The intelligence of the Igbos can never be equalled by any tribe in this country. The conspiracy of other tribes against the Igbos has been the bane (ruiner) of Nigeria. Goodluck Jonathan who never did any meaningful thing for Ndigbo was chased out hurriedly ostensibly that he was favoring Ndigbo. Yorubas bought into that trick sold by the North. The same middle belt region miserably fighting for survival today swore that Jonathan would never be president again. They succeeded with that threat. Brig. Idiagbon was encouraged to change his name to Yoruba (where his mother came from) so as to buy into the Yoruba race. Yorubas didn't know but Igbos knew. Later, the same Idiagbon started putting all Yorubas in prison. These ''sophisticated people'' have kept saying that Igbos don't understand Nigerian Politics. what concern DHL and NDLEA on Monday this week a friend of mine send me a parcel from Luxembourg down to Nigeria which contain used iPhone 6 and 2 pair of earrings it weight 1kg & on Tuesday dhl called me that I have a parcel and I need to pay 26k for custom clearing and I did so,and jst yesterday 31/01/2018 they said I should tell the sender to send her proof of purchase of the items and data page of passport, Working permit and a short note to state the relationship with me.thinking DAT he won't be able to provide them but to their dismay he provided every single details they needed and even more,so I went further to track the parcel with the tracking code and I saw that the parcel is on hold I have been calling DHL customer care they pick up my calls at first i told them the issue & they didnt say anything thereafter they stop taking my call or pick up & dont say anything why I hear voice talking at the background as u read this message they no longer take my calls . what should I do now?

If you're sure that the parcel doesn't contain any form of narcotics or contraband items within the confines of Nigerian Laws, then stop calling them on phone. Go there yourself and find out the reason(s) your parcel has been put on hold. If their reasons are ostensible, then get a Lawyer to do the needful and claim charges, after all the items were checked overseas, certified, cleared and despatched. Nonetheless, I'm a regular DHL customer and I'm sure the problem just emanated from Nigeria, not overseas. Good luck to you as you pursue your case.
