PoliticsAtiku Visa Ban: Shehu Sani Decries FG ‘unpatriotic’,’condemnable’ Act by feddis(op): 3:01pm On Nov 30, 2018
A Senator representing Kaduna Central, Shehu Sani, Friday, condemned the ruling All Progressives Congress’ move to discourage the United States from lifting an alleged Visa ban imposed on People’s Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar

“Telling a foreign country not to grant visa to your fellow citizen on the ground that he is a candidate; and with no ‘proven case of criminal offense ’ or breach of national or international law, is not just an unpatriotic act but a condemnable act,” Sani said twitter on Friday.

This is coming less than 24 hours after the federal government told the U.S. to be cautious in granting a visa to Abubakar, in order not to create the impression of endorsing him for the 2019 election.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, gave the government’s position at an interactive session with media executives in Abuja on Thursday.

Mohammed said the government was aware of the move by the former vice president to lobby the U.S. to lift the visa ban imposed on him.

“We understand and appreciate the fact that it is the prerogative of the U.S. to grant a visa to anyone who applies.” Lai Mohammed said

“However, we want the U.S. to be neutral and be wary of taking any decision that will give the impression that they are favouring or endorsing one candidate over the other,”

Uhuru has not been indicted for forgery.
Buhari has.

He has made so many fake and blind promises.
He definitely has to come and defend his false promises and his fraudulent cabinet that is filled up with corrupt and uneducated individuals.

PoliticsDon’t Die Of Heart Attack When Atiku Walks On Red-carpet In US – Timi Frank by feddis(op): 11:50am On Nov 30, 2018
A onetime Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Timi Frank, on Friday lambasted the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed for cautioning the United States, US, against granting visa to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

Rubbishing the remark by Mohammed, Frank said Nigerians will “joyfully elect Abubakar in the forthcoming elections and not Americans.”

In a statement he forwarded to DAILY POST, the former APC spokesperson reminded the Minister that the American government does not believe in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari which has since been described as “lifeless” by President Donald Trump.

Frank stated that the Waziri of Adamawa has “become a nightmare and a sleepless tablet for the government of APC,” hence the “total loss of common senses by some of its officials.”

Frank warned Mohammed and other “APC’s apologists against heart attack when they later see Atiku Abubakar, being received on a red carpet very soon in the United States of America.”

While challenging APC government to provide just one evidence of corruption perpetrated by Atiku Abubakar, Frank said the same failed government that said the Waziri Adamawa could not visit America was already “jittery now that Atiku is poised to prove them wrong.”

According to Frank, it was easier for the Minister to, “bring APC to power with lies and propaganda against President Goodluck Jonathan but it is now impossible to sustain the lies because of their obvious failures.”

The statement reads, “Why is Lai Mohammed speaking from both sides of the mouth? The Minister is about to lose his job that’s why he is talking like someone under the influence of codeine or tramadol. The simple advice for Mr. Mohammed’s close allies is to get him tested for probably the negative effects of banned substances.

“At this stage, it is too late to stop America from granting Atiku entry Visa because the country has confirmed that it has nothing against the Presidential candidate of the PDP.

“Instead of this clueless government to seek for help from the American government in fighting the resurgent Boko Haram and fully liberate the people of the North-east from the hands of insurgents, what is more important to Lai Mohammad and the APC’s government is the issuance of U.S. Visa to Atiku.

“The American government will not fall for propaganda from a lifeless government like that of APC and President Muhammadu Buhari in granting Visa to anybody because it is a place where rule of law is strictly adhered to.

“Unlike a lawless APC government that attempts to disallow rain from dropping on the rooftops of political opponents, the America government is built on trust, fairness, justice and the fear of God,” Frank replied Mohammed.

Anyone looking at these with hypocrisy is simply a fool with no equal.

APC has almost not lost any election conducted since they came into power. It is valid and arguably right for the PDP chairman to stand up to these right from now.

In 2015, Buhari threatened Nigeria with crisis through his supporters if he had lost it.

But if PDP today returned such threats, every single member will be detained and charged to court because we now have a tyrant in power.

But hypocrites will jump on this topic with misguided nuisance and false accusations towards PDP and it's members.

Politics2019 Presidency : Ezekwesili, Atiku Draw Swords As CUPP Shortlists 5 Candidates by feddis(op): 3:35pm On Nov 29, 2018
The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP, has shortlisted five candidates to be considered as joint candidates ahead of the 2019 presidential election.

The CUPP was formed majorly with the single aim of sacking the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019.

The over 40 political parties had agreed to pick a single candidate to battle President Buhari.

A statement made available to DAILY POST on Thursday by Olisa Ogbakoba, the Chairman, National Intervention Movement and member, CUPP Candidate Selection Committee, said, “Given that the main thrust of the Coalition is to win the 2019 Presidential Elections through a process of joint collaboration, CUPP has shortlisted 5 Presidential Candidates to be considered for selection as the Joint Candidate of the opposition parties in the 2019 Presidential Elections.

“The Presidential candidate of the PDP came out in front on the early ballot but followed by very 4 strong contenders.

“The criteria for shortlisting the 5 candidates was based on agreed terms by members of CUPP, included National Spread and Structure, experience, public office holders such as Governors, National Assembly, etc, financial capacity, organization strength of parties, capacity to man the 120,000 polling units across Nigeria, etc.

“Members of CUPP re-affirmed commitment to present a Joint Candidate for the 2019 Presidential Elections and work towards establishing a government of National Unity.”

Certainly you still believe Nigeria still lives in the age of having to lobby governors to make things right.
Despite that, there's always a diplomatic approach towards restructuring if only if you read Atiku's plan.

Sometimes a little bit of reading saves a lot of unnecessary drama.

helinues:
Atiku, please stop using restructuring as one of your campaign promises. You are probably intentionally lieing to some set of people.

It is not possible within a year.

How would you ( Atiku) lobbies Adamawa state governor, senate and rep to vote in favour of restructuring?

I need an explanation from his supporters cos Atiku himself might not see this.
