The biggest known scammer is Buhari. Volksfuhrer: |
If you know how pathetic and insane you sound, you'll leave social media with all your ridiculousness. BafanaBafana: |
Surprisingly half of APC were PDP before yet in condemnation and accusing the current PDP members for all the decay of this nation not forgetting to note that most of the APC members were mostly part of the past administration. This PDP condemnation is archaic and insanely stupid when you have a finger pointed at them and have 3 pointed back at you. oyin44: |
Still on distilled propaganda. APC e-rats won't get tired of digging up old dirt and pouring it all on Jonathan and PDP. |
Does it look like we have the power to change anyone under Buhari? This tyrant won't even let any other party win not even chairmanship election. Buhari has taken away Nigeria's democracy and freedom. this Deji story is just one of the many. HallaDaTruth: |
It's pathetic that we have lost our fundamental freedom under this tyrant called Buhari. He has suppress this nation to take some of it's rights as privileges. We neither have freedom of speech nor movement unless its in favor of this administration. It's a shame on the purported democracy they are claiming. |
A president that can not get the support of his citizens without having to pay them for it. It's a shame on this government. |
He can't even go close to the patients. You can fake a visit but can never fake compassion. |
So many courageous and dedicated men have died. Buhari promised to bring an end to this Boko Haram in 6 months and has failed woefully. We hope he forfeits his 2nd term crusade and let a more competent man rule and do better. |
When they've sold themselves to APC, why won't he make such declaration. It's too pathetic. |
The way this APC led government has failed it's supporters if terribly worrisome. But the good news is that we will all be liberated come 2019 when we get Atikulated. #BetterNigeriaWithAtiku2019 #BNWA2019 #AtikuPlanLaunch #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain |
Current report as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Monday visited the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ike Ekweremadu, to seek his understanding over the choice of Mr Peter Obi as his running mate. On the entourage of Atiku were the Director General of the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, who is also the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki; National Chairman of the party, Uche Secondus; and the National Organising Secretary of the party, Col. Austin Akobundu (retd.). It was learnt that the visit was meant to appease Ekweremadu, who had hoped that he would be the natural choice for the position. It was gathered that the visitors asked for Ekweremadu’s support and explained to him that Obi was picked in the interest of the zone in particular and the nation in general. A source said, “He was told that Obi does not have any corruption case against him and that he does not belong to any faction of the party. “He was also told that Obi’s emergence has further raised the acceptability level of the PDP across the country.” Meanwhile, the party has scheduled its National Executive Committee meeting for Thursday in Abuja. Our correspondent gathered that the meeting would approve the full composition of the council and also vet its budget for the campaigns. Secondus confirmed the inauguration of the campaign council to our correspondent on the telephone. “Yes, we are meeting on Thursday and the campaign will be inaugurated same day,” he said. Buhari has been busy equipping Boko Haram through enormous ransom while his military lavish in immense suffering whilst the military chiefs enjoy and live a lavish life at the mercy of these soldiers. Buhari has failed as a person, a general, and a president. He will probably claim that it's as a result of the PDP cabals while he is yet surrounded by only people in support of his political agenda as military chiefs. God have mercy on this nation if this illiterate forces his way back into power come 2019. |
His accent and his intonations speaks volume. But there's no hiding place for a thief even if he hides in APC. Later they will claim they are fighting corruption. |
Different clothes, thesame old body. They don't need a new theater commander, they need a new commander in chief. A former military general that cannot lead and revamp his military properly. |
HE SHOULD PROBABLY PUT ON A UNIFORM AND JOIN THEM. |
If it were PDP led government, this news will go out like wild fire. But since Buhari has successfully suppressed our freedom, these thing don't get out as much as it ought to. May God liberate us from the hands of an incompetent lifeless president. |
A military general that cannot jump on mourning his fallen combat soldiers but can immediately mourn a senior colleague probably because their lives don't really matter to him shouldn't be a leader. what a shame. |
Technically defeated but tactically still being slaughtered. Buhari and his administration are all lifeless jokers and liars. They are probably benefiting from this onslaught on Nigerian military but trying to keep the public from reproach. |
Most of this same Nigerian military being killed like they are unqualified have been sent to nations without proper intel but properly and fully armed by this same government only to have them return to their mother land to fight for their lives, family and nation with little or obsolete weapons and this lifeless man in power claim he withdrew $1bn without the executive approval to buy arms for this same military that are being slain on a weekly basis yet complaining about the unavailability of up to date weapons. Buhari is a colossal disgrace to the military and his title as a general. He should resign for making false promises about a battle he's cowardly shying away from. It's better we have a civilian and know we are loosing for his lack of experience than a lifeless military general who claims to be experienced but can not apply any in this fight. Buhari has failed this nation. |
