Health / Re: Itching After Bathing - I Need Help... by Favourednwa: 5:09pm On Aug 12, 2017
Mbkite:
Doctors and all concerned nairalanders, I really need to know if there is any treatment for itching especially after morning bath. I have used up all means known to me including, bathing hot water, applying aboniki after bath, etc. I brought this to nairaland believing to get a lasting solution. Thank you my good people.
1) use a mild soap
2) moisturizer your body after bathing. I tried out a lot but Palmer's cocoa butter formula with vitamin e did it for me.
3) till you find the right moisturizer use loraditine
4) visit a dermatologist

[quote author=ifunayalov post=55134769]Bisola has a sensitive side and I actually like her. she seems to have been moulded by events in her life.

but she can work on herself if she wants to. she has real potential and she also needs to work on her feminine side and self worth. she needs to work on her baser nature and have more self control over her mouth and body

I love the advice she gave Tboss

The true irony of what happened this morning is that bisola and Tboss have more similarities then they think, one is loud and aggressive and has the ability to shade you with a joke, while the other gives shades with her nasty attitude. While they can dish out they can not take. Both are as real as it gets in the house.
Ama throw some votes Tboss way this week, but will vote for bisola anytime

Bear in mind, it may be a recent introduction of not more than 15 years. Some people here are much older, so it's not ignorance. It's a generational movement...
It didn't happen during my Junior School too, but I know when it was introduced much later.

It's not recent. I did and my boys did too.

My boys did geography, chemistry, in fact the school offered a wide range of subjects, that is how the students determine whether they choose science, art or social sciences in ss.
But I don't know if it is a compulsory curriculum for all schools

Well, others have also made moves if you actually followed it closely. Their videos is flying up and down. Though he overdue by waking at the middle of the night when she was asleep. He deserved the punishment for this because it's was actually without the lady's concent or approval. Likewise the lady that led him on from the start of the show to believe she was into him and he wasn't making the advances also attributed to it.

Why didn't he try that rubbish with Uriel or Marvis?? But TBOSS
He has tried with others and big brother has warned him several times. She had on so many occasions let him know that she is not into him.

Am just trying to point out that both parties are wrong

How will a lady share the same bed with a Man that is not her relation nor her husband? The Bible advice us to flee from temptation.

Am not ashamed of telling the story because I want others to learn. That doesn't really mean am a badass.
Is he the only man sharing bed with a female in that house , why have others not molested every other female in the house.

I remember that Kemen said something about starting sex early (sexual molestation) I think his rapey vibes might be as a result of the trama. O hope biggy helps him get help.
A high % of abusers were victims too.

@bolded go and meet the dudes who date rape a lady and preach that to them, am not lacking in decorum.

Now for your misconstrued opinion, trusted male friend yea? And yet most of the peeps i know who got raped or abuse was from relations? So where do we place that?

If you had read carefully my post espescially the one in response to janellmonae, you would have seen what the essence of my premise is. I will state it out for you if comprehension is difficult.

Its that women should not put themselves in predicaments that will can cause them to be raped or abused or any of their relation in that circumstance as the effects are quite dire. Nobody is arguing consent should not be sought out first what we are saying is that have your boundaries well spelled out and adhered to. Its better to avoid than to start talking about western ideology and what amount of sentence should be meted out. Save yourself the headache.

For a soon to be grandma, one would expect you to see sense in what am saying. undecided

Your response to my call to research is sad.
If you research, you would have known the history of America.
The saddest part is that you are a very good writer. With a little research you will be almost perfect. Information is key and is never a waste. Till you start writing things you have knowledge about I will press the ignore button. Bye

I am not doing a research about Africa,if thats how its done in your part, dont judge others or lump everyone into your view formed from your place or environment.

I know my part well enough, and i need no research on that one.

Just for the record, I dated a girl who was raped for good three years, or better put, sexual abuse from the age of 6 to 9. Trust me, you have no idea how much I went through in her hand.

But you know the ironic thing, she still repeatedly put herself in such situation and when I get mad at her, she says its not her fault that she expected the guy not to make any move. I just shake my head.

Plus I know 3 other females, the last one I encountered, I lost her entirely as a friend as a result of it, it was like a dark omen perpetually encircled over her. That sweetness in her was completely gone. And she was damn pretty!

So given what I have see, I advice women to take charge of situations and not give circumstances that can create such occurence.

Do you know what they all had in common, it was done by someone who was quite close to them, most of them were family relations.
There is something called basic human right.
I have a right as a female to go and hang out with a 'trusted male friend and not get date raped.
It's not all about the victim it's about the offender who has refused to learn self control or self discipline.
No matter what a woman wears or where she goes it's not an invitation to rape her.
I can write an epistle about this but am too lazy jor. But I hope you change your mind set
PS
Rape victims are not conformed to people that dress provocatively it also happens to Mary Amaka dressers.
2) you friend is obviously suffering as a result of her traumatic experience and needs help.

Perhaps in yourregion they walked around naked. As far back as I have know where I hail from we never walked naked plus least then were women have their rappers below heir breasts.

Point two, women then barely stayed till the age of 20 or 21 before they got married. I think my grandparents got married at the age. So things like pent up sexual irge could not have been prevalent.

Point three which is the most important, my mum even still echoed in their times it was a taboo to collect anything from someone who has an interest in you, and even if it is to be so it will go through the father or any other relations with the father being privy. Anything short of that is a taboo.

The only time you and your suitor are to be together under the same roof alone is when you both have been married after both family have done their due consultations of each others family. That was just about 6 decades ago.

The failure to grab what I mean by western ideology only meaning walking around naked shows you are not really conscious of the rapidly evolving changes in the world particularly Africa and most other conservative countries.
Your response says it all, I will advise you do some research about africa before and after colonisation.

Amen and you too bruh. One of the reasons why I hate India so much is because of the high rate of rape in that country and the nonchalant attitude of their government to eradicate it.Believe me bruh,I aint joking I've dated a rape victim before for good three years but there was nothing like sex because I was afraid to do so.She is very fragile till date due to the trauma of her rape. Some ladies became lesbians due to issues like, rape etc.I curse every rapists out there, nemesis will surely catch up with them.
My brother rape is also high in this country. The statistics is not accurate cos girls find it difficult to come forward exactly because of this attack of victim you are witnessing here.
Some times fellow women are most critical and judgmental than men. More often than not they prefer to blame the victim

Bruh! the stigma and trauma is very delicate and difficult to overcome.I'm speaking from experience;I've dated a rape victim before so I know more about rape victims and their sufferings.
Thank you for this. I feel a lot of people are talking like this because the have not experienced or seen the trauma that victims go through. Some live with it till they die
