They're probably honest guys around her asking her to come over and being honest about what they'll give her in return, but it's obvious that the guy's promise of (laptop, hair money, and upkeep money) made her lose her guard.

This is one of the easy ways girls get scammed, even online (Someone promises them heaven and earth, and says they should just pay a small clearance fee to customs for what they've got them, and just like that they're scammed).