Most of their achievements can all not fall into this list because the current Buhari administration has claimed and hijacked the glory for themselves basing all PDP did on corruption forgetting that half of APC were PDP before. #BetterNigeriaWithAtiku2019 #BNWA2019 #AtikuPlanLaunch #LetsGetNigeriaWorkingAgain |
A former Minister of Health, Prof. A.B.C. Nwosu has explained that the South-East was supporting the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, because the region was unhappy with the All Progressives Congress, APC-led government. Nwosu said the South-East was unhappy with the ruling party because it has been completely excluded from the security structure of the country, hence the need to rally round Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi. Speaking with Vanguard, the former minister said, “It is Atiku’s prerogative to choose a running mate and he did so. I think that the declaration of Igbo leaders at Nike Lake Hotel on Wednesday 14th November 2018 is clear evidence that Ndigbo appreciates Atiku Abubakar and the PDP for assuaging the feelings of the people of the South East. “The message from that one-day summit was loud and very clear. The simple truth nationally and internationally is that the choice of Mr. Peter Obi has been well received and generally Ndigbo are very unhappy at the way the APC government has completely excluded them especially in the security agencies in the past four years. “Even Igbo ministers know this. So, the endorsement of Atiku/Obi by Ndigbo should come as no surprise to nobody especially given the 97 – 5 percent policy of this administration.” On why the selection of Obi was widely received, Nwosu said, “He is young, he is knowledgeable, he is competent and he is humble. His achievements as two-term governor of Anambra State speak volumes of his competence and point to him as a round peg in a round hole for a country that is seeking to come out of recession; for a country that is seeking massive creation of jobs; for a government that badly needs prudence in government expenditure; for a government that wants to fight corruption effectively by plugging the expenditure leakages, etc. “Peter Obi’s knowledge of the economy, business both big and small and management of public funds will serve this country well.” By Seun Opejobi Source : http://dailypost.ng/2018/11/26/2019-presidency-apc-govt-pushed-igbo-supporting-atiku-obi-prof-nwosu/

New video emerge showing Boko Haram killing about a 100 soldiers. MAIDUGURI, Nigeria (Reuters) - Militants killed around 100 Nigerian soldiers in an attack on an army base on Sunday, security sources said on Thursday, blaming Islamic State West Africa. The toll is among the highest since President Muhammadu Buhari came to power in 2015 and it could raise pressure on him ahead of an election in February, not least because he has claimed victory over the nine-year insurgency. The insurgents attacked the base in the village of Metele in northeastern Borno state, the epicentre of a revolt by Boko Haram and its Islamic State splinter group. “The insurgents took us unawares,” said an officer who requested anonymity. “The base was burned with arms and we lost about 100 soldiers. It is a huge loss.” Many troops are missing, the sources said. One soldier said more troops were killed on Tuesday when an attempt to recover bodies from the initial attack was ambushed. “We all flew because we didn’t know where the bullets were coming from,” he said. “They killed some of us who went to evacuate the bodies of the killed soldiers.” “We left our amour, tanks and weapons. They were all there. The village is still under their control.” Four security sources said around 100 died in Metele and the death toll was not final. The fifth said 96 died in the northeast in recent days, mostly in Metele. The senate, which is controlled by the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), on Thursday suspended its session in honour of what it said were 44 dead soldiers after the Metele attack. Opposition presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, who is Buhari’s main rival, called on the government to support the families of dead soldiers. A presidency spokesman said the military would issue a statement. Military spokesmen did not respond to requests for comment. The government and military often decline to acknowledge the scale of losses in the northeast. Militants have killed hundreds of soldiers in the region in recent months. By Ahmed Kingimi, Paul Carsten Source : https://www.reuters.com/article/us-nigeria-security-insurgency/militants-kill-around-100-nigerian-soldiers-in-attack-on-army-base-sources-idUSKCN1NR1SR Rampaging Boko Haram insurgents overran a Nigerian Army battalion in Borno State on Sunday, killing the unit’s commander and dozens of soldiers, military sources have told PREMIUM TIMES. A large cache of arms, ammunition and military equipment were carted away by Boko Haram fighters during the attack on 157 Task Force Battalion in Metele, Abadam Local Government Area, at about 6:00 p.m., a setback for government forces trying to push terrorists further out of Nigeria’s northeastern flank. There were fears for the fate of the troops from the base, which was raided only a month ago, as military sources said the Nigerian Army was making frantic efforts to contain the traumatic effect of the attack on the larger counterinsurgency operation. Bodies of fallen troops were still being recovered and evacuated from the scene as of Tuesday morning, PREMIUM TIMES learnt. But dozens of soldiers from the battalion have already been confirmed killed, amongst them their commander. Military