Christianity Etc › Re: If You Marry Wife Through Facebook, You Will Lose Her On Youtube- Pastor Adeboye by FAVOUR13: 7:50pm On Apr 02, 2017 |
Splinz: If this remark really came from Adeboye, then it's really an unfortunate one.
This statement is akin to saying: "All Facebook users are worthless". Adeboye of all people should have known that people use sites like Facebook for different reasons; both business and pleasure.
So, that one meets a woman on Facebook that appeals to him and marry her, does not in anyway translate to losing that same woman to other social sites.
In fact, this statement has little or no sense at all! You got him wrong. His message was that people should be careful in marrying people they don't really know example somebody you met on Facebook that you don't no much about his or her family background |

Monicks: He has done well my friends. "Hear Say" is still not forbidden here. We should evaluate every post and make good meanings out of it. If anyone else comes here to say that the whole thing will be in December this year or next, I will understand, as long as the budget is yet to be approved by the red chamber. Which budget again? Wasn't 16 billion naira approved in the last year's budget for the purpose of this recruitment? If you are talking about this year's budget, then it should be for a different purpose. The thing now is just God o. I mean only God knows their mind |

Hassan080196: Honestly. Without looking afar sef, look at what they're doing to us in school. Christian professors can do anything to fail a Muslim student. They even went far by not granting Muslim students admission into some faculties . UI is an example of that. I was once a victim while also many of my Muslim friends were. Worst is the Muslims. This is not even limited to academics, but even appointments. Christians have been marginalized in the northern part of Nigeria. You know this well pls don't pretend. If you have any evidence where a Christian professor denies a Muslim person admission into any university pls present it. Mind you admission matters is not a duty of single individual |

Christianity Etc › Re: My Experience At A Church Today Almost Made Me Cry by FAVOUR13: 12:36pm On Jan 10, 2016 |
Weeee: I was at a Church today and I almost wept for the black race. Is it that people don't read their Bibles or they just choose to be gullible and stupid?
The Pastor or Prophet as he claimed he was always said that he isn't a beggar and he doesn't need anybody's money, but his actions were quite different. He acted like a beggar to me.
He was even so bold to request for so much money from his members and they saw nothing wrong at all. Okay, let me list all the money he collected so you can see for yourselves.
1) Who wants to give God the biggest note he/ she has in his/ her pocket?
2) Brown envelope.
3) White envelope.
4) Offering
5) Who wants to give money to the visiting Prophet? Tell the prophet thank you, Sow a seed now.
6) If you have 5000, 10,000 or any big amount of money you want to give to God.
Women came out mostly and I must say the church made almost N200, 000 or even more in just a day and this happens every Tuesday and other days they fellowship.
Things I noticed about the church...
1) The Pastor is an owner of a big car, while the members were mostly poor women and few men.
2) The Pastors dressed far better than the members. In fact, the members looked like people with lots of financial problems.
3) The only things the members get from these Pastors are prayers and a promise that God will reward them in 2016. I remember that I went to this same church some years back and the members still looked the same with no much of a change.
When will Nigerians get back to their senses to realize that these Pastors are using their beliefs, emotions and gullibility to steal all the money they have?
Only when we begin to think and come to a reasonable conclusion that God doesn't need money, but humans do, that is when we will begin to think right.
I wish I could take a video of what went on. MR OP, PLEASE LEAVE THAT FOR GOD TO JUDGE, AND CONCENTRATE ON AMENDING YOUR WAYS WITH HIM. IF YOU CAN DO I SERIOUS CHECK ON YOUR LIFE, YOU MAY BE SURPRISE THAT YOU'RE DOING WORST THAN THAT. THANK YOU |

OP YOU ARE TOO BIASED. I GUESS YOU ARE A YORUBA. IT WAS THE YURUBAS THAT FIRST ATTACK THE NUPES. THE NUPES WERE NOT EVEN PREPARED FOR ANYTHING LIKE THIS; THEY NEVER EXPECTED THAT THE YORUBAS WILL STILL DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT. THE NUPES I KNOW ARE PEACE LOVING PEOPLE. PLEASE, DONT COME HERE AND PAINT THEM BLACK. I KNOW THE TWO TOWN VERY WELL. YORUBAS ARE ALWAYS THE ONE TO ALWAYS FIRST LUNCH ATTACK ON THE NUPES dainformant: Here are photos from the mayhem allegedly carried out by the people of Tsaragi, a Nupe speaking town in Share, Ifelodun Local Government Area of Kwara State. According to reports, there have always been communal issues between a Yoruba dominated Share and Tsaragi since the 90s. This recent attack on the community reportedly started after a disagreement over the felling of some trees at the UMCA school on Share land. This allegedly led the Tsaragi people to attack their victims with machetes, rods and guns.

Romance › Re: Can A Guy and a lady be "Just Friends"? by FAVOUR13: 11:01am On Dec 25, 2015 |
Toks2008: A MAN OR WOMAN CAN NOT BE JUST FRIENDS WITH THE OPPOSITE SEX
It’s no secret: guys and girls being "just friends" is a concept held by only the dreamers. Any lady who believes that she can be just a friend with a guy other than co-worker, co-student, or just on a platonic hi-hi level is in-fact the most myopic lady to walk on this planet
A guy’s friends consist of, well, only guys. The only reason a guy would go close to a girl would be to date or bed her. No guy is going to waste his time just being a friend with a girl because it’s not like she is a sports freak or a trans-gendered.
Guys have enough guy friends and won’t waste their time listening to ladies talk from a girl just to be their friend. Plain and simple he wants to bed you except of course you don't mind or he has not made it obvious yet.
Guys being friends with girls is a farce: either he wants to sleep with her, or she still believes in unicorns, because a guy cannot genuinely be friends with a girl and its either the lady secretly desires him or vis avis even while one of the two are ignorant of this.
In-fact i always tell a guy or lady to be more at alert when your bae says this about another opposite sex.."we are just friends,we enjoy each other's company,we are just fond of each other" because once you start hearing this from your bae,you should run because fondness is stronger than the feeling of love and what your bae will not dicsuss with you will be discussed freely with that person so of what use is the affair you are having?
I know some people will say not in all cases and i quite agree but there is a simple test to know if there is no hidden notion or surpressed desire so please as a lady just prove me wrong? give that just friend of yours a kiss and watch him stop you. After-all you guys ought to be just friends.
And for the married man, snap out of your delusion and tell yourself hard fact...YOU ARE OLOJU KOKORO...Let your wife be your only friend, best friend and close friend and same for the lady.
Keeping "friends" of the opposite sex while married or committed to someone is an emotional affair and its even worse than actual physical affair.
Just trying to make common sense. OP u be OLODO! Is relationship all about sexual affairs? Must of my good and reliable friends are females and I am married. My wife knows them, like wise the husband know me |

You don't need "YEARS" to wait and see if you have a chance with her or not,if you are a reasonable guy,you will know how far and take the required step.
#Rapsodee You're on point my brother. I'm having similar experience right now. I felt I'm just too sincere with her. Perhaps they want it the other way round. Just that I always feel I shouldn't cheat on any lady |

Jamean: I was here to read comments and make deductions.
Funnily, most ladies can outrightly tell if they can date a guy from the first show of interest. They only choose to live in denial. If you know you feel a connection and you are ready to work things out, then give it a shot.
Stop the long thing 'cause you may lose a potential partner that way. And for the guys...e ni suru...we just like to be women Lady, you're right. I always feel I should approach a lady with a sincere mind and the lady should also respond the same way if actually she luvs me |
