset and financial status.
Documents submitted: All CIC documents Sponsors SOA of over 6m after paying 10kCad Sponsor's CAC docs Sponsors data page Letter from sponsors coy Sponsors affidavit List of sponsors dependants My personal SOA of 400k All my certs Letter from workplace.
Way forward: To tackle finances I intend to: *attach my personal CAC doc registered in June(I am to resume business upon return) *Make sponsor state exactly how much he is willing to drop *attach my landed property(tho it's just the agreement papers and purchase receipt I have plus it has a different address as i have changed residence) which is why I didn't include it initially. *create an income vs expenses spreadsheet (I need a sample of this from the house pls)
Purpose of visit: SOP indicating how studying will help me startup and properly run my business my business upon return.
Travel history: Travelled to Ghana once and I intend to leave it at that.
I intend to reapply asap.
I welcome advice from the house and also a sample of the income vs expenses spreadsheet.
Thanks. |

Yes it's normal if you did paper application. Passport request is for online applicants. ayoshyne: Please house, my original international passport was collected with my documents during visa application submission. Is that ok? Cos I see from comments of folks on here saying they submitted their passport after CIC requested for it. Please enlighten me friends. Thanks. |

Yes people have gotten their trv without making any upfront payment. It's all about how you package your application. abbyyzino: my sponsor will not release such money until they issue the study permit bro, beside the refund policy of the university if the CIC rejects study permit is another issue. I want to know if there's anyone that got his/her permit without paying the part payment. |

wow... this is a spectacular miracle. congrats. I actually wouldn't have believed that a trv would be approved without those "vital" documents been that your purpose of visit is to study. Can you kindly share the documents you submitted including amount in your sponsors soa. i really want to know what stood out in your application. I believe others will learn from your case too. tkdina: Jesus the Son of God I believe in you, I believe in you
submitted application on 10th June. Biometrics: 12th June. Medical mail: 17th August. Request for passport:21st August. (Dropped on 24th August.) Approval mail, TRV and pick up mail: 26th August (yesterday)
I applied for my application before I started following the Naira Land. I realised that the documents I submitted were quite different from what most people that got their TRV submitted. I later felt stupid for not included my Transcript, Waec result, school certificate, birth certificate, police report, even asset owned by my sponsor was not there, primarily certificate, University certificate, etc...
But the Hope I had in God, my believe and Faith in God turned my weakness to strength. I also read about the lady that was denied twice and was given TRV after appeal. She said we should read Mark 11v 12. I held on to that verse and I got a break through
I give God the Glory.
And I wish those that are still Hoping for TRV the very Best.
Thank you all. |

You already have MBA and your going for PGC. Don't think the VO will see that as an academic progression. A Phd should be more ideal. habukoh: @hayqinsbfx I graduated over nine years ago, got my ACA(Ican) in 2009 and finished my MBA this year January. My sponsor is my employer because of new line of business just entered into (energy Trading) currently I work as a project accountant but will switch to Oil trader after the completion of the programme. the course was international business too. no difference. |

I personally feel bad bout this cos u have really been helpful to me . Something bigger is definitely coming your way. Stay determined bro. TempusQ: DELAYED 1) Travel history (Applied with a virgin passport) 2) Family ties in Canada and country of residence 3) Purpose of Visit (UG; Logistics Management, Job; Logistics and Supply Chain Management Firm) 4) Personal Assets and financial status.
Humber College Program: Supply Chain Management. Paid Agent (Maple Education) NGN160K + USD1,500 = NGN506,500.
Being delayed is more like a blessing in disguise for me, so, please don't tell me sorry. Although it hurts real bad especially the the money I paid to agent. |