sources were unable to tell the number of Boko Haram casualties. Military sources said the fallen commander was a lieutenant colonel, who had overseen the unit for a long time. He once allegedly refused to mobilise troops for an operation, citing unavailability of serviceable hardware, but faced threats of being court-martialed, sources said. PREMIUM TIMES has decided to withhold the identity of the officer as it was not immediately clear his family had been informed of his death. It was not immediately learnt how many soldiers were manning the base during the attack, which was linked to Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA). The group has long targeted military bases, and has intensified its assaults in recent months on military formations across the volatile northeast. A day before on November 17, Boko Haram terrorists attacked the base of Sector 2 troops in Mainok, Kaga Local Government Area, killing at least one soldier and leaving several others wounded. Military sources believed the Shekau faction of the group was responsible for the attack, which saw insurgents cart away a large quantity of arms and ammunition. Both the Nigerian Army and the Defence Headquarters did not return PREMIUM TIMES’ requests seeking comments on the attacks Tuesday morning. A spokesperson for the Nigerian Air Force also did not return messages seeking comments. It was only on October 8 that Boko Haram militants raided the same base of 157 Battalion in Metele, killing at least 18 soldiers and wounding eight others, PREMIUM TIMES reported. At least 157 soldiers were feared missing during the attack, and their whereabouts had not been conclusively resolved by military brass over a month later, sources said. Military authorities announced the attack, but heavily downplayed its magnitude. President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian military leaders have claimed they are winning the war on terror, but analysts say recent attacks are bolstering rather than dampen fears of the insurgency. “When you consider the frequency of these attacks since July, it is difficult to say that our military has the upper hand,” said security analyst Chris Ngwodo. Mr Ngwodo said a possible failure on the part of the military leaders to appropriately fortify bases might be responsible for the audacious scope of the attacks. “These bases are not sufficiently fortified to withstand insurgents’ attacks,” the analyst said. “That they are doing this regularly and getting away with it shows there is no adequate security in place even at the bases.” “Every resource must be made available to fortify where soldiers are manning, even though many of them are forward operating bases,” Mr Ngwodo added. “Intelligence capabilities must be also be strengthened to anticipate things like this because the huge movement it takes for terrorists to carry out such attacks should have been detected.” Hundreds of Nigerian troops have been killed and even more missing since Boko Haram resumed its latest campaign in July, fueling concerns amongst military leaders, and prompting an emergency reshuffling of commanders. Worried about the rising cases of missing soldiers in Boko Haram attack, the chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai, issued a warning to troops on the battlefront against fleeing from insurgents in August, threatening errant personnel with a tough prosecution. The Defence Headquarters announced last week it had taken new delivery of military equipment, boasting of a tough time ahead for insurgents. The military has said it recorded tremendous gains in its counterinsurgency operations over the past three years, especially after managing to confine the insurgents to the fringes of Nigerian territories. This was against the previous years when the deadly Boko Haram terrorists held vast Nigerian lands across its North-east stronghold, occasionally spilling into North-west and North-central geopolitical Source : https://www.facebook.com/belindadiko24/videos/108608610163822/

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday warned the President Muhammadu Buhari government, to “review its policy of releasing so-called ‘repentant’ terrorists”. In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja on Thursday, Atiku bemoaned the level of insecurity in the country. According to the former vice-president, both Muslim and Christian clerics now officiate funerals more than marriages and child dedication. Atiku called on the Federal Government to take bold steps to end unnecessary deaths, because he was tired of issuing condolences on such deaths. He said, “I have been travelling all over Nigeria and I meet with both Muslim and Christian clerics who tell me that in the North East and Middle Belt, they now officiate over more funerals than they do marriages and child dedications. This is heartbreaking and we must do something immediately to change the situation. “Apart from funding, I advise the Federal Government to review its policy of releasing so-called ‘repentant’ terrorists. To think that the government can de-radicalise these individuals in so short a time is wishful thinking. “Many people, myself included, think that the upsurge in terror activities coming after the release of such detainees is not coincidental. “Finally, I urge the National Assembly to suo moto, take action to appropriate funds for our military on a fast-track basis. These are desperate times for Nigeria and desperate times call for dedication to duty of all concerned. “I am tired of issuing condolences for unnecessary deaths. I prefer to make a difference and prevent unnecessary deaths amongst the gallant men and women of our armed forces and the civilian population they took an oath to protect.” By Ifreke Inyang Source : http://dailypost.ng/2018/11/23/atiku-warns-buhari-releasing-repentant-boko-haram-terrorists/ |
